Great service. My second time here in three years. Franklin helped me switch from Android to my first IPhone....patient and congenial, great sense of humor....and the fingers of a surgeon. Amazing how he did this and that and this again getting my info from one phone to the other, and no I couldnt have done it myself....fun to watch...and no charge. Many thanks.

With 3 employees on the floor, and 1 other customer in the store, I was told I couldnt be helped with transferring my data. Anothet appointment had to be made, so Ill be back for a 4th time just to get a,new phone I shouldve been able to purchase, and use 4 months ago. This location S.U.C.K.S

Terrible visit for a simple matter to upgrade to new phone. Took ~2hrs for 20min job. Blamed troubles on staff from previous visit. Would stop work on my job to serve a new customer. Given all of the uncertainty and sensing an untrained staff person, I left to do the data migration, etc. myself. I still do not think that the old phone number was transferred to new phone. The manager was indifferent bordering on rude. I have been going to this store for over 10 years but never again. Tempted to contact executive complaints.

My current phone is not holding a charge so I thought I would stopped in to check out phones. I was received by no one, there was several VZ associates there talking to other customers but no one acknowledged my presence, I thought then there must be a sign-in process I missed and searched for it but nothing, looked at all the phone displays but again still no acknowledgement of my presence, there was probably 15 customers and 6-7 VZ associates but nothing! After 30 minutes left! They used to have great customer service, whats going on!!

August 2020: This store has just re-opened--it closed due to Covid-19. Under challenging circumstances, they provided excellent service. My phone was kaput. They set me up for a free replacement, which arrived the next day. They actually apologized that it took so long. They no longer offer loaner phones, since some people kept them or broke them. I had to remove the SIM card from my old phone and put it in the new one, which is not easy, but Eric, the salesman, had shown me how, with a SIM extractor tool (aka a paperclip or the back of an earring). Please allow extra time when you go in, since only two people or so can go into the store now--you line up outside. The salespeople cant sit down! I really feel for them, and appreciate how hard and how well they are working. My new phone is terrific. Im very grateful that this Verizon store is open again!

Your employees should never be trained to say There is nothing I can do. I am a verizon customer with a verizon phone/account. I went into this verizon store because of a phone experiencing ghost touch. Most workers were literally sitting around doing nothing, and so the door greeter scoffed and said okay I can help you which immediately translated to I dont want to do this He asked for my phone number and name and when I gave my name rather than my fathers he would no longer help me. There is nothing I can do, he said. He said I could call my father, but I then pointed out that my phone would not work due to the ghost touch. When I asked to use an available phone, he said I cannot use one. Weird, right, a phone store where there are no phones to use. Verizon, what employee is trained to turn a current and returning customer away saying There is nothing I can do?

Came in to get a new phone. Guy at the front said, Name to me like a Neanderthal. Then had to wait 15 minutes to pick up my new phone. Guy tells me I could have just said I was picking up and it would have been faster. My daughter also set off the alarm. So I guess Karma for the customer service.

While other cell phone companies promise reliable service, I have found Verizon wireless to be consistent with good service. This store has sales people that actually care about the customer. While there may be a delay in service, because the store is busy, I find that most of the time, one is able to get into and out the store in a reasonable amount of time.

Excellent customer service by an employee named Charles. He was friendly, informative, accommodating to my needs and walked me through how to work the phone and helped me understand the phone plan. He was so patient when transfering my data from one phone to the next. The store itself is in a great and convenient location and the design of the store reminds me of a lounge. All it needed was a DJ and a bar. Great experience, friendly workers.

Guardian is the man. He knew what he was doing and was very expeditious. Two other reps tried to help us only to disappear after we told them what we were looking to do. Guardian owned the problem and was a leader. These situations can be very difficult as customer service is frequently inconsistent. I cannot recommend this Verizon store per se, but if you read this review make sure you call ahead and ask for Guardian and book a time to meet with him ahead of time.

Worst customer service ever! Run away from this place. Came in yesterday and no one even said hi or welcome and I was standing in front of all employees. I had to go the manager and asked if someone was available as the place only had a few customers. She was not apologetic and did not seem to care much and said someone will help me shortly. She needs some serious training! I have a business account with 5 lines, and because of this I am considering leaving VZ. I wanted to buy two phones but left the place as I felt they did not care much about my business.

I visited this center this past weekend, and I had only positive experience. The waiting time was just 10-15 mins, and the service was really great. I was told about everything by an assistant, and breakdown of monthly payment and all other charges was provided in a very informative and clear fashion. No problems at all!

Horrible experience from the minute my friend and I walked through the door. No one greeted us at the door- fine, they might of been busy. However we ended up waiting for 20 minutes just to get someone to take our name down and wouldnt really answer any general questions we had. He said it would be about 20 minutes, try an 45 minutes to an hour, just for them to tell us they didnt have the specfic item in stock. This could of all been avoided had maybe there had been someone specfically assigned to finding store items. ON TOP of that the customer service was just overall rude and not helpful. When we mentioned the apple store we were told we would get the same response, wrong. Apple store was way more busy, but there we were greeted at the door, everyone was helpful great attitude, and we were in and out in 30 mins. I dont know about the other locations, but might be worth the drive. Bethesda location NO GOOD.

I was very pleasantly-surprised by this place. Ive avoided wireless stores like the plague for years because theyre crowded, staffed by folks who clearly dont want to be there, and generally depressing.Today I came in for the first time to sign up for a prepaid plan, expecting it to be packed because it was a Sunday evening. There definitely were a good number of people there. However, the employees were all extremely friendly and professional. They were frequently checking on the other people waiting to be seen, and as a result of their attention all the customers seemed to be in remarkably good spirits.So yeah, here I am, surprising myself by writing a glowing review for a wireless store. The only suggestion Id make is that a water cooler or something might be nice. Way to go!

Verizon has what you want but they are not efficient at getting it to you. I have to believe they could streamline the process of buying phones but there seems to be a lot of delays built in to the system (maybe even some extra time to try to sell accessories). At any rate, this particular location does brisk business. Its not usually very busy at least (perhaps due to its location). They usually have at least one of the newest of ever phone and tablet model to check out (but sometimes literally just the one which can be annoying if its popular). They also stock a lot of smart home products which is handy if you want to check those out. Lots of stuff to see but plenty of sales stuff and waiting going on (probably the same as everywhere else, I guess).

First bad review Unfortunately,*Excuse my English, it is not my first language.Thursday December 1 2016,Phone didnt charge, went to this store to ask for help, they tried spraying the charging port with air, clean it, tried a different working charger, routine actions, nothing helped. then (off course) the new phone option. as far for what i knew, i had insurance so that should have been for no charge thanks to insurance coverage, that will be $332. he said. me : i have insurance he no, this phone is not covered me: yes it is, i already used it twice., oh.. he said thats why you dont have insurance.. shocked. nobody ever told me that i lost my insurance coverage, not to mention the 2 times i did used it were because of technical problems with the phone itself not due to regular use. told everything to the guy, he goes to talk to the manager, nothing he can do, pretends to try one last thing on the computer wasting my time, me angry furious for that answer, there is nothing we can do, sorry he tells me, left the store before exploded inside. after a short research online found out that my phone can be charged with wireless, went to the mall got the charger so im good for now that was $50.As i see it Verizon had lost me on 2 acts:1) canceling insurance without notice.2) rushing to take out of my pocket more than $300 and didnt offer the wireless charger instead which saved me more than $250.thats my experience with this store, hope yours will be a little nicer.thank you for reading my review

Ive been waiting at the verizon store for an hour and Ive only moved up 2 spots on the list. The customer service reps seem to have no consciousness that there are so many people waiting and are chatting with customers about life. For the amount of customers waiting I would expect more people working at the store. I asked one of the employees of this is typical for a Saturday and she said yes. Based on the other reviews I would assume that is correct. This store really is not well managed.

When you enter, youre put on either the Tech Support or Customer Service queue and they call your name when an employee is ready to help you. The wait is not usually that bad. My experiences with the employees have been mixed. They dont have enough of the latest smartphones available in the demo area -- only one or two Droid Xs in the whole store when the phone first launched.

Sorry to say this, but the people were rude, so rude and unhelpful that I changed carriers. I am a senior citizen and a little slow at all this technology, that does not mean I should be meant to feel uneducated or marginalized.The worst part was when I accidentally picked up a set of keys that were not mine, I informed the staff. Next thing I knew was a employee came STORMING up to me and grabbed the keys out of my hand.No thankyou for finding them, just treated as if I was to stupid to know that they were his keys on the counter which looked like mine. Wish zero stars was an option. After a very short wait, an employee named Gardian provided me with the worst service I’ve ever received. Check my review history, I’ve never left one. Anyways, I’d recommend dealing directly with Apple/ Samsung/ whoever builds your device so as to avoid having to work with Gardian. In fact, I’d recommend repeatedly jumping on hot coals while being beat by vintage Barry Bonds with an aluminum bat if it will allow you to avoid being helped by Gardian.

Grossly incompetent and dangerous too: My phone had battery problems when I walked in and when I left all my photos were erased by the technician as she fumbled through tearing my phone apart. Even though it was a battery problem, she never took the battery out or suggested that I get a new battery. And then, when the manager arrived, I was told that Verizon no longer supported the hardware. Not a battery to be had for it in any of their stores. I could travel 10 miles to get a new one and maybe it would work. II had to waste 1.5 hours of my time to find out something I should have been told at the very start of my service visit. Verizon Bethesda gives a whole new meaning to Service from Hell.

If you must buy a phone from Verizon choose another location! The manager at this location could not be more rude. I went in for a free trade in for which I received an email from Verizon. I was told this promotion was only for an unspecified short time. I missed it by 10 days. Having to deal with the fact there was no notification of a cut off date (the manager acknowledged this info was in house only) I was in a situation where instead of zero i would have pay an additional $300 to trade in and upgrade my phone. The nasty manager made matters worse and instead of being a professional he essentially said to take it or leave it.Go to another Verizon store or go to Apple but not the Wisconsin Ave location.

DO NOT BUY YOUR PHONE HERE. I purchased a phonr from them last week and there is a recall on the note 7. They are required by Verizon to replace it, give me a gift card, and if i choose a different device give me the price difference. The recall is serious peoples phones are exploding. Anyway they gave me the run around told me to contact samsung which told me the retailer I purchased it from was responsible for replacing it which makes sense. Called them back they told me i had to go through a corporate Verizon store. Contacted corporate and they kept them on hold 45 minutes Checking their stock and never came back to the phone. These people are complete SKETCH. Do not buy your phone from them as they do nor follow Verizon policy and act like they can do whatever they want! Their customer service is AWFUL both in store and on the phone

This store made my problems worse instead of fixing them. I came in with a malfunctioning phone, and due to errors this store made in my account it took 10 days to get a replacement device. Dont go here. They were very inconsiderate and tried to blame me for their mistakes, it took the corporate Verizon staff to put them in their place and fix they problem they created.
