I needed storage for my grandmothers estate and I spoke with a nice young lady named Rickeda I sure hope I spelled her name right. She was a great help during my time of distress. Her customer service was above and beyond and I truly appreciate it. Public Storage has great pricing and clean.

I was very satisfied with the help I received from a young lady. She was very patient with me and answered many of my questions. I was also told about the app, and all the ways I can access my unit contact free.

I spoke with a young lady by the name of Rekita (I hope I’m spelling it correctly, forgive me if I did not). She was amazing and extremely friendly. I had a few questions about my account and she was able to explain everything I needed to know without me feeling like I was pestering her.

This place has recently changed management. I have been a customer here for over three years. Until the new management took over the best thing that I could say is that my stuff was still there every time I visited. The new manager is actually focused on customer service and is usually on site. Its not cheap but it isnt as painful now that the manager actually cares if you are happy.

Rickeda is awesome, she was very helpful with her customer service! She answered all my questions and concerns. With me being kinda in a hurry she got me in and out in a timely manner!

FRAUD Alert!!! I cleared out my unit, they told me I had settled the bill and then immediately (7 days later) sent a bill to a debt collector for $247 but then notified me through the debt collector that they would be willing to settle for half that amount. I had auto pay set up on the account to cover all the bills. If it had been a legit claim they could have put it on my monthly statement. I never received any notification of this bill or what it is for. This is a completely unacceptable business practice.

I have dealt with Francine several times at Public Storage. From our first encounter I have been impressed with her friendly and professional manner. She is very encouraging and very understanding. Visited the location looking for an ideal storage salution. Although i did not secure a unit at the time i was impressed with the service of the associate (Francine) i believe. She was well versed in company policy, and showed great attention to detail. The facilty appered to be newly renovated and well kept. Francine and the other staff are doing a great job. Looking forward to locking down a unit very soon.

This location did a bait and switch as well as charged me 2 late fees in a 2 weeks period for a 5x5 unit. I have been unsuccessful in reaching the property manager who has yet to return my calls. As a result, I was obligated to address my concerns to an incompetent and contradicting associate who wasn’t interested in rectifying the issue even after I presented him with an email confirmation supporting my claim. The associate was very condescending and dismissive.

We just had a fantastic experience at Public Storage on Butler Road in Bethesda, MD. The online registration & payment process was very easy, and when we arrived, Rafael, at the front desk was very helpful. He explained how to use the access keypad, showed us where our unit was located & how to lock and unlock the unit. The unit itself was clean and bright, and the perfect size for all of our belongings. Thanks again, to Rafael for everything! I highly recommend this location.

Rafael at the Public Storage Facility (Butler Road/Bethesda) knows how to make the customer experience stress-free and pleasant. What a gentleman. He was very patient and answered all my questions. He showed me the different size units and their locations, helped me decide what supplies I needed and gave me great advice. The facility is very conveniently located in the Friendship Heights area.

I had a great experience moving and storing my items at the 5423 Butler Road, Bethesda, MD 20816 location and moving out. The place is kept very clean, the timings are very convenient in the mornings, evenings and weekends. The manager is very courteous, friendly and efficient. If I ever need a place to store my things again, I will definitely choose Public Storage at this location, without a moments hesitation! All in all, a very pleasant experience.

BEWARE!! RESERVATIONS ARE VIRTUALLY MEANINGLESS!! I have been a Public Storage customer for 16 years (huge mistake!). I recently made a reservation for a storage unit at their Bethesda, MD location as part of my relocation from Atlanta to DC. I reserved the unit several weeks prior to my move. The local personnel at the facility called me several times prior to my move in date of July 16 to confirm and reconfirm that I still wanted the unit. I always spoke to them confirming I still wanted it. We agreed that I would stop by the day before my move in date to sign the paperwork. On July 15th I get a call from the site manager, Rafael, asking me if a I still wanted the unit. I responded “yes”. He said well we don’t have the unit, we rented it to someone else. I was shocked to say the least. My movers were arriving the next day and I no longer had a place to store my belongings. How could this happen? Rafael provided a couple of different explanations. First, I was told that a new employee had rented it to a walk-in customer and did not check first to see if the unit had previously been reserved. I blamed this mistake on Rafael’s inadequate training of his new employee. After I suggested that he should have better trained the employee Rafael told me that actually reservations don’t reserve the unit, only the price. So think this through. I have a reserved price of around $300 per month but no storage unit. How does that make any sense? What good is a guaranteed price without a storage unit. He tried to point this out to me in their fine print but it was totally irrelevant. Then he blamed it on the company policy to ignore reservations. After clearly seeing I couldn’t get anywhere that made sense with Rafael, he referred me to the district manager, Ehdaa Musaitif. I called Ms. Musaitif and left a voicemail to please call me. It’s been several days and I have not received a response from her. I had reserved a 10 x 20 unit. Rafael said he did have a 10x10 unit he could rent me for the same price as the 10 x 20 unit. I guess this is where the guaranteed price comes in. You can rent a much smaller unit for the price of the larger unit you thought you had reserved. In the end I decided to rent from Cube Smart. They have great reviews and their pricing was better than Public Storage. Of course most companies have good reviews so long as everything goes well. It’s when there’s a problem that you get to truly see the real culture of a company. In the case of Public Storage, it’s not one that I’ll ever do business with again. I just don’t trust them.

Francis was quick to get rental paper work done and helpful with my questions. Great location, clean and I like being able to unload under a covered area but wish with dollies were more accessible outside of office hours. Other than that, I was very pleased with my experience.My check out was very efficient as I closed out my storage unit. Christie, Francis and Katie always were pleasant and professional. Renting a unit from them was a good experience for me.

I had a great experience here. I pulled in with my giant truck and I was grateful when the manager was helpful about parking it and how best to access the unit Id rented. I also bought some supplies, and was easily able to return the mattress covers Id bought but ended up not needing ... if youre considering this place, go for it!

I got a great labor day 50% discount on the unit I reserved. I got the best deal in all stoage units in the area. I am using the storage to store some boxes as I move from out of state, and find an apartment. Rafaels service was exelent. He took me to the unit prior to signing my contract and made sure that I had enough space in the ordered unit, that the lock was working fine, and that the unit was clean and ready for use. The place is clean, safe and sell all types of moving appliances. Would highly recommend!!!

Somehow we managed to pick the busiest day of the year to finally take our stuff to a new home!
