I was trying to avoid going to Home Depot, and just noticed this places sign as I was driving by. The people working here were knowledgeable and friendly, they had exactly what I needed, it was very inexpensive, and since I had literally parked right outside the door, I was in my way in no time. Mission Accomplished!

I brought in a valve stem to older kitchen sink faucet. They recognized the part and had the replacement valve stem, washer and spring.They also explained how to do the replacement. Very helpful. Not cheap, $30 for 2 valve stems, washers and springs.

Excellent place. They will mull things over with you, essential for diy fixing obscure plumbing problems. Avoid busy times, like Monday mornings. Many plumbing-related specialty tools and a lot of plumbing stock. But, no giant store to get lost in or pick-a-number nonsense. Just an old-fashioned counter. Plus MacBeath and Urban Ore are right there.
