Definitely short staffed but for the limited amount of employees they have they sure do a wonderful job! Had a curly headed boy help me and my wife and he was very nice, never complained or dragged along, and was great at keeping a convo going while making sure we got what we needed and the best quality available. The plant selection was very large, and they have a huge amount of products to select from, anyone who says they don’t are complaining because they didn’t have something very specific they wanted. Me and my wife will be shopping here for now on instead of Home Depot and Lowe’s. Look forward to going back!

Great store. They have just about anything you may need for your home from paint, lumber, parts or furniture. Staff is friendly and very helpful as always. This is the type of old school store where they have a little of everything and they know where it is. If you need it they probably have two of them somewhere. Just go by and give them a chance. I know I will.

Customer service was horrible. Husband and I are getting a new double wide and need to get special meter and few other things. We asked for help and got us the wrong size meter and then gives us a hard time returning. I will never go back.

Went there for plants. Selection wasnt as great a pre-covid early bird specials, but did find some of what I wanted. Very nice people.

Went to the information desk, to ask where a tool was (oh the irony), only to be ignored by an obvious manager texting on his phone. He stood there with me less than 10ft away from him, wouldnt even acknowledge my presence. So I walked out.I used to like this store. Wont be back.

This was the worst experience I have had at the store, the employee was very rude and not listening to what I had to say. He threw parts on the counter and said that he was burnt out this weekend and walked off. I will not be returning to the store for a long time, if I go back at all.

They are very helpful and knowledgeable. They helped me find the right screws to mount my TV, and they gave me some really good tips for making sure the job is done right. Definitely recommend over the giant chain stores.

4-6-19 I have spent several thousand a year here NO MORE Been buying from this store before this female checker was born.Bought a bottle of Tight Bond ultra II glue and after I paid for it she wrote up on the top right corner of receipt and I ask her why and she replied I will weigh it if you return it to make sure you didnt use any (I mention that I may have some but buying this just in case i cant find it)..Very bad training,She has refused my vet discount before but the friends and family card will get you 5% Unreal! I walked right back in to report her to manager, return the glue and he has worked there many years and was very nice and offered it to me half price, I said you can keep your glue.I drove to HOME DEPOT(they honor veterans with 10%) Southerlands is 5% depends on checker also.The same glue I returned for profiling me as thief, priced $4.49 cheaper at HD half of Sutherlands.I will be contacting the Franchise owner about the profiling, racist(short black hair) that was checking on 4-6-19 late afternoon. I will get her name and edit with her name

The staff there is awesome. They were very helpful and they listen to you. They also dont make you feel like a dummy for asking questions.

Sutherland is a nice hardware store. We appreciate having them close by.

Its good in a pinch, if you dont need anything special,or if you know what youre looking for
