I worked directly with Joe on ordering some supplies for a deck, and he was fantastic. He stuck with me through various design changes and was always happy to update my invoice and even special order supplies that I needed. The lumber and composite decking came in looking fantastic, and Joe even accommodated with a last minute delivery of some 20 boards I needed at no extra cost. I worked with him for over a month to get this order in, and he demonstrated excellent customer service at every point.

If I could give them no stars I would I purchase a heater yesterday and from the start it was defective they informed me I did wick wrong. The hearer is defective it came that way seriously one day and they wont accept a return. I will NEVER shop here again!

COVID PRICE GOUGING Don’t buy anything from These people . (( COVID )) Jacked price up called got a price on 20 ft 6x6 it was 74.00 went to pick it up 108.dollars lady behind counter said sold one for 93.00 I was told 74 over the phone same pallet only 7 left and only all little bent (( Curry said no way)) I try not to buy big box store and help local businesses but you can’t bite the hands that feed you .

Let me start off by saying if I could give 0 stars I would. We ordered two doors SIX weeks ago from Curry @ Fountain. Curry, the owner/owners son is never reachable when we call, he is either on the other line or out to lunch. When he finally does come to the phone he will tell you he will call you back in 10 minutes (which he wont) and you have to call him back hours later. Today, after six weeks of waiting and getting the run around, Curry answers the phone (after calling him 4x) and says ah I dont know man, I dont know what happened. Im not even sure I even ordered those doors. As a busy renovation company in Hoover, I would advise to never order from this company, as you may or may not get your product.

I went to Fountain Building and Supplies and bought 10 sheets of 3/4 plywood and they got me loaded up in no time and I was on my way back to the shop..Very friendly service

We recently built a new house. Fountain installed all of the windows and doors and the staircase. The front door is a double door. Initially, one of the two doors was cut too short. I raised the issue several times during building, but all I was told is it would be fixed. After we moved in, Fountain finally delivered a new door. After a couple of weeks, someone finally came out and installed the door. However, the sweep on the two doors are now a different color. In fact, the two doors also vary in color. The installer also damaged the trim and Fountain agreed to replace it. Fountain sent out new trim, but no laborer. After a couple of more weeks, Fountain contacted me and said they were having trouble getting some one out, but he (Alan) would come out and do it himself. I said ok. Keep in mind, at this point, this remedy has been going on for nearly a year. We had issues earlier in the build with the wrong windows, wrong doors, wrong ballusters, but eventually that would get fixed. I felt like I was pretty flexible and forgiving about all of the issues. After a few more days, my builder sent a group text asking if a plan had been developed to get the door fixed. I said no, that Fountain was unable to get their trim guy out and that Alan was due to fix it himself. Then, Alan sends this reply, Im not making a special trip down there. Ive already (got) $3,000 in the (w)hole ordeal and none of its my fault but Im going to fix it myself as usual but itll be sometime next week. I finally lost my temper. Is he really worried about special trips? Fountain had already made many fruitless and worthless trips. Its not his fault? Whos fault could it possibly be? It was their door. Fountain installed the door. Fountain did inadequate repair work. Fountain installed the two different colored sweeps. Who elses fault could it possible be? I responded in a way that wasnt very kind. Now, Alan isnt doing any repairs. My builder hired someone else to remedy Fountains warranty work. Dont do business with anyone that will not stand behind their work. Stay away from Alan Fondron(sp?) and Fountain Building Supply.

Manager rude, purchased a kitchen cabinet carried cabinet back cheap material cabinet was half gluded together no finishing nails to secure the, corners bracket half stapled to side that was to support it. Had to put a nail in the sides to get it back to the store. I would not recommend the Bessemer store for any items for your home that is supposed to last. Kitchen cabinets are not purchased on a weekly basis when you purchase a wood cabinet NOT partiboard you except it to last not come apart on side to side when a customer has a complaint regarding your product I would think you would handle it in a professional matter put them in your house. Dont sell it to the public.

Owner is extremely rude. Lied to our faces about our countertops. Even made my wife cry because he was so rude and because it was such a bad experience. I will never buy anything from them again.
