I love the food, never had breakfast but lunch is amazing!All employees are sweet BUT 2 of them have the worst attitudes and rush me when they clearly see me looking at the menu and see that Im trying to decide. When you are rude with me I am rude back, next time Ill show it.I only like dealing with 3 employee and its because they are very sweet.I also dont like how pricy it is, but can see why its very high when its very good. I just wish the employees would change their attitudes and be more friendly.J & J employees and owners if you see this I recommend telling your employees to change their attitude or change careers. You lose a lot of business just by the way someone acts

You’re going to think I’m crazy when you pull up and see an old gas station, but I wouldn’t lie, this place has the best burger I’ve had in at least 15 years, maybe forever. You want to go here, and you need to go here. The staff are so nice, it’s like a choir of angels is making you a cheeseburger and fries, and once again, I’m dead serious.

I go for the burgers which are great. Usually a little congested and someone smoking inside so if youre a smoker you might like to step back to the 70s where smoking is allowed indoors and youll probably like it. Staff is always friendly. Iced tea is good. Good pebble ice.

Dont be fooled by the outside appearance. This place has one of the best burgers youll ever eat. The burgers come to you hot and fresh. No frozen beef here. The fries are fantastic too. Oh yeah, dont order a double unless you can really put away a lot of food.

Ive loved this place ever since I was a little girl. The food and atmosphere has never wavered. Still the same as always. Same family oriented people slinging the same recipe burgers on the same grill top and always greet you soon as you walk in the door and either hand you your food because its either ready or theyre waiting for you with pen and bag by the time you make it to the counter. I KNOW when I crave a J&J burger and go get one, Im gonna satisfy my craving for the best burger I can put in my mouth prepared and cooked by the same hands that always do. Because its Always the best. Feels like going to a family relatives house every time you walk in the door. 🙂

This is a gem of a place in the rural area of Bessemer with a unique setting and delicious burgers the fries are good but different service is friendly and professional and the prices are good.Also should try their delicious philly cheese steak sandwiches and chicken livers.This is a great place that only the local people know about but if you pass through these parts definitely recommend this place you will have a unique rural southern style experience and delicious 😋 food.

Weve been going there for about 10 years. Dont be fooled by the appearance. Yes, its inside a gas station. The food is done on a flat top grill that has been seasoned for years. Seasoned fries. Everything is always cooked to order. They serve breakfast too. But get there early. They close at 2!

Bacon cheeseburger was fresh, hot and juicy, fries were hot, crisp and flavorful, service was fast and friendly. This would be a 5 star except they allow smoking at the seating area and not a fan of eating next to an ashtray or someone smoking.

Great local place with great burgers. Busy Saturday May wait 20 minutes for your food, but worth it. Only complaint (which isnt a big deal) is - it can be smokey in there from all the cooking & you can come out smelling like grilled onions, but still great place.
