Real Problem Solvers at fair prices. AND I have tested the staff with my fleet. Plow trucks, motorhome, trailers, tractor, side by side, Cadillac, Mercedes Benz, and even the Maserati. (Which takes 12 quarts of synthetic oil and you have to change it with the auto running).

I love this car repair shop. My son is a student at Ferris State and his Jeep Wrangler was having alignment issues. I live three hours away so I needed a place that I could trust and that would be fair and honest with my sons repair. They were great. Repaired run great now, so courteous and the cost was way less than I expected!!!.

Fast tire repair. But either didnt reinstall the hubcap or installed it improperly as it was missing. Also asked to make sure the repairman could drive a stick and he only was learning to drive one he said. A few stalls. 😊

They told me that they could not do my alinmeali because there was a bolt sized in a bushing but I still had to pay and they wanted to charge me to replace a bunch of parts. So I took it home to do the work myself just to find they lied about it. Nothing was sized

The service was great. We worked together for 20 minutes figuring out what tires would work best for my 66 Fury and when we agreed, I ordered them. Two days later I went to pick them up and they said they could do better on the price. I already had them in my truck and they still gave me a better deal. I will be back for sure.

We were in the area from out of town and scheduled to leave the next day. Then a major trip stopping engine issue happened. One call to Rachel and she started the ball rolling. In less than five hours Rachael and the DP Tire service team had my truck ready to roll including finding the part and having it rushed to their shop. Returning home on Christmas Day, we stopped to help a stranded motorist with a flat tire, a young mother traveling with five children (all under the age of 6). My husband removed the flat tire and soon realized the spare would not fit, the lug pattern was different. This was turning out to be a little more complicated than just changing a flat. We let her know that we would take the flat tire and go into Big Rapids with the hopes of finding something open. As we went past the big box stores (closed); we started to make some phone calls. DP Tire offered an emergency number; we called and left a message. The Owners returned our call and offered to meet us and within thirty minutes, they were opening up their store. We explained the situation and without being asked they graciously donated a tire (mounted and balanced) to this young woman. We were on our way back to her within ten minutes. We realized that we just witnessed the true meaning of Christmas. Thank you again (from Us and the Stranded Motorist). We would recommend DP Tire, they are truly good people.

DP tire saved our vacation, shortly after we began a 13 hour drive to get to our destination. They went over and above, fixing a failure of a tire and serviced our other tires just 24 hours after we had our tires checked and serviced at a chain tire store in Grand Rapids. They provided the type of service and attention to detail that is becoming more and more hard to find these days. I highly recommend DP Tire! Also, they were as fast as a pit crew! Thanks again!!

Car battery was dead and needed it replaced as soon as possible. I brought my car in near their closing time. Instead of them waiting and putting it off for the next day, they replaced my battery right away for me and helped me out! Service was super fast and they helped me out with a smile, I cant recommend this place enough!

First off, I would put zero stars if I could. I came into the shop after reviewing each car center in Big Rapids mainly because being a college student, I can see mechanic ripping off students. I picked this shop because of the online reviews. Well, hopefully I put a dent into the average stars. I went in with an SUV that was wobbly while driving at the speeds of 35 mph up to 80 mph. I had thought I needed an alignment because I have no car background and Im basic. They resulted in telling me that in order to perform the alignment they would have to replace the bushing of the lower control arm and it would cost up to 650 dollars for the entire operation. I took my car back and waited for the money source to confirm the transaction, my mom. She declined and I further looked for some alternate options. I then took it into a Chevy dealership (in which Im leaving a 5-star rating for the ACTUAL help they provided). The Chevy dealership took my car, looked at the lower portion of the car, told me that my tires were the main issue, rotated them, and boom. No more wobble. I highly doubt the Car Professionals at Tire and Car Care noticed the ACTUAL issues with my car or they truly enjoy ripping off students. If you need an oil change, sure, go to DP tire care, but if you need anything more then that, find an ACTUAL professional.

Does your life feel out of balance? Stop by here, they will get you back in alignment and remove any shakes you may feel. Just be careful not to fall asleep on the amazing couches in the waiting room!

Tires rotated and balanced. Friendly staff but whole visit was too long... 1 1/2 hours! Had to go back because one of the weights was missing & it affected the steering. They found & fixed the problem. Happy now. ☺

I have had all good experiences with DP Tire. The services are great, the people are great and they do an efficient job.

Everyone was very helpful when we got a huge piece of metal stuck in our truck tire while pulling a fifth wheel. We came to the shop at 5 pm, just before closing. They not only changed the tire but stayed late to assist us. They had us back on the road in no time. They even ordered new tires for us and had them ready for pickup the following day.

Got the tire on. In 45 minutes. After helping two customers who came in after me. But, they got the ONE tire on. Friendly, but too talkative. I had to remind them my vehicle was finished after 10 minutes of it sitting back outside the shop.

Quoted me $500 for a wheel bearing repair. Called around to two other shops in town who both quoted me around $250. Obviously noticed Im young and female and thought I wouldnt question the cost. When I called back, assertive, they lowered the cost to less than the original quote for just the part, not including labor, which is just dishonest in the first place. All staff refer to you as dear as if they care about more than assuming superiority over you. Sad.

700.00+ in front end parts/labor and the car still pulls to one side

Made an appointment for 11am (on my lunch) to get my snow tires put on before more snow falls. Showed up, they were unavailable to get me in on time for me to make it back to work for my hour lunch.I suggest Walmart.

I was traveling in my motorhome from the Western UP to Grand Rapids to visit my brother and I was having troubles with it shaking really bad. I had no appt., just a phone call asking if I could have them look at it and it was 90 degrees outside and a busy 4th of July week. They were busy, but as soon as I got there, they pulled it around back, jacked it up outside, balanced the tires, and I left within an hour. Very impressive! If anyone ever has vehicle trouble, I HIGHLY recommend DP Tire Service in Big Rapids. Very friendly, professional employees and reasonable prices! Thank you all that helped me get back on the road!! You made the rest of my vacation so much safer and I drove back home without a shake in the tire...

They deserve a ZERO STAR, COMPLETE HORRIBLE SERVICE!! I called them asking for the tire alignment price and was quoted $45. Took the car in, after waiting an hour and a half, was told that it would cost $325!! They did an inspection, which wasnt asked for and never did the alignment. Complete waste of time and loss of wages!! These are INCOMPETENT IMBECILES!! Dont waste your time!!

Heard horror stories about this place, they make profit on people not knowing. even with knwinkn this I was in a pinch and needed a patch put in a tire, It took about 5 hours, and I ended up with a cheep plug in it that leaks. Go somewhere else that knows how to do tires correctly.

This is all over Poor customer service. The amount of time the manager has spent trying to justify why the cheap aftermarket lugnut is as good as the mopar factory was overwhelming......let’s upset a customer over a few bucks.........I took my brand new Jeep Wrangler to them with less than 1000 miles and got a level kit and new rims. When I picked up my Jeep they had thrown out the boxes to my new rims which was disappointing as I like to use them to store rims when I change from season to season. To my surprise they didn’t not give me my factory lugnuts back. I didn’t catch that until a couple a weeks ago when I had my mechanic change my rims back to factory. When I called DP they were apologetic and stated that they had no problem replacing the lugnuts. I requested the same factory ones since it was a new Jeep. They said that they were going to order from the local Jeep dealer and gave her my vin. A week later I heard nothing and called them. I was told she ordered them, they arrived, and then they were missing. A couple days later she called back to say they were in. I picked up today and they are aftermarket that sell for $1.99 at auto zone. When I asked the guy ifthese were factory (as they didn’t say Mopar) his response was “that’s what she told me”. The factory mopar ones (ones that they lost are $8 a piece). When I called back to discuss the fact that they were aftermarket, I was told by the gal that I was dealing with that aftermarket was all the she was allowed to buy as my replacements. So I then chatted with manager who kept pleading the case that they were the same product. If they are the same product why didn’t they simply order and replace with MOPAR (factory) product that they lost? Very simply because of cost. It would cost me over $170 to replace what they lost but they feel justified in giving me cheap auto zone ones that retail for $40. So be careful if you go there. Make sure you get what you pay for. I have never had any issues at Belle tire in Mt Pleasanf and I should have went there this time but DP was close to work. Never again for this girl. So happy to have Belle Tire coming to BR.

I quoted a price offline that they met and beat on a set of 4 truck tires that saved me 150.00 without making me feel like I had to get into an oak table negotiation. Good experience and when I need new tires, Ill be going back!
