I dont generally go into cosmetic stores but I was searching out a very specific red lipstick and knew that all of my friends really like MAC cosmetics. I went into the store in kind of a hurry and the ladies were very attentive and presented me with 3 really great options. Overall I got what I was looking for and Im very pleased with it.

Went in to get my make up done for a gala the lady did a very good job, she was patient and listened to my idea. I shared the look I was going for, she made changes when I suggested and had good color suggestions. I loved the final product and even bought some of the items to take home with me. I definitely plan to go back and bring my sister..

Got my makeup done here for a maternity photo shoot and it couldnt have been better! Anisha did an amazing job achieving the look I was going for - beach bronzed and subtle. The makeup looked great in all the photos and made me feel beautiful and confident (despite being 30 weeks pregnant with twins!). I would definitely come back and get my makeup done again. You really cant beat $50 and a free mascara!

Went for National Lipstick Day & got a free lipstick valued at $18.50. Yahoo!

I love MAC cosmetics!!! They were one of the first companies that made a series of Foundation powder concealer the whole line for women of color. My favorite store is the one in Berkeley on 4th street because they have natural light coming in the shop. It allows you to get the true color of your foundation lipstick which is a huge benefit. We all know weve bought the makeup inside the store only to get home or to get outside and find out its not the right shade. And wasted money. I recently tried and you kind of lipstick that is more of a sheer color with a hint of opaque coloring. I went through the week and so there was only one other customer in there so I got great customer service and I didnt have to wait very long which is usually the case at Mac because its always so busy. The danger of course of going in there is that you may be tempted to buy more things than you originally came from because they just have such great colors. So be forewarned and enjoy your shopping.

I just love Mac Cosmetics. Nicolle and Bella in Emeryville are outstanding the walking eye job they did on my was fantastic. Its a free service. $60 for the whole face but you get a makeup. I dont wear makeup, but I want to learn and they have classes. All in all these ladies made my experience very warm friendly and lets just say my husband enjoyed the visit as well. Thank you ladies you put the cherry on top of date night.

Was supposed to pick up my order from here. But the website redirected my request to being shipped the next day without my permission. Customer service is horrible.

Could have better sanitation other than spraying the surface. They should have individual spatulas for application. Not too knowledgeable of skin matching of black skin tones. But friendly....

Love, love, love the MAC store on Fourth St. The best staff of any other MAC store I have been to... they just closed for remodeling. Supposed to reopen in June.
