Pasta J’s is our favorite takeout place in the Benton area. Staff is always so nice and friendly and they have call in and drive thru service, which totally helps this mom of two after a busy day and in a rush. There has never been a dish that I have tried and haven’t liked. My favorite is their signature house salad, Garlic Chicken with Penne Pasta, and topped off with my favorite classic Italian desert, a cannoli.
It’s okay for pasta food. I ordered the chicken parm and all I received was all spaghetti and the tiny bit of chicken. I really don’t mean to downgrade, but I think it could do better. Need more help and faster service.
Took on hour to even get an appetizer. Then over an hour to get our food. Food was good. But ended up just having them make it to go after the hour wait.
First and foremost, I want to state the taste of the food was good, but I was very disappointed with the portion size. I ordered the large family meal for 4 (garlic chicken), and it was barely enough to feed 2 people. I was also disappointed in the lack of chicken in these dishes. One of the containers had less than 10 pieces. Also, my food wasn’t ready within the time stated, which I understand happens occasionally. But I waited an additional 20+ minutes.
Food was good but for some reason the noodles were hard and not completely done. They were like rubber. The food had a good flavor it was just the noodles
Awesome food I’d say about the best I’ve ever had would suggest to anyone to go out of their way just to come here and the new porch dining area it’s nice if you want to sit outside
Great food even better service
They r nice n clean n foods great
The salad was great. The alfredo had a great creamy texture but all you could taste was black pepper.
Nice staff. Food is good.
They serve great food here, all the employees were very friendly.
Once again the crawfish pasta was to die for. Service was great!
Food is always delicious. Love the salad.
I love this place, and order from them often... but after today I’m super disappointed. I ordered the Chicken Florentine(which is nearly $11). All I received is pasta, sauce, and some spinach leaves thrown in. No chicken at all. If I wanted pasta and sauce only I would have ordered the $7 Alfredo dish... I’ve ordered this dish before and idk what happened, but it shouldn’t have been sent out. And it should have been checked before you sold it to me. Giving 2 stars because the other dish, the Lemon salmon with angel hair, was perfect.(Posted to the Bryant location about 2 months ago by mistake) I’ve been 2 times since this original review, and they have had to give me 2 free meals for their mistakes. This time the lemon salmon dish had no pasta at all. Again, the food is always incredible. But how do you always forget pasta in one dish???
Worst Italian I’ve had yet. Both my husband and I weren’t happy at all. I honestly thought it was going to make me sick. The salad was good and had our order ready when we picked it up. I wouldn’t go back though.
Great place. Good food. A little pricey for the portion
It was amazing! I ordered the blackened salmon alfredo and they did perfect on the salmon. Most restraunts over cook salmon, but theirs was perfect. They are also very reasonably priced.
Well the food wasnt that great and they are proud of the food in price. Benton branch and I had the lunch Lasagna and friend had the Lunch Garlic chicken. Keep in mind Ive always liked this place. Might had been a bad day. 25 to 30 bucks for Lunch tho.
Love all thier food pasta primavera is my favorite I remember larger portions but the size wont matter with taste that good
Great Service! Fabulous Salads! Wonderful Entrées!!!
This is my new favorite pasta/Italian restaurant. The shrimp tortellini bake is great, the baked ziti tasted homemade (try it with extra cheese and garlic), the manicotti has perfectly savory cheese fillings.
Earlier this evening: Called at 5:19 to place my order and was told it would be 25 minutes before the order was done. Walked through the door, within 20 minutes, paid and was told it would be another 15 minutes. Left and came back, plus waited another 15 minutes...still no food. By this point, Emily was at the drive through asking what the problem was. I explained to her I was told 25 minute wait, we’re approaching 50+ minutes and still no food. She proceed to tell me “you have to understand we have new cooks and are short staffed” so I kindly explained that when you’re speaking with a customer, you never start off with “you have to understand” but perhaps apologize for the inconvenience and go from there. Another 5 minutes pass and I’m politely waiting on someone to come back to the window so I can request a refund. I was told that one order and bread was ready but the other order was not (only ordered mozzarella bread and 2 chicken Alfredo add shrimp with extra Alfredo sauce). Also note, I drove from Sherwood to Benton for this pasta.Emily finally hands me the food and upon checking my order was wrong. It contained no shrimp or extra sauce. So as I tell Emily the order is wrong, I’m not going to waste any more time waiting, and I want a refund. She walked away and yelled “I’m trying to be nice to her”. So I requested a manager, who happened to be the line cook who was off but said she stopped to check on the new cooks, saw they were behind, and jumped on to help. I was then given the refund plus allowed to keep the incorrect order. Although the manager tried to retain me as a customer, I will not be returning due to Emily’s horrible customer service.
Once a week for the fam
We ordered the family Chicken Alfredo with the house salad. The food was ready on time and plenty for 5 adults and 3 children. The service was friendly and the Alfredo sauce was amazing!
Love how they fried the bowtie pasta and made them as chips for their spinach and artichoke dip!!! Even crushed a couple to go on top of my salad.. really made it taste fanominal
We love coming here! We’re always treated with great service and smiling faces! I can’t say enough about Pasta J Italian. Go check out our favorite crew! Thanks y’all!Bill and Monica
Food was extremely good and my waitress Paige greer was the most super friendly and provided excellent service. I will definitely be going back there.
Prices up and less food. Not Cool.
I had a bitesquad order that arrived. It was a large salad. There was no dressing or cheese on the salad. This is the second time this has happened. I will go to Bryant from now on. At least they are friendly and the food is always fresh.
The servers were great.
So absolutely amazing. 10/10 would definitely recommend.
We visited the Benton location. We were there for at least an hour and a half. The phone literally rang the entire time. The drive thru service had anywhere between 3-4 cars in it at all times. There were four tables inside of customers with only one table remaining open. There were two cooks and one sweet waitress that was literally running herself to death trying to take care of all the inside guests, the drive thru, the phone calls, and all of the walk-in to-go orders. The food was ridiculously bland and the chicken nuggets my son ordered looked like McDonald’s warmed over. My spaghetti tasted like school lunchroom food. The owners have completely setup this restaurant to fail. There is plenty of business to get some help for your staff. We will not return and feel very sorry for the employees.
So, so good. Lunch special was excellent!!
The Italian Nachos are the bomb and so are Chef Vickie and Makayla! Go for the food and the great service!
We always have the best service here! Lindsay takes the best of us!!!!! The entire staff is accommodating and so friendly! We try to make it at least once a week! Great all the way around!
Waiting 40 minutes for two plates to go was too long while even those coming in after me where served. The food was good and they actually use spaghetti noodles which I liked and the flavor was better than the similarly named restaurant in Bryant which apparently doesnt know the difference between linguini and spaghetti noodles, though the noodles could stand to be drained better. The atmosphere and lighting inside is horrible though, just couldnt do it, too bright, too open diner like with no decor.
We ABSOLUTELY love this place!!! Super friendly and DELICIOUS food!!! The best pasta in town!!!! Hands down! Do yourself a favor and eat there!
Leanne and the girls are amazing people. Everyone needs to stop by and say hello
The food is pretty good, the staff are great, and the place is very clean. One of the better places in Benton/Bryant.The main dishes are well prepared. The salad was really good, although I wont get the croutons next time.I dont know what we were expecting but the cheese bread was not good. The garlic bread isTexas toast, which Im not a fan but I know some people like it.Overall, its pretty good.
A good place to grab a quick bite of Italian. A range of dishes (and portions) are available so youll leave happy regardless if you want a light lunch or a full meal.
Food was an hour wait which was fine because it was a carry out. When I arrived an hour later I had to wait another 30 minutes for my order. There were 3 cars in the parking lot
My food was cold, while other people at my table had warm food. Our cheese bread sticks where forgotten about and brought out after we had our food. Took 10-15 minutes for drinks to come out. Waitress had a runny nose which she wipped on the top of her hand while touching our cups.
Italian nachos are out of this world. Very creative menu item. Italian classics and favorites are also available.
The food was excellent. The staff so friendly. Will go back many times.
Unfortunately I am sad to give a bad review. The food is mediocre at best. Spaghetti is bland and not well seasoned. Lack of meat in the meat sauce makes it taste like canned spaghetti sauce. In their defense, it’s not a super expensive restaurant. You get what you pay for I guess.Service is the biggest take away for this establishment. Terrible service over the past few years and seems to be getting worse. Personally I recommend saving your money. If you do end up going here for take out, check your food to ensure it’s what you expect.
Around $12 for a big ol plate of tasty pasta.I got the blackened chicken pasta, which was a cajuny sauce base with peppered chicken. I was hoping for a bit more spiciness, but the flavors were blended very well together. If youre in Benton, definitely add them to the list of local places to try.
Amazing food. Great service. Portions are no where near worth the price. I would have to pay about $25 to get full there. Which is way too high for a place thats not full service.
Always order carry out through BiteSquad. Havent had any bad dishes. Food is surprisingly good when I get it. Meatball Spaghetti is great. For the price, cmon... you cant get any better than that than from a fancier restaurant. All loves here!
I had not been to Pasta J in a while. The menu has changed and the food was pretty good. Quick in and out.
Came to pasta j for Fathers Day, should have known to not go since the parking lot was empty. My family and I used to go to Pasta Jacks all the time, but unfortunately the new owners, and employees have made it where we will not be back. Now, the reason for the two stars. The employees were rude, and seemed put out by wanting to change the noddles for the pasta. We asked for the chicken spaghetti with a side of Alfredo. They bring out the food, and the spaghetti had meat sauce on it. Blaming us for the ordering the wrong food, because we ordered chicken spaghetti. I would like to think, if someone is ordering a side of Alfred then ask when ordering if they want the meat sauce. They didnt offer to fix or the order, and as they walked away one of the employees gave an extremely horrible attitude. We will not be back.
Went in yesterday for the first time because of all the good things I have heard about you guys. I came in and placed a to go order. It was a very simple order. The lady who took my ordered disnt write it down though and when I received my order over 30 minutes later I double checked it. The spaghetti I ordered had cheese on it though I asked for none. I had them send it back and it. They took another 20 minutes to fix it! Frustrated I left. When I got home and got to my food it was wrong also! The place had 1 lady working the front when I was there and several people in the back playing around on phones.Very disappointed in this place though everyone has always said good things... I wont be back
Food was good. Service was really nice. For the amount of servings per price, could have been better.
Its ok. Not really what I expected
Very disappointed. I called in the lasagne to go. and it looked wonderful, but i cut into it and the pasta was tough and looked grey on the inside. Id say it was old.i wont be back.
Service was slow but food was great
Pasta Js is great food and bargin prices. We use the drive-thru and bring it home to eat. Super desserts too.
Spend your Valentines Day @ Pasta Js in Benton, Great Food & Great Service!!! Been coming here for years & years!! Come check them out if you havent been. Located behind Sonic on Military!!
Got the lunch special on our way out of town .add alfredo to it and wow ..
Im from Memphis and I was a manager at several mom and pop type restaurants, and I can say in my years of management I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and actually having a conversation with him. I can honestly say that this gentleman is one of the most down to earth humble people Ive ever encountered. I just moved here a month ago and I can honestly say that this will be my go to spot to eat its a friendly environment with a fantastic staff I recommend this place highly 5 stars easy hands down.
Fast and wonderful food. My first time eating there and it was amazing. Reasonable price for everything
The only Chef in this kitchen is the microwave. You can easily tell nothing is made to order here. Everything is frozen and warmed up. Even the garlic bread, which is just Texas toast bought from the Walmart freezer isle.Go to Veronas, which is just a few minutes away.
I order cheese tortellini every single week. If I dont, Im sick. The best Alfredo sauce and so addicting! Very friendly, loving staff! Go see them!
The waitress made it very clear to us that they were going to close in 15 minutes when we arrived. She was very short with us and made us feel rushed. We found a hair in our cheese bread and the lady we told seemed more annoyed than anything even tho we told her we didnt want it replaced, we were just letting her know then they forgot my sons meal...way too much sauce on the food. Ive never had this experience before at this restaurant. Had we known they were closing soon we never would have gone and apologized when she told us. Very disappointed in my experience
Great service, food and price!
We always get good service and we get good Italian food at a reasonable price.
I come to this restaurant all the time!!! I love the food and the staff is awesome!!! If you come on Wednesday or Saturday, the kiddos eat for .99 which is awesome for me since I have a house full!!! I dont think the negative comments are accurate. Ive never had a problem with this business!!!
This is my second time there and I think the food is delicious. Lunch time is the best time to go. Leave happy and full each time.
Hello all! I work at this Pasta Jacks and Id just like to let you all know that the weekend hours here on Google are wrong. We ARE OPEN on Fridays and Saturdays 11am-8pm and on Sundays from 11am-2pm. We would love for you, your friends and family to join us for lunch or dinner! We have a great variety of pastas and pizzas for everyones taste and if youve never been to our restaurant we would love to take the time and work out what suites your taste the best! Thank you and hope to see you soon!
Great service! Food was delicious!! Best pasta around.
Food was great. My new go-to comfort food place now.
Normally, I love Pasta Jacks. The food is always good. I ordered the garlic chicken pasta off the lunch today and got it to go. I get back to work and have ONE piece of chicken. I didnt get a drink and it was almost $8.00, not a happy camper! I have noticed the lunch portions keep getting smaller and the prices have increased. Even though the food is good, the portion to price is making me not want to go back.I called manager and he was very sorry for what happened, he took care of me and I am satisfied with the outcome. I still think they have wonderful food, this was just an unusual occurrence.
EXTREMELY LATE WITH ORDERS AND ARE VERY RUDE! STAY AWAY!
I think that all of the negative comments regarding Pasta Jacks come from an incorrect understanding of what the restaurant claims to be. It isnt your typical sit-down restaurant, so if thats what youre looking for, you should try somewhere else. This is the reason that the staff arent very attentive, and from my understanding, it isnt expected to leave a 20% tip, unless of course you feel like that would be warranted. The wait times can be a bit long, but that it simply because they actually cook your food when you order it, which is far preferable to fast food that has been sitting under a heater for hours. And as far as the food goes, it is one of my personal favorite places to eat in the Benton/Bryant area and I have never had a negative experience at either restaurant. 5/5.
I used to enjoy this place, but their service has tarnished the establishment. Waiting at a drive through window for 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged me was just the start. Mind you, this was after being told that the order would be ready in 20 minutes and I gave them 30 minutes. When I arrived home, I was astonished to find got my order incorrect. I was told it would be ready in 20, and after 45 minutes, they still couldnt get it right. I called them back and was then placed on hold. After waiting some more on them, I was told that I had ordered what I wanted incorrectly. So, apparently I didnt know what I wanted to eat. They did. I was instructed to bring it back and they would fix it, which I did. As I waited for my new order in their lobby, I talked with another customer about how they received the wrong order also. Apparently this is common thing for this restaurant now. After an hour and a half in total, I finally got my food that I ordered. Honestly, I would have rather been refunded my money and walked away from the whole experience. If you absolutely need Italian food, do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to dine, even if its out of the way. This place is a joke now.
A few of us from work went today at lunch and we all enjoyed it. Our waitress was very nice and was running around taking good care of people on a busy day. The lunch special garlic chicken with mushroom (on penne pasta) is a favorite, and one of us got the mozarella sticks. They were larger than we expected and very good. Cant forget their side salad, which we all love. The lunch specials are good value and its all solid, though maybe not amazing food.
Lindsey Johnson is such a great waitress!! Definitely recommend her as your waitress! Love the food as well
Great food and great service.
Always super good food, and sweet people.
One of my most favorite places to eat!! Always delicious, hot food, cozy, relaxed atmosphere & great, friendly service! Definitely recommend!
My favorite place to eat! They have the absolute best chicken salad EVER! And you can’t beat the service.
Great atmosphere and even greater food! Definitely somewhere you could eat daily and never get sick of the food! The new general manager, Leanne, rocks and you can tell she doesnt just care about making money... shes here for the customers!
I typically order togo food just because of my work schedule. Lindsay and LeighAnn are by far the friendliest ladies Ive ever met. Their recommendations on the meals are always great! Their smiles are contagious and their services are always fast. I would highly recommend Pasta Js in BENTON (Bryant sucks)
Oooh...FANCY SUB. FAR better than Subway. And Kristin, the waitres was very quick, sweet & cute too😁 Kinda off the main strip so not very busy. Which made it even better.Loved it and I will be back
Have loved this place for a long time! For the most part its just not the same anymore. Sauce isnt so good you wanna drink it like it used to be😓the salads are just okay most of the time now & entrees are smaller but good, not mouthwatering though
Chicken Alfredo is off the chain, worth the wait for the in house whipped sauce
WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE WHILE ON OUR MOTORCYCLE TRIP.A TRUE PLEASURE TO FIND AN INDEPENDENT RESTAURANT OF THIS QUALITY. EXCELLENT FOOD AND EMPLOYEES WHO KNOW WHAT SERVICE MEANS!
We eat here once a week, and the few times where something was not top notch, they made sure it was corrected and amazing. From the friendly staff, to the terrific food, we absolutely love Pasta Js.
Lindsay was my waitress and she was Perfect! Sweet and amazing, checked on me often and made sure I was well taken care of
Love this place! Their Penne Pasta is amazing
Best salad and pasta in town.
Food was good, had to wait a little to get it though. The waitress had to be reminded several times to get our order correct.
The food was fantastic!! I got taken there for my birthday and had the chicken pesto, and that blew my mind.
Their food is very good.
Id almost go for the salad alone! The garlic chicken penne w/mushroom is good too, though it is a little greasy/buttery
Very good food excellent waitress not sure what her name was but she just had the baby a few weeks ago before November 4th
I had the Garlic Chicken w/ vegetables and it was really good and my waitress Lindsay was awesome!
Very fast and efficient. Great additude and atmosphere!
Staff is polite, easy going. The food is great!
