Today was my first ever time in this store. It was very clean, set up nice displays and lighting accents. I was amazed at the products available, the volume, and quality. The check out staff was respectful and professional. We did NOT have to self check out, so that was EXCELLENT!!! Plan to continue shopping at this place. Thank you Target!

Target always have what I need and more

If I could give a zero I would. No one ever answers the phone and Starbucks is unpredictable. Visited there on a Friday afternoon and Starbucks was closed (midday)! I called on the following Sunday to assure Starbucks was open and no one answered the phone. I called and selected every option with no success. Once I arrived b/c my daughter really wanted Starbucks an employee working the drive up was outside and when I questioned him about not answering the phones he said he wasn’t connected. As I passed the front entrance there were multiple employees working guest services so why the heck was no one answering the phones. I would not recommend Target Bessemer...awful customer services and long lines with 1 register open on a regular.

Cleaner than WalmartWhere isnt? Friendly, helpful staff. Some Covid precautions, including free masks and sanitizer, senior shopping hours. Not a place to save money or find great variety.

I enjoy going to Target to see the selections that are not at other stores however the prices are higher so most of the time I end up leaving and trying online to find the item. Most of the time I can find the same item online for at least $3 or more cheaper. During this time, every penny counts for me and I have to go where I can find the best deal.

They had in stock items other stores did not have.

Target is Tops for ConvenienceI was surprised at how easy it was to order online and how quickly my order was ready for pickup. I waited barely a minute at the drive up parking spot before a very nice Target employee was loading my purchase.

You can literally get anything and everything here. Its very easy to get carried away here, just came in for a few snacks and walked out with a bunch of stuff I didnt intend on getting but still very happy with my purchases.

I often shop at Target, but this store is frustrating. It never has more than one or two lanes open at a time even if there is very backed up lines, despite numerous employees wandering aimlessly around in the store. Also, ALWAYS CHECK PRODUCT EXPIRATION DATES at this store. I have bought numerous expired items unknowingly. Very frustrating. Management acted like they didnt care at all on all occasions it has happened. I even brought it to the managers attention by taking her to the products. I went back the next day to see if they had new stock, food items that were expired were still there!! Disgusting!

Target in McCalla has the best associates ever. Everyone was so helpful, kind, and courteous.

I was short on time and needed the products for a meeting. It was ready in way less than the two hour window. The associate on duty at guest services was efficient and friendly handled all customers in line quickly.

I took my little boy to this location to spend his birthday money last night. He accidentally dropped $40 on the floor. He went around looking for it but could not find it. He was getting upset and asked an associate working in the electronics dept if he had seen it anywhere. The guy said that he had found it and returned it to my son. Saved the day! This location has very kind and honest employees. I appreciated his help so so so much. Other than that the store in always clean, organized and well stocked. The cashiers are always friendly and helpful. I have never had a bad experience and shop here often.

The only thing I dont like about Target is their customer service. Ill give them a star for star bucks.

Overall a good experience until we checked out. If Marcus and Trevor spent as much time focused on customers as they did flirting with each other and trash talking about customers the check out lines would move a lot smoother and quicker. This was the first Target I have shopped where employees did not wear a uniform. Trevor in black and Marcus in orange? No Target red easy for customers to identify you as employees? Name tags only help at the register.

Clean store and great customer service. The Cashier Dee at the Bessemer (McCalla) store is so good to her customers. Always has a smile and a nice person to have wait on you.

First off they only had 1 lane open and there were about 8 people in line - I counted 4 other employees that were just walking around while I was in line but no one offered to check anyone out. Secondly, they refused to price match the Target app because the product was on sale for bogo 50% off. So they lost a customer over $3.61. Very disappointed with my experience and the “supervisor” acted as tho she couldn’t care any less that I was upset and leaving the store empty handed.I would just like to add that I was contacted by the Manager and she rectified the situation - I am very pleased with the follow up I received from her.

Visited on Wednesday and two associates were incredibly helpful in finding me the perfect card for a friend. Though they were busy putting merchandise out they stopped and looked through a box to find a Mickey Mouse card that my friend absolutely loved and needed. I work in retail and understand how frustrating it can be when youre trying to put merchandise out and you keep being interrupted. Their wonderful customer service meant a lot to me.

I was here Tuesday of last week . I was shopping like normal and I noticed a white man following me around whom obviously worked there. He asked to see my receipt . I let him and he followed me all the way out the door. It was not a nescarity to follow me around when i wasn’t shoplifting . He only did this because I was BLACK . I will not be back racial profiling is real in the McCalla Bessemer area .

Not so Random receipt checks. I Wouldnt be so offended except that I dont steal. So I stayed on the sidelines and watched security perform checks. Hence the opening line. Cashier and others in store were very polite and helpful so kudos to them!

The convenience of online shopping

It was so easy to order and get everything I needed. I love the multiple options for picking up and/or delivery.

I mainly go bc of Starbucks but really have been enjoying taking advantage of their great sales. The selection of furniture n decor are so nice and affordable. The associates and managers alike are all sweet, helpful and the stores consistently stocked and being clean (especially their restroom ) is definitely always a plus!!!!!

The item I ordered was ready extremely fast for my pick up. When I arrived my wait was about 2 minutes. The item was more beautiful than I thought ... love it.

Went to pick up a couple things this afternoon & ran my card twice. Got home to see my card was processed three times (one transaction not ours). I tried to call the store and be transferred to the correct dpt & every number I clicked I got hung up on. Called someone in the pharmacy...couldn’t transfer me...we shop here often & to know you can’t get in touch with anyone after their credit card scandal before is really frustrating!!! 😡

Awesome cashier checking out tonight at Target! She was the only cashier! She greeted all customers with a smile and thank you for shopping at Target. She will be customer service team lead in the future. Target you have a great employee working tonight!

Its quick and easy

Tonight we were looking at Smartwatches and the associate in the electronics department was by far amazing! He was incredibly busy but still took the time to help us understand what we were buying instead of just unlocking a case!!! 3 👍🏽5 ⭐ for sure for this guy!!!

It is a clean store that is located close to our home. The store is staffed properly and the wait times to check out are relatively quick.

Upside: Got was I came in for and it was on clearance!Downside: Cashiers were all standing in a group talking and while the girl checked me out, she and another cashier continued their conversation with me there and saying Im sorry for what Im about to say to me then cussing is not exactly great customer service. Yes girl your eye makeup is on point, but your customer service could use some work.

This store needs to be updated, Id love to shop here for groceries but theres no meat department or fresh veggies, I have to pass this Target and drive to the Hoover Target which is further and I pass this Target on my way to the Hoover Target.

There was absolutely no wait time. I did the on the way tracking and when I was pulling up the representative was walking out with my merchandise.

This store has signage and customer service issues. It was advertised that Lays potato chips were two for four dollars. At the register that wasnt the case. A manager was called I explained to him what the sign said, he scanned the chips and never acknowledged what I said and walked off. I love Target but that experience was unacceptable.

Witnessed a ..boss? Talk down to one of his employees as I was buying something, and then proceeded to make fun of a customer in another aisle. Then, when I called and asked about stock, I was lied to on the phone about when the inventory truck came in, so I ended up making a special trip in the morning for nothing. Also every time Ive ever needed to ask a question regardless what it is, they NEVER seem to want to talk to me or give me a simple yes or no. Complete incompetence. What stock they do have a lot of the time is pretty lackluster. I do like the cleanliness of the store though and prefer going to Target rather than Wal-Mart but they could use some improvement in the management department.
