I am shopping for a new car and visited this dealership this morning. Within minutes of walking into the showroom, my wife and I figured out that we were not going to buy a car from them.When we walked in, the employee at the front was eating at his desk and of course not wearing a mask. He put his mask on when we approached him, but still had his mouth full as we started talking to him. Then we were greeted by a salesperson, Mike, whose demeanor and super casual clothing was not what you would expect in a dealership selling luxury cars. On top of that, he was wearing his mask under his nose, which defeats the purpose of wearing a mask, and another employee was walking around the showroom without a mask.We asked information about the models we were interested in, but he gave us only very generic information about the different packages and handed us a low-quality and unreadable photocopy of a flyer with information about what was included in each package. When we pointed out that the flyer was difficult to read, he told we could go online.At this point, we were almost going to leave, but decided to go for at test drive. Before entering the car, my wife asked him to make sure his mask was covering his nose, since we were going to be in an enclosed space. He seemed visibly annoyed by this request and reluctantly complied. As soon as we sat in the car, he pulled his mask down, and I asked him again to cover his nose, but he complained he couldnt see with his mask up (he was wearing glasses, but so did my wife who was double-masked). At that point I told him We are done! and exited the vehicle and left. He offered us to test drive on our own, but we informed him that there was no chance we were going to give him our business.Based on my experience today, I believe this place is overrated. If you are going to spend $50k or more for a high-end car, you should expect nothing less than an exceptional level of service.

This was my first time at this Acura service location. Joseph was exceptional. He was very personable, kind and professional, and ensured I was constantly up dated on the status of my car. I will definitely continue to service my car at this location. The waiting area was clean and well stocked with snacks and drinks. I was able to work by connecting my laptop to the free wifi. It was a nice experience. Didnt take too long for my service either.

After going through a very rough accident and in need of a safe car in a short time, Carlos and Mike in resale department went out of their way to ensure I was taken care of. It was completely different from the typical transaction as Carlos used his creativity in getting me the right car with limited selection fast. It’s times like this where the person makes the ultimate difference and Carlos is a standup guy and I will be recommending his service to all my friends and family. I highly recommend this dealership. Their sales team will go above and beyond for their clients! I worked with Tiara Gray, who arranged for me to test drive and lease my 2021 RDX all from the convenience of my home, because I have a newborn baby. I never had to step foot in the dealership. Everything was done by phone, text, and online. Everyone was professional, kind, and understanding of the fact that I was a new mom in need of an SUV. Run, dont walk, to work with Tiara and the entire Chevy Chase Acura Team. They are awesome!

My schedule is crazy, hectic and sometimes so congested I don’t have time to squeeze anything extra in. With that, I am posting this one month after my purchase. My vehicle was totaled out and I had to move quickly with a replacement vehicle that would work for my children and I. I knew that I wanted to have a SUV as my previous vehicle was one. My time was limited and my budget was set. I inquired about a used car on the website and received a call same day. Emanuel my sales rep matched my pace and energy and scheduled me an appointment for next day. He discovered my needs in the quick call we had and even called to confirm our appointment the next day. When I arrived, he not only had the car pulled to the front but asked for my keys to the rental I was driving to get the car seat out. He remembered that I said I needed space for my car seats and he placed them inside for me to get a true feel of the space. He once again matched my energy and pace and our test drive was in motion.Emanuel was knowledgeable on the warranties and service packages enough to gather the more important items I required. He then got me to the paperwork portion I needed and also helped me maximize my short time allotted to complete the transaction. While I went to grab the payment from the bank, Emanuel went and put a full tank of gas in the vehicle and sent it over for detail. Once I was back, the car was not finished and I needed to get back to work so Emanuel went one step further that will always be the above and beyond memory for me. He allowed me to head back to work (5 minutes away) and brought my mew vehicle to me. This was the best service I have ever experienced when purchasing a car!Emanuel also did follow ups to ensure my experience with my vehicle was still as pleasurable as my first time driving it away. I am thankful I found my new vehicle at Chevy Chase Acura with Emanuel.

My experience with this dealership service department was terrible. Ive been taking my car for service since 2017, and this was yet one of the worst experiences ever. To get started - I scheduled a pickup for 8 am and had to call them after 8 to find out the status of the pickup. It seemed as though they were not aware of the appointment. The driver finally came around 8:55 am.Moving forward - I waited for 6 ( 3:00 pm) hours before calling the service department to find out the status of my car. And he stated that someone would contact me with that information. Again, I waited for 2 1/2 (5:15 pm) hours before I got the call, and the individual who called had no status or updates to report to me. He finally emailed me an analysis of my car.Another issue on their end was trying to find a driver to bring my car back to my home - unbelievable! When they finally got a driver, the driver asked what time would be the latest to bring my car back. I gave him 9 pm - Im agitated at this time. I asked the gentleman - Did my vehicle go through the car wash, and he answered yes but, it didnt. I could not see if the car had been washed because it was evening and too dark to see.The following day prevailed - the car was much dirtier than before the service maintenance.The bottom line is the service department had my vehicle for over 12 hours only to rotate my tires and an oil change. Ill be looking for a different dealership to service my car the next time.

They completed the work on time and called me to report the work was done. They allowed convenient, online payment. The pickup process was fast and they washed the car for free.

I Arrived at 7:30 AM but there was a long line of cars with only one person Working in the service department. Joseph was very nice and helpful but he could only do so much. I had to wait 30 minutes before he could get to me. It seems that day many people called in sick or something like that. Your office needs to develop a back up strategy to avoid situations like that in the future. Just to make it clear the service I got from Joseph when he got to me was very courteous and professional, but after a 30 minute wait I was quite irritated as I had to Rush back home using the shuttle service to participate in a video conference.

Not a good visit. It was my MDX’s first service. All that was required was an oil change. The 1.5hours I was told it would take turned into 2.5 - for an oil change. Really? I gave them one request at check in, to have interior thoroughly vacuumed at end of service. I made two further requests for this to be done. Never happened. I drove away in disgust, went home and vacuumed it myself. Not even 1 * for this dealership.

Several weeks ago we traveled an hour or so to Chevy Chase Acura to purchase a specific and highly desirable used car that they had in stock. We had made an appointment and upon our arrival the sales manager greeted us warmly and immediately showed us the car we were interested in. The car was immaculate and the test drive showed that it was in perfect condition. The sales manager, with the help of his staff,guided us through the necessary paperwork and we were quickly out of the dealership with our new (to us) car. From first greeting to final send-off, everyone (and I mean everyone, including the housekeeping staff) was helpful and friendly making what might have been a long, difficult process easy and manageable. We will certainly be returning to Chevy Chase Acura as the need arises.I have held off on posting this review for a few weeks to be sure the car performed as well over time as it did that first day at Chevy Chase Acura. I am happy to report that the car continues to meet. all of our expectations and I suspect it will for many years to come.All in all, a great experience at Chevy Chase Acura!

Leasing my new RDX and trading in my vehicle with Chevy Chase Acura was the most pleasant and seamless experience I’ve ever encountered with a dealership (and I have purchased or leased a new vehicle every 2-3 years since 1998). I explained and was given exactly what I wanted and received zero pushback or attempts to upsell or change my mind. I was offered the full KBB value for my trade and given all of incentives advertised on their website that I qualified for.I live 90 miles away from the dealership and was able to process all of the paperwork remotely so that when I arrived to pick up my gorgeous new vehicle, the only thing we had to cover was how to use all the fun gadgets and controls. David (my salesman) and Maciring (my finance manager) made the whole process quick and painless - the opposite of a typical experience as most of us know all too well.I cannot say enough about how amazing my experience was and how highly I recommend this dealership (or at least the personnel I had the pleasure of working with).

My wife and I recently bought a 2022 MDX ASpec from Chevy Chase. Our sales consultant, David Petty, provided us with sensational customer service. Before deciding and during our initial discussion, he mentioned that he would ensure that he was providing us with the BEST offer. Of course, I had to look around at different dealerships in Northern VA and found they were not really concerned with trying to gain my business so they easily brushed me off. He worked with us and made our process the EASIEST we have ever had and was dedicated to making sure that he gained not just our business, but our trust. Very dissatisfied with the service I received. I purchased my Acura out of state where they dont require a front license plate. Brought my car into the Acura dealership so that they could put the front frame onto my car. After 5 months, the front frame (not plate, but the entire frame) fell off my car as I was driving. I took my car to the local mechanic and they told me I am surprised the frame stayed on as long as it did. It looks like the place you took it to only put one screw into your car, and the screw wasnt even the right size. Luckily the mechanic didnt charge me for the service, but the Acura dealership in Bethesda charged me ~$90. You would think an Acura dealership would know how to put a front license plate frame on an Acura.

This rating is for the service department: Took my brand new car in for an engine service light related to the emissions. Cesar was very professional and prompt. He explained the issue with my car (a manufacturer defect, likely during assembly of the car) related to the fuel filler pipe assembly. Had a loaner car while my car was waiting for the parts. COVID interrupted the supply chain so had to wait a while for my car to get fixed. Cesar updated me promptly.This was my first time taking my car to a dealer for service since it was brand new (I have always serviced my own car for the past 20 years) and I would definitely encourage Acura owners to use Chevy Chase Acura!

Great customer service at the entry and service department manager (Erick Sanchez was excellent) level. However, the experience with the loaner service was not that pleasant. The service person didn’t address person by name but rather was displaying grandiose attitude towards me, almost as if he was looking down. I’m not very impressed with first time visiting this dealership. Only reason I still gave 3 stars is because other service department met the expectations. Otherwise I would’ve given 1 star for the loaner vehicle department.

Overall, I was happy with my purchase, but felt the process of selling my car and buying a car took a bit longer than usual and the transparency wasn’t completely there. Upon closing the deal, the paperwork held several errors and I wasn’t completely aware of what I was signing until I read the paperwork more thoroughly myself; stronger explanations would have been helpful upfront.My sales rep, who was actually a product specialist was great though. Favian T was able to help me when I had questions and provided excellent customer service. Overall though, as said earlier, happy with my purchase!

All you need to know is... Emmanuel Felix. Best salesperson ive ever had. Saw a car online and called in, I had a few questions he answered all of them and asked him to check on a couple options. He called me back in 10 minutes from the vehicle and answered the rest of my questions. If zero stars was an option I would choose that. I brought my car in for a B123 service and when they brought the car around at pickup time they gave it to me unwashed and with significant front end damage on the drivers side that they had caused. They were certainly aware they had done it because as soon as I started to complain, Cesar, one of the service managers, appeared to confirm that the damage was as he said ‘“recent” as he ran his hand across the damage. I am of the opinion that they knew what they had did and hoped I would not notice. They gave me a loaner car but because I needed my car to make a 1,500 mile round trip drive to take my son to college, it did not really matter because I was limited to 100 miles per day in a loaner. I wound up putting the miles on my leased RDX at significant expense.The service department at Chevy Chase Acura acted as if I should be grateful that they were willing to repair my vehicle at all. They should have replaced the whole front side panel instead of making a repair. When I complained to them they offered no remedies. Took my TSX to Chevy Chase Acura for the first time. Kairi took care of me. My car had been sitting for a few years since I’d been out of the country. Now I’m back and wanted to make sure it’s in great condition again. Kairi had a multi point inspection done to my car, and set me up with their detail shop to restore the headlights. Kairi was great!!! Very professional and the whole process was transparent. For the first time, I didn’t have any reservations about spending money at a car dealer. Kairi walked me through the repairs and the recommendations. Glad I chose to take my car there and will be seeing Kairi in a few months to continue with the service and maintenance of my Acura with Chevy Chase Acura.

Literally the worst experience ever. Things seem to start off pretty smoothly, but then quickly go south as soon as any effort on their part is required. I had to sue them for damages they caused to my vehicle, which they decided to settle out of court. I quickly realized that putting the issue to rest was the furthest thing from their minds as they have not made payment almost 3 months later, nor will they, or their lawyer, James Hammerschmidt of Paley Rothman, give me a straight answer as to whether or not they intend to pay. It’s just another strategy by them to inconvenience me even further, forcing me to return to court to file additional paperwork. I am really disappointed to see a business being run like this and frankly surprised that they’re even still in business. There are much better dealerships to buy your car from, I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. You’ve been warned!

I promise I dont work there; Im just a very happy customer.Ill tell you a little bit about my experience at Chevy Chase Acura:For the past month, I searched around Maryland, DC, and Virginia to purchase a car; I visited Acura, Lexus, Volvo, Chevy, Toyota, Subaru, Kia, and a multitude of used car dealerships. I liked some of the dealerships, such as Lexus, Volvo, and Kia, and I found them to be pleasant experiences. At other dealerships, it seemed like the sales associates were at war, with a single-minded focus on reaching their hands down my pockets.Chevy Chase Acura was breath of fresh air compared to the stereotypes about car dealerships. My sales associate, Moe Nessem, was dedicated to providing the best possible service. Moe was very knowledgeable - Moe answered all of my questions about the vehicle I was interested in with full disclosure, provided detailed information about the vehicles maintenance history, and remembered exactly what I was looking for.The only issue I experienced with Moe and some of the other associates was waiting for long periods of time -- Moe and the finance manager seemed over encumbered with other customers. At one point, I had to wait for almost an hour for the finance manager. That said, the finance manager, Mas was very honest, and I particularly enjoyed strategizing with him about ways to help me save money (Mas, Im sorry if I spelled your name wrong)All in all, I had a terrific experience with Chevy Chase Acura. Everyone I met at Chevy Chase Acura appears knowledgeable, is honest, and has fine sense of humor. Ill attach photos of the vehicle I purchased, with a short description:Used 2015 Acura TLX - 4 Cylinder with Technology PackageThis TLX is beautiful and in mint condition - I plan to keep it that way. The TLX has Honda reliability and is very comfortable. The fuel economy is good for a car in this class, but that doesnt take anything away from its power; Its exceptionally fun to drive, with Sport and Sport+ mode for increased speed and dynamic handling.The only issue I have with this vehicle is the infotainment system - This model needs Apple Car Play, and the USB connection interferes with the Bluetooth system. To be fair, its a 6-year old model. Other than that, Im extremely satisfied with my purchase from Chevy Chase Acura.

I was happy with the service advisor and mechanic work done to my vehicle. However, as a luxury dealership I expect a better auto detail experience. My vehicle was returned to me with fingerprints (dirty prints) throughout my vehicle. They assured me they had washed/vac my car, but the windows were dirty, spots ALL over my vehicle and no interior vacuum had been done. So I was left extremely disappointed with the dealership for this reason, mostly because I get better auto detailing service from a Honda dealer in Virginia. I hope they do better moving forward, but Ill probably have my vehicle serviced in VA from now on.

We were told that the service would take under an hour, so no loaner would be issued. However, the service took over 3 hours, and when we asked if we could have a loaner, they said they only give loaners to Acura owners even though we purchased our Lexus from the dealership there. We also could not schedule online, nor could the salesperson I spoke to. Instead, I was re-routed over and over again to the service department that would not even have the audacity to pick up the phone or return a phone call. I had to speak to someone in the sales department to complain to even get the service department to call back. Overall, HORRIBLE AND PATHETIC customer service and communication skills. I should’ve known since I had to deal with extremely rude and unprofessional “salespeople” and “management” when I purchased my car from them last year. Incredibly disappointed with this place.

If I could give the team at Chevy Chase Acura more stars, I would. Our sales person, Richard Boyd, was knowledgeable, engaging, professional, and extremely communicative. He asked pertinent questions about how our eventual purchase would fit into our lives and listened to our responses, adapting his suggestions to best fit our needs. The Director of Sales, Kaveh, obviously takes great pride in his showroom and staff. He checked in with us multiple times to ensure we understood everything, in a quiet, unassuming manner that elicited a feeling of calm in an otherwise anxiety-inducing situation. The sense of family within the showroom was nearly palpable. Mass Boiro, the finance manager we worked with, was personable, knowledgeable, and fast. Throughout our entire experience, it was apparent that every person we worked with was truly invested in making sure our family found the right fit for us, both financially and product-wise.
