Great bikes for affordable rates for the day! Ride around town for almost 40 miles with no issues. Staff was great at both locations. We will definitely be back in the future!

All of the staff was very knowledgeable and spent time with me helping me make informed decisions about all things biking. Even though the store was packed and busy, everyone was well taken care of as they shopped.

The service department is awesome. They are happy to help and very quick.I bought a $7k bike because Max in sales took such good care of us in previous transactions along with the service department and I do not even live in AR.I will be sure to buy all my future bikes here instead of Trek Bikes in Austin, TX.

I dont remember their names, but the guys in the service shop on 10/01 were awesome. I came to Bentonville from WI and on my first day riding my rear derailleur broke. I brought it to the shop and they grabbed a new derailleur and threw it on in less than 20 minutes! While I waited I had a blast talking with the staff. Super knowledgeable and friendly. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend. They saved my trip!

Came to this store trying to buy a new mountain bike for my kid and fix an old one that got wrecked in a crash.Knowing that it’s a little difficult to get spare pieces right now. I told the guy that we needed a crank arm for a Giant Talon 2.I know they don’t carry that brand but I was in the need to fix this bike because my kid races for NICA and if it was necessary and couldn’t find the piece buy a new bike.The guy that helped us at the beginning everything was normal but when I told him about my kid riding a “Giant” bike and wanting to fix it, immediately in a not very professional manner (with a mocking grimace) rapidly told me “Sr we aren’t a Giant dealer” I was aware of that but this guy didn’t really seemed wanting to help us.He offered to talk to one of the mechanics who was very polite, and he on the other hand try legitimately to help us.But unfortunately the firs impressions are the ones that will always remain.After that experience I went to Mojoes cycling and they did everything they could.And they never stated “hey we don’t do those brands”Bottom line the guy didn’t leave a good impression in me.I just bought another bike and it isn’t going to be the last one.Sorry I never leave negative feedbacks but in this case I think it was necessary

Brought bike for new tires. First day riding, the rear axle fell out causing the tuning to be messed up. Thought it was Phat Tires fault. Brought it back in and they graciously fixed it and let me know the bike had a wrong bushing causing the axle threads to not fully engage. The bushing was out on by a different bike shop while replacing derailleur. So Phat Tire fixed for free another store’s mistake. Yeah, I’ll be back, and I’ll let all my friends know if the great service. Not visits took less than 20 minutes. Highly competent and helpful.

Stopped in due to broken spoke and they had me up and running in a matter of minutes. Recommended them to other riders in our group when one of them got a slash in their tire. Same story...2 new tires very quick. Amazing service and a very personable staff. This is the go-to shop in Bentonville.

I was super impressed with the service at Phat Tire. We came in last Saturday morning and when we walked in the store was super busy. Within minutes we were greeted by a gentleman who helped us with our search for a new bike seat. Not only did he show us where the seats were, but stayed and talked to me about what I was looking for in a bike seat. Once the choice was made we took my bike over to the service area and we were done within 30 minutes of walking in, new seat installed. Great job Phat Tire!!!

Nice shop, good merch. The folks here are genuinely helpful, theyre not trying to sell you something you dont need. In fact they seem to only want you to get the perfect items, one employee sent me to another resource to get a slightly better size instead of pushing the sale. That prompted me to buy other merch (hat, t-shirt) because I always want to support an honest business that puts the customer first

Service department was awesome, the gentleman that helped me was quick and attentive he took care of my bent rim and had me back on my way in no time flat, and the price to fix it was super reasonable. Also was offered a complimentary beer from one of the local breweries while I waited. Top notch!

We were in town for the day and rented som cruises from here. The staff was really helpful and they had plenty of last minute hike options. We road our bikes all around town and we’re able to take some trails suggested by the employees. They also had the most bike options with some very affordable pricing.

Unbelievably good service! The bike maintenance staff is on top of their game for sure! Ive been here a few times and there is always someone eager to grab a bike and immediately start the repair, even when the shop is about to close. Everyone is always happy and smiling. Prices on everything Ive bought from repair parts, protective gear and my recent tailgate pad purchase are very fair and dont seem to have the local bike shop markup Im use to. Love this shop!

Great shop, got me and my friends riding again twice this past weekend. Once, after I got a little too excited on a downhill and bent a brake rotor, and then when my friends shock sprung a leak. Great people, great shop, great stock choices, and good looking branded attire. They were really helpful about rentals too, even though we ended up renting from someone else who had the right sort of bike available. Definitely worth a stop if youre in Bentonville.

We come to Phat Tire anytime we are in town and need something for biking and they have never disappointed. The service has been beyond great, the employees are friendly, and they have just about everything you could need for biking. Today they went even farther above and beyond the mark of great service in the shop. We went in to buy tires, picked from their sizable selection and, even though they were set to close in 20 minutes and we offered to come back another day, they squeezed us in. After they got 1 tire off, they questioned whether the ones we picked where going to fit. Per the manufacturer website for our bikes, they shouldve fit however, the techs keen eye noticed that our rim width was able to support the tires width but, it would likely cause issues as the tires were slightly outside the safe width for our rims. They offered to do it anyway with the warning that they didnt reccomend it. We heeded their warning and ordered the size we needed since they didnt have that in stock at the moment. They put the tire back on, added sealant AND the tech was so sweet, he didnt want to get my brand new teal grips dirty so he put a towel over them to keep them clean while he checked that the bike shifted through all gears again.On the sales end, we got great advice and conversation about some gravel/road bikes and they had some in stock at other stores that they could order to our local store. We will always come here because the people here are so knowledgeable and friendly.

Just brought a group of 19 youth and parents to phat tire and had a great experience. Josh was very helpful leading up to the rental and great at communicating. When we arrived the staff was really organized and got all of us on our way really fast. I was really impressed with the quality of bikes and service! I would recommend phat tire shop to anyone

I was in the area with about 3 hours of free time. Rented a Salsa Rustler mountain bike to explore Slaughter Pen. When I got out on the trails I soon realized that the handlebars were not inline with the forks and the bike would not shift correctly. Skipping gears so I had to shift up 2 and back down 1 to get to the correct gear. Still had a great time but it would have been nice if the bike had been dialed in.

Front of house staff very helpful. Repair shop staff AMAZING! Turnaround time for replacing my front tire tube was 10 min. Great people work here.

Was staying in Bella Vista with a group for a long weekend get-away. Stopped in Friday night (4/23) as I needed a new tire so I could ride the next day. Stopped in for about 20 minutes. Service was AMAZING! Absolutely TOP NOTCH!!! Had a new tire mounted in about 10 minutes. I simply couldnt believe that the guys had it turned around in such a short amount of time. Had a great experience and will gladly recommend Phat Tire Bike Shop to anyone. On top of that, the guys even offered (and provided) a beverage while we waited. Thanks again.

As soon as I walk into Phat Tire, someone asks me what I need. They always get my bike on the stand immediately. Most shops at home require days not minutes just to look at my bike.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE AND THE TEAM AT PHAT TIRE!!! I went in with a terrible attitude because I was 5 miles into a 50 mile ride and couldnt get my bike to shift. They got me all fixed up and even took the time to explain the problem to me. I was back on the road with the confidence that my bike was in great shape!! I would gladly have walked 5 miles to have taken my bike to the team at Phat Tire!! I will ALWAYS take my business back to them. First time visiting Bentonville and had to make the rounds to some of the bike shops. Phat Tire was awesome, super busy and well staffed! The selection to choose from was pretty awesome given the shortages seen with the pandemic and we found items for our adult daughters. The staff members were very cool, courteous even though busy close to closing time. Great job people!! We hope to be back in the near future!

I recently visited this shop and rented bike in this store for 3 days and had a best experience ever in-spite of an unfortunate technical glitch in the bike on first day.Josh was gem of a manager who evaluated the situation and fixed us in real quick and put us back in action. Love the Phat Tire shop downtown. Usually stop in at least once for fun whenever I am in town. This trip I snapped my dropper cable at the far end of Slaughter Pen. Rode back in to town and straight to the shop. They had me fixed up and back ready for the trails fast.

Seth & guys hooked me up with derailleur hanger fix in no time after i torqued mine on a morning ride — my first ride on Back 40. He shared great local info on where to go & insider knowledge about trails & resources. Grateful for his expertise that got me back on track for the rest of our vacay in this awesome place—thanks!

I give 5 stars but, I didnt do anything but ask questions. I spoke with Griffin, he was eager to answer any questions to the best of his ability. Danny is the best bike mechanic Ive ever known. He fielded my phone call and understood the problem, he confirmed he had parts and another way of solving it if the parts didnt fit. He identified me when I came in and quickly troubleshot the problem while doing the work required. Not to mention he is just a nice guy too. The shop itself is nice and offers a large selection on most things. Incredible for downtown location.

Even with a bunch of maintenance on my bike, before a recent trip, I noticed my rear wheel had some loose spokes and was out of true. Stopped by Phat Tire and they immediately put it on the stand to tighten up and true the wheel. Just fantastic service from a busy shop. They also have a great selection of kit and accessories. Love em !

Phat tire is a sweet bike shop and the mechanics are top notch. Was able to get a quick turnaround after snapping one of my crank arms, thinking I was done riding for the rest of my trip. Instead I received a call about an hour later saying my bike was ready to ride. Highly recommend swinging by for a chat on local trails or if your bike needs some tinkering.

This is my LBS and I love this place! I take all the fixes for my bike that I cant do myself here. They are always super quick and surprisingly well priced! Couldnt imagine a better bike shop!

I needed some help diagnosing some bike problems. They took the bike back right away looked through the whole thing let us know what was going on, made a couple adjustments and said no charge, just have a great trip. Loved the feel of the place.

The staff were super friendly. One of the staff members and I chatted it up for about 10 minutes or so and I never felt rushed or unimportant. They were quick to help when I walked in and took me right to what I was looking for. My only gripe would be that the bike inventory was sort of lacking, but bc of Covid and through no fault of their own…. Besides, I wasn’t there for a bike, I was just wanting to look around. They did have a few really really nice bikes though!!

Have been to tons of shops all over the country and the people here are the best I have ever experienced. They had the brake pads I needed amongst a large selection and when I messed up the install they fixed and bled when I walked in 5 minutes before close. They served me a beer at the same time! Can’t recommend them highly enough.

I was on vacation mountain biking in Bentonville and Bella Vista and had a faulty crank bolt snap off. I brought my bike in and within 10 minutes it was fixed! Awesome help even on Christmas Eve!

So I did a 2 day rental on a mountain Ebike. I arrived @ 10am to pick up my rental and the Employee informed me I rented for the following week not this one. Ya, I felt stupid, but Ben (the employee) saw my face turn red and sweet begin to run down my forehead, quickly said let me see what I can do. I was out the door and rolling in no time. Ill be back. Possibly for the summer!

Unfortunately my experience with these folks was all bad. 😹My bike was dropped off & they had the part on the work desk. “Come back Monday”” & we should have it ready for you.On Tuesday they said it wasn’t ready because they needed to order the part from Fayetteville store.After returning from a week of vacation I tried to pick up my bike & it still had not been worked on yet.(Now 3weeks later), I drove up to the shop & after 20mins and a lot of talking in the back the young man returned to the front desk & told me they would try to get it done today.Grrrrr. They finally got it done and txt’d.I was never contacted about their delay in repairs, given any explanation or apology.It has now been 3 weeks & I have not been contacted about the poor service they were “checking into” according to the email 📧 (pic below)I hope that I am the only person who they have treated so poorly. I will take my business elsewhere from this point forward & will be sure to let all my fellow bicyclist enthusiast know of the service they can expect.

Needed a hybrid tire fix in a mountain bike town. No problem. They got me running again and were very fair on price. Never made me feel unwelcome because I didn’t have a MTB. I would return.

Great folks to rent bikes from. Very fair prices and the bikes were in great mechanical condition. We rented gravel bikes to ride on the new Razorback Regional Greenway that runs from Fayetteville to Bella Vista (we only rode the Bentonville to Bella Vista segment this year). The bikes performed flawlessly (well, except I am a SRAM guy and had to adjust to Shimano but thats just me). I enjoyed the shop so much I also purchased a shop road jersey. I will definitely do business with these folks again the next time I am in the Bentonville area. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BIKE SHOP!!!!

Tyler in the shop got me hooked up today for a major bolt that came loose. He got me ready to ride on the spot and explained the problem well. Great service from him. Highly recommend them.
