Sold us a lemon false names and false information James Williams and Frederick are not good sales man make sure you take machanic with and make sure all paperwork is ligite the falsified information on our contract now we have a vehicle thats been in the shop about a yr now out of two years of finance. Now we stuck on back pay with no car and in massive debt... I do not recommend this place to anyone n if u go make sure pls take your machanic to thoroughly inspect and check vehicle

This place is just a huge scam! My husband bought a jeep from off of their lot with a warranty that they sold him But a day later we were having problems with the engine light coming on took it back since it was under warranty several times each time they gave it back the light would always come back on then we ended up having to pay an arm and a leg got a garage to fix the problem because they could not. One of the times we dropped his Jeep off to have the problem fixed they gave us a different car off of their lot to drive which was also having problems with his headlights I did a quick Google search and it popped up that it was a factory recall so why did they not do anything about this other vehicle getting it fixed? We actually had to pay a garage to fix the engine light problem when it came back on the last time because all of a sudden they told my husband in order for him to the finance to get the jeep they actually had to remove the warrantee off of it because supposedly the bank wouldn’t cover it for him. We have had this jeep for about three years now it’s nothing but a headache when he drives over 50 to 60 miles an hour constantly shakes we couldn’t figure out this problem and we’ve had it to several different garages. Then he went to go get it inspected this year and that’s when we found out the bigger problem that there is a whole bunch of rust throughout the entire under body of the jeep and instead of them fixing it before selling it all they did was sand it down And paint over it. So now my husband has a GP still paying on that he can’t drive that just sit in our driveway cannot wait to be done paying on this headache because we will be getting rid of it right away!! I tell everybody I know not to go to steel city auto and not to do business with them they’re shady they are scammers they only care about making money for themselves if you have a family do not purchase a vehicle from them because it most likely will not be safe!!

One of the best car buying experiences Ive ever had. The salesmen are super friendly and welcoming and very helpful. I had the pleasure to buy with Chris and he was incredibly nice and made me feel comfortable. Cars are affordable and clean. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable monthly payment with low money down.

Interesting reading many glowing reviews, not sure if fake or not. I stopped by this place to check out a 2006 4Runner they have had on their lot for awhile (6 months or so). The older Gentlemen who I first spoke with was pretty down to earth. Upon going over the vehicle it was apparent it was in some sort of front end accident, and still had paint damage. When I opened the tailgate a very large volume of water came spilling out and it continued to drain for about 3-4 minutes (no joke). What made it even funnier was the access panel on the inside of the tailgate was missing.. and there was a hole punched in the plastic liner which was where the water was pooling behind. Moving the tailgate produced more water.. so buyer beware on that 4runner it was still draining when I left it. I went to speak with the office to get a general ballpark on price.. I was then told what market value was and that truck was very well priced. Even though that was $2k over NADA and even more when using dealer book value. Manager was pretty stand offish when I pointed this out. And this was not factoring in front end damage and kiddie pool tailgate issue.Summary.. buyer beware with these guys 2 stars because the initial salesman I spoke with seemed pretty on the level.. but I cant say I would bother going back.

I called to inquire about some cars that I was looking for and a gentleman named Efrain was able to help me and tell me what they had on the lot and the prices. I asked about trading a car in that I still owed money on and he said they would accept the trade in and that he would personally make sure I got the most money I could for the car. When I didn’t find something that I liked on their lot he offered me to look around and if I found something I liked to contact him and he would go out and purchase it for me so that he can help me out through my buying process. It’s sales people like Efrain that give me confidence when shopping for cars that I won’t be taken advantage of and that he is there to meet my needs. I highly recommend this dealership and from personal experience I recommend working with Efrain as I feel he has your best interest while you go through your car search.

DO NOT buy no cars from Steel City-Auto i had a Nissan Rogue for 3 months and the transmission blew on me ‼️‼️‼️ they told me they’d help me out and never got back in touch with me 😂 i had that car for 3 months... 3‼️‼️‼️ now I’m stuck paying a car off that i can’t even drive 😣 and at that i went to go talk to the boss man and dude couldn’t even see me, had his new employee take me outside to tell me he’s “busy” when he clearly wasn’t and that since this is and “old” incident he can’t do nothing for me even though I’ve been in there multiple times and they told me they were just waiting on the “thumbs up” so they can release me out the contract....which never happened!! I asked for them to just pay for the towing back to my house and they won’t even do that! They also tried to get me to put down for ANOTHER car instead of helping me out with one car m already in debt with! I’m 21 living on my own no car and Now im in extra debt i don’t need to be in!!! What’s the point of a 6 month warranty and it does nothing for me

The team was pretty straight forward and honest. The no BS approach to car sales. They answered my questions and were very accommodating. It was definitely not the usual car buying experience, as it was unusually good.

So I must say buying a car from them was easiest car buying process I ever had!! I purchased a vehicle from them almost 2 1/2 weeks ago for my fiancé. The salesman who sold me the car Jose was very nice, honest, & welcoming! We had our very active 15 month old son with us as well & that didn’t seem to bother him at all lol. There was no beating around the bush, the exact numbers he told I would need to put down on the car was exactly what was needed! The car we bought is in VERY good condition with low miles, & we got it for a great price. My fiancé loves her new car & we will definitely be back again.

When looking at the car I was interested in, the check engine light was on. My sale was contingent upon them fixing the problem . I was told the problem was due to the vehicle having a very low amount of fuel and that it triggered the check engine light to come on . I was also told if the problem happens again to let them know . The very next day the light came back on. To be safe I took it to my own mechanic that specializes in BMW for a second opinion . I was told it was the knock sensor and that the sensor was reset 6 times. At that point I did not trust them and definitely not their mechanic.That being said, I wasn’t going to take it back to them for the repair. Total was 550 for the knock sensor to be replaced, I called to let them know exactly what happened and why I went somewhere else . I was told to send a copy of my bill and he would “see what he could do “ I did as requested and never heard another word . I sent another email and still nothing. That’s poor customer service . I didn’t ask for reimbursement, he offered ..then can’t email me back. I would not recommend buying a car there and if you do definately take it to your own mechanic .

My situation like others was not the best. I called and spoke with Kevin and he sounded confident that he could help me and get me a car. I needed one so bad, he was quick and kind and needless to say he got me a car and I dont feel horrible for getting it b/c its cheaper than my phone bill. Jeff checked out my car when I called about something rattling, he drove it, heard it, and fixed it the next day. I am appreciative for my experience with these gentlemen and would suggest them to anyone. As a matter of fact my step dad bought my sister a car from them right after we got mine. These guys did the bait and switch. Now they keep calling me to try and sell me a car that is way out of my price range. I was not happy when I showed up to my apointment to test drive a car, after driving 45 minutes, to find out that they sold it right after I made my apointment and no one called to inform me of this.

Understood the terms and conditions of the vehicle . Also presented on the car with papers stated guaranteed to pass inspection. Price looked right. Paid money in and found out my 2 year lease was EXTENDED to 5 and the car not only failed inspection, but the amount of damage that came with the car was not listen in the car fax. Was told after we pirchased the car there was a problem with the gas gage. We do not know how much gas is in the car when it goes past half a tank. To fix everything on this car is 3 times the sticker value. They,do not inspect their cars when they get them in. Our car had a defective motor mount that crushed my drivers steering fluid which,newrly caused two,accidents! They,claimed they had someone look it over, more like look,over it. Car is not worth the price tag it has now became and now a burden on us and family that have to help us get around now! Car in undrivable and only had ot for 3 months. Save your money. Shop around! Sales rep refuses to get in touch with me and i have called and addressed seveeal issues timetime and time again. Credit acceptance is a joke and nonstop harassing phone calls to use their payment matrix!

I’m highly disappointed in my purchase from them and will now only buy from big name dealerships because it seems like these small independent dealerships just want to rip you off
