The Deluxe grilled cheese is the best sandwich you will find anywhere!! Thick cut Vermont cheddar, bacon and tomato line the inside of the bread giving fresh, wholesome flavor that you rarely find! Coffee is out of this world too! Plenty of comfy indoor seating as well.

My favorite place for coffee! The drinks are always incredible, as well as the service. They really can keep a line moving in there! The Grilled Cheese Deluxe and Breakfast sandwich are my favorites for food.

I havent been here in years as I moved away from the area, but their drinks are just as good as I remember! Iced vanilla chai & a spinach salad with dried cranberries, apple, & cucumber (with lemon vinaigrette).

One of my favorite stops in Beverly! Pretty consistent. Dedicated staff, they really keep the lines moving. I tend to favor the sandwiches.

The sandwiches are good and the coffee is alright (unless you like super sweet coffee). The person at the register overheard my conversation about wanting a chocolate chip cookie but there wasnt any in the case. After I ordered the cashier asked if we would like a cookie and mentioned that a batch was going to come out of the oven within minutes and assured us that they would be done by the time our sandwiches were done. We said no at first but then after being asked 2 more time we said sure. We took our order to go since we live minutes down the street and discovered after leaving that there was no cookie.

Atomic Cafe has been a mainstay of mine when Im up in the Boston area. I remember back when it was just a little hole in the wall shop where the Bohemians would show up. It was great. Its still good but a little bit more commercial now. Im not a fan of that, but I guess thats the price of success. One thing has definitely improved was the pastries. They found someone who makes incredible scones. The baristas are pretty solid too.

First visit. Fast service on a rainy day, but I’d expect more attention to detail in making coffee for takeout and grinding coffee for home from a coffee shop in the center of town. Upon arrival, the great selection of beans built up my expectations but my coffee to-go was “soupy”. I did not enjoy it at all unfortunately. Staff seemed “crusty”, reading the body language and tone when I placed my order. Perhaps an off-day, all good. I specified the grind for home was for pour over, sadly it was too coarse.

Atomic has been my go-to for friend and business meetups in Beverly for many years. Theres plenty of seating, a relaxed atmosphere, and a wide range of food and drink options. I love their iced chai and Joppa Flat!

Unless you are a regular, service is very cold and and borderlines on rude. Just was at the new location in Salem and its the same thing. Bonus at the Salem location, you get to watch the food server handle all the garbage and then touch your food with the same gloves, very appetizing! Check out Brew Box down the street if youre in Salem great service, great food.

Really my favorite place to unwind and enjoy my tea. It does feel the the friendliest place in town.

Excellent cafe! Stayed here for a few hours with a friend to do homework, they have a lot of seating. I ordered a latte & the grilled cheese deluxe and they were delicious! I didnt get my grilled cheese for a long time, only to find out that they accidentally gave my order to someone else. The staff was great however and refunded my entire order. Ill absolutely be coming back here soon.

I have been going to Atomic Cafe for 10+ years. A great cup of coffee, and an even better place to catch up with friends (pre-pandemic). Cant wait to get back to this lovely piece of paradise soon!

Nice little spot, seems to be very popular with locals; I saw everyone from parents with kids and toddlers to college students. Lots of people meeting to hang out or just solo studying or working. I came here to do some remote work while in town, and had no problems connecting to Wi-Fi or losing the connection. You can sit at a window seat (which are stools, so prepare your back muscles!) and the businesses across the street are very charming, so its a nice picture. I liked the atmosphere enough to bring my husband back in the evening for beers and a couple more hours of work, and we both enjoyed the 2000s punk rock they played (at least on the day I was there). I also like that they have a water dispenser in the corner for patrons to get water from.I just got a plain latte and, later, a local beer. The beer was good, I didnt care much for the coffee. I dont consider myself a coffee connoisseur by any means, so take that with a grain of salt. I just found it a bit sour, but then again, maybe thats how people like their coffee here, as another local spot I tried had the same problem, to my taste buds. I think I probably would have liked it better had I tried one of the tasty-sounding house syrups. On a positive note, I thought the portion was very generous for a medium, and a good value, especially for a house-made coffee.

Love their takeaway options and cans of Nitro and Regular Cold Brew. Delicious coffee and awesome staff.

Im a simple girl - a coffee and toasted bagel with cream cheese from Atomic makes me happy every time....but so do their coffee cakes, donuts and sandwiches - never had anything I didnt like from here!

Grew up with the Atomic Cafe. Really glad its still around and still making amazing coffee!

I think I’m pretty biased having been a regular at the old atomic location. Been here three times and each time it’s nothing to really get excited about. It looks like a Starbucks, the staff feels like a Starbucks. Not much of the local gem it used to be that’s for sure. The upside is the amount of space they now have, but they took all the personality away.

The best place in Beverly to buy freshly roasted coffee to take home, ground or not. Also a great place for a quick espresso or to get some work done for a longer stint—lots of seating and a chilled atmosphere. Theres even beer!

Delicious coffee! Only giving 4 stars because there is no changing table in the bathroom and the chairs are not comfortable. The have metal bars that dont let my butt or hips fit comfortably.

TBH: I am a former employee from over 8 years ago and have worked at the Marblehead and Beverly locations. Now I live just a few blocks away from the Beverly location and I still enjoy the drinks, food, and atmosphere. Its great to see the business grow and Im always so happy to get to know the staff over the years. Keep up the good work!

The staff are pleasant and efficient. Their sandwiches are good and they have gluten free bread which is important to me. I had the gluten free wrap on my sandwich and had no gluten intolerance issues afterwards so I would definitely go there again. The drink menu includes wine, beer, ciders and tea and coffee drinks.

Quirky Turkey is where its at! Good quality food and excellent coffee. Always busy but you never have to wait long. Worth the stop if youre in the Beverly area. Hip place!

Always friendly service. I enjoy the Vanilla Latte Tea, yum. Ive had the yogurt parfait with jam, very good. I also had a turkey sandwhich, so good. A little pricey but a nice treat. Great place to meet a friend and catch up. Lots of seating inside and I like the sidewalk seating in the warmer weather. Lap top friendly too, with outlets for charging.

Love atomic cafe! I have been going here since their first location on Cabot, now that they have a much bigger space across the street I feel that they are able to truly deliver! The coffee is incredible and I also love their iced green tea. Their lunch options are delicious and the bacon egg and cheese in a wrap is a great option for breakfast. Breakfast is served until 11am, just so you know! They also have a nice selection of baked goods. Since they take pride in what they serve...Just a warning, do not go here if you are planning on being on time to work!

Can be a bit busy at times but service has never suffered and Ive always been able to find a comfortable place to sit. Great place to go with family or have a business related meeting.

I love their nitro! It takes a while to pour and is only offered in small cups but its delicious! You have to drink it fairly quickly so it doesnt go flat

Went in to get a gift certificate and two cup of hot chocolate. Very long wait but delicious hot beverage. And the recipient of the gift loved it. Decent amount of tables and wifi so local consumers can spend time socializing or working.

Get here early if this is your “office” for the day. Gets very crowded because it the best place in town for coffee. Food is good too.

I am not a coffee person, but I am a tea, smoothie and great atmosphere person. The tea and smoothies are great! The swinger smoothie would have to be my favorite. The sandwiches are original and delicious. The pastries always appear to be fresh and I have been told they are very tasty. The service is always friendly and fast. The atmosphere reminds me of a toned down Friendly Toast (Portsmouth and Cambridge). Atomic has a two very large windows that provide a great view of Cabot street and is very cozy during a snow storm. My only complaint would be that it is not large enough and is always crowded. Enjoy.

Our go-to for great coffee and pastries. We often get packs of coffee beans from here and grind them at home... they will also grind them for you. They roast all of their beans in-house.

What a funky and great cafe. I was able ro order quickly and get my food right away. It is mostly American fair, so the usual comforts. Lots of age ranges there and lots of seating. Bathrooms are wonderfully gender neutral. Ill definitely be going back.I am cane dependent and face a hard time walking. I was so pleasantly surprised that the friendly staff accommodated me and brought my food over to me. Not having to walk more than I did made wanted to go back as someone who has a hard time walking makes the decision to have this as a new regular spot easy.
