Absolutely excellent customer service!! The owner spent 40 minutes assisting me with finding bolts, washers, and nuts for an elliptical machine when i thought the original kit wasnt included in the package. Unfortunately I found the original kit of bolts taped to the box very discretely and the owner was extremely kind and accomendating in providing me a refund!! I would definitely recommend the hardware store for excellent customer service and because i was able to find what i needed when i was unable to find it at home depot.

Always friendly, competent service. I bought a can of outdoor paint and had it tinted. When I got home, I realized the color was too light, so I brought it back and asked them to tint in to a darker color. Mark did it without even charging me for the extra time and colorant. Thanks so much!

My reason for visit was to get some important addition to household you dont need every day but if you need it is not around in stores the magic plunger 😉 I was also educated a very professional gentleman who knows all answers for customer who knows nothing about plumbing system. Afterwards I bought a few pieces like kitchen sink stopper etc. I dont like to go get a little things to giant Home depot which is confusing and time-consuming . Berkeley Hardware is much lovely and satisfying place. Everyone is always helpful. I am shopping there for many years ! Happy customer !

Great store, well kept. Just watch out for their hours / when theyre open. They close early weekdays.

Most amazing owner I ever met Im from pa I was working right by this hardware store I forgot my socket wrench set and needed it for this job I went to this hardware store to buy one but unfortunately he didnt sell them so instead of telling me to go somewhere else the owner brought me to his own personal tool box in the back and said borrow what you need without that tool I would have not had enough time to drive to home depot and finish my job in one day and would have had to drive back the next day all the way from pa for a owner to have such a huge heart and put profit aside really showed me there are great people in this world thank you so much for you kind and amazing gesture really helped me out

Friendly, personable, and supporting. Berkeley Hardware has been a solid focal point for years for recommendation to local tradespeople, and which bolt to use when putting together lawn furniture. They are my one stop shop for over 20 years... updating.. they even do special orders.

Berkeley Hardware is convenient, well run, warm and friendly/-Berkeley Heights institution. I love that we are able to have such a great resource in this town, and can get all the essentials without heading to the highway and a big box store. Shop local!

Still a great hardware store with great helpful owners, but not the amazing phenomenon of the past. Yes prices are prior, but sure beats the garbage at Home Depot.
