I absolutely love this whole office. Everyone is so kind and so knowledgeable. Its always a straightforward but also friendly experience there. Dr.Atwood and her staff does an amazing job with kids. I thoroughly recommend.

I made an appointment for a visit to get follow-up care after a stroke. Dr. Atwood and her staff were amazing. I live in Florida and have been in the area for medical care. They had no problem getting me in after a cancelation, even knowing I wouldnt be a permanent patient. I would highly recommend this office for your vision needs.

Staff is extremely helpful. Super clean environment. They are taking every precaution to protect clients against the virus by limiting patients, taking temp at door, wearing mask and cleaning all areas. Mark Ellison your the best I never feel rushed and you aways answer any questions I have.

Wonderful new Dr.at Bethalto Family Vision Center.Dr.Lynley Atwood has taken over the practice of Dr.Ellison who is retiring.She is very nice and kind and gentle.I will be going back every year for my eye exam.DrAtwood likes cats too which made me happy.

Honestly, this was the the best experience at an eye doctor ever. Staff is absolutely fantastic!

I went for my first eye exam in probably ten years. Dr. Atwood was very thorough and professional. She answered any and all questions and was very helpful. She even explained in detail how distance correction can impact your close up vision when I asked how that works. The office staff was very helpful and patient and helped me pick out frames that I liked and my insurance covered. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. My only issue was that Saturday appointments are booked way in advance so I had to wait for an appointment to be available, but that just shows how popular they are! I wish Dr. Atwood many years of success. She is a very personable and professional eye care provider and really knows her stuff.

Oh my, I was running a half hour late this morning. My fault totally, my bad. My appointment was to recheck back in on a oil gland growth growing on my eye lid. Doctor hear us making another appointment which I totally deserved. She stopped us and said come on back now, we need to take a look at that growth. All was ok, growth was gone just as she thought it would be. There was a chance my oil gland could continue to enlarge but it cleared its self out. I was in and out in a short time but got excellent care. Thank you. Very pleased.

I have been to Bethalto Family Eye Care twice and will be my first choice in eye care. The scheduling was easy and accommodated my schedule not theirs. Very professional and friendly staff and Dr Atwood explained exactly what tests she was performing and what they were for. I was never under pressure to buy anything from them and left with the satisfaction of having a complete and thorough examination. I would recommend them to anyone who is in need of eye care.

Went in for an injury without an appointment and was seen right away. Figured out the problem and feel much better.

Dr.Lynley Atwood is the Worst eye doctor ever! First off let me say,I called the office and ask if I was seen for a contact exam would I get a pair in office and be able to order that day for work.They said that was completely workable and got me in the next day.I was told it would be 70.00 and whatever the cost of the contacts I picked were.I said that was fine.I get to the office and was taken to the back by a young man just moments of being there.He then took me to a room where Dr.Atwood would see me.Now this is a small office.Upon my waiting in the room,I was put on the back burner because her house cleaning was more important. She was ordering carpet cleaning and vent/duct cleaning for a house they needed to move into soon.Heck I even know now she has 4 bedrooms 1 hallway and a staircase.So that right there is a bad start. Then she reviews my eyes.After completion she informs me she wants me to trial 1 pair,then come back trial another pair and do 2-3 more office visits!? I told her I could see with the pair she gave me and I just want to order contacts,she said no.I asked for my prescription, she said no because she didnt know what she wanted to put even though I said I can see.So I was charged 70.00 for 1 pair of 1 month trial contacts.Absolute ludicrous! On my receipt it shows my eye and vision exam were normal with no abnormal findings and what it was so why did she want me to keep coming back and fourth for? To waste my time and money is why?! I would have never went to this doctor if I knew she was going to refuse to let me buy contacts!!!!!! I will NEVER recommend this eye place to ANYONE EVER!
