Went to this Dealership of which was 45 minutes away as they were the only ones with the Jeep my wife wanted in the color she wanted. Was very impressed on how friendly the staff was and was extremely impressed on how much they worked to get us the Jeep she wanted at the price she could afford. Specially since we left the Dealership after test driving the jeep falling in love with it, and finding out it was out of our reach. 2 days later we get a Call from Josh telling us they worked out a deal and can get us the Jeep at the price we wanted. We will Definitely be back for our next new vehicle purchase and Definitely recommend this Dealership to all my Friends and Family.
I stopped in for an oil change and a tire rotation on my 2020 Jeep Wrangler that I purchased here new (from Phil Currie) and decided to take a stroll around the previously owned section while the work was completed. A salesman (Josh Bellgowan) came right out to ask if I needed any help. He answered all of the questions I had and offered up complete transparency about each vehicle! We ended up buying one that he suggested I take a look at that wasnt even on my radar. Josh was amazing at having the details completed and getting the keys in my hands to drive it home! I have nothing but good things to say about Robb G at Betten Baker. Unlike many salesman, Robb was never pushy nor tried to get me to settle on anything just to make a sale. He took his time and risked losing me to another dealership but he was so interested in making sure i found what i wanted, whether it was today, or in this case months later. I appreciate the idea he wasnt just trying to make a few bucks and didnt try to sell me whatever was in stock. Made an appointment for service. Arrived on time, was immediately told You are going to have to wait for me to finish another customer. So I waited, listening to political news in waiting room. Finally as an afterthought I was acknowledged. She said do you have a ride? Apparently between the time I scheduled the appointment and the time that I arrived for the appointment, a whole bunch of police cruisers needed service so I was bumped to the very bottom of the barrel. So my one hour appointment turned into a drop off on a Friday without me knowing in advance. And then I was looked at as being unreasonable. I dont recommend a single woman to ever step foot on that property, you will not be treated properly, even if youre dealing with a woman who works there (just scroll through the reviews and decide for yourself). Extremely disappointed.
Worked with a very friendly car salesman. However, the buyer was pretty cold and tough. He nitpicked in order to justify slapping me with a lowball offer for my car even though theres currently a huge demand for used cars and there were few used car in their inventory. I left that dealership pretty unhappy.

I could’ve got better customer service in an out house in Louisiana. Couldn’t spare 120 seconds to stick a dipstick in my transmission to help me get back on the road. Could let me rent it borrow it or help me. 120 seconds. Never will I ever advise anyone to go there unless you wanna stand and wait 10 minutes to be told no.

We have been servicing our Challenger with Betten Baker in Big Rapids since it was new. Oil Changes, Maintenance, all had been good until we brought it in for an actual issue. They couldnt diagnose the complaint the first time, nor did they have loaners when we called and asked to schedule. We brought it back again, without a loaner of course, and said they couldnt diagnose it but ordered parts for the concern that they thought would fix it. This was months and months ago and we havent gotten a single call saying that the part was in. We call parts and service and get nothing but voicemail and no call back. This issue was warranty and well within the 3/36k, but now its been so long that the vehicle is almost out of warranty and still the problem persists to the point the vehicle isnt safe to drive. We are now trailering it an hour away to have it serviced before the warranty runs out at another dealer who scheduled us with a loaner and actually answers the phone. We will no longer be servicing any of our vehicles or family members vehicles with Betten Baker in Big Rapids. Such a disappointing experience. Stay clear of this CDJR dealer, make the drive to somewhere else that actually wants to help you.

Luke Smigiel helped me into a truck peak COVID. Everybody did what was necessary to meet our governors unnecessary regulations during the shutdown to make it come together as i needed a new daily driver immediately. I had 1 issue with the truck the night I took it home before I signed and the shop fixed it right up (they installed a faulty part before i purchased it which they should have noticed) My advice is to use Mopar parts to prevent issues like this arising again, so 1 point lost for the shop and for that reason - I have my truck serviced elsewhere.
My wife and I recently moved to the Canadian Lakes area. We have always purchased our new Chryslers from our long time Detroit area dealer that has always provided us with a great price and great service. We stopped by the Betten Baker Chrysler store to look at a color and interior on the Jeep we wanted, to make sure it was what we wanted. That way we could go visit our son and purchase from our old dealer. The store manager Raleigh, was courteous and pulled one up for us to look at and got us a brochure and helped answer any of our questions. He knew we were buying at another store, yet he went above and beyond to help us knowing that. In the end we asked him if he could beat their price, he was happy to do so to try to help us get the best price. In the end we decided to buy through him because he did such a great job he was not pushy and only provided great customer service even though he thought he wasn’t getting a sale. We have found our new store!

Going in and asking for an oil change, and then being charged $44 which I was told was standard charge when an oil change is requested, and then includes a tire rotation watch I didnt request or need, was not a good experience. In addition, dropping off the car left a lot to be desired and giving me confidence that they even knew who I was. I decided to be specific about who I was and make sure they had my phone number. It was not a good experience and I will not be back.
Bought a vehicle here 2 years ago. stopped in the other morning thinking about trading off my vehicle walked around looking for a car i might like not one person even acknowledged I was there walked into the building and stood for approximately 10 minutes still no one even acknowledge I was there so I do not recommend Baker for a place to buy a vehicle the service has gone downhill here
I should have read the reviews before I went to this dealership. My salesperson for my 2019 Jeep Compass was great. The service at this facility is substandard.
I purchased a pickup from them in 2015. Not due any of their fault I had a mechanical issue shortly after purchasing the truck. The dealership did any amazing job with helping to resolve my issue over the last two years. They got Chrysler to buy back my truck and, replace it with a new pickup truck. If not for the work of everyone at the dealership especially the general manager Derrick Meyer Im sure I would have never gotten this completed. They have earned my business for years to come.

We were in the market for a 3500 diesel, dually. I had exact specifications and wouldnt compromise much. However, it was the end of 2016 so those models werent as easy to come by. However our salesman, Chris, went the extra mile to seal the deal. After several no goes, they found us the truck and went to get it. We have also used the sales department for our van and have had good experiences so far.
Had a lease we were buying out. After a few attempts, finally were told to bring truck in for odometer reading, which our credit union needed. Went in 2-27-2019 and got passed to the girl to go get it. She was great. I mentioned that I needed to get this faxed to our credit union and she said she would do it. I provided her with the contact and number. The next day credit union said they only received the cover page. Ok, so I called Betten and asked for Josh in finance and he was in a meeting. Told them I need to get a call back right away to finalize our completing the purchase with the credit union. Credit union didnt receive the whole fax. Told my husband the situation and he too called. Then I got a call back from a Riley or Raleigh and he started the call with our phones have been blowing up with calls from you. Whats the problem, or what do you need. Something very derogatory. I started telling him the issue, and stopped and said, really, thats how you talk to people? We just need the fax to get to credit union to finalize our purchase. He said something like they are out of it since we are now dealing with Chrysler. Fine, I get that. He said I need to deal with my credit union for the purchase. And I get that, which we were. But I also got irate and said the credit union needs to receive the final odometer reading. He said that wasnt his responsibility. Okay, but the girl the day before said she would send it and the CU didnt receive it. This guy was so out of line from the first sentence out of his mouth. We are hard working people who leased this awesome truck back 12-12-2015 from the previous owners (MacDonald) and decided to buy it. We wanted to get things done. I considered ourselves still customers, clients...whatever. i was born and raised in Big Rapids. We always purchase locally. We will never again consider this dealership. Seriously lacking in people skills and customer service, at least this guy is. Definitely lost a future customer. We are Dodge people. Next purchase, a Dodge Journey. Keep up the outstanding service.

Drove about an hour to get there to possibly buy a vehicle, took a bit to get with a sales man I had spoken with on the phone .The battery was dead when we tried to start it to take test drive, coolant reservoir was empty and had to put in before test drive, asked sales man how long vehicle had been there, 2 1/2 months was answer, vehicle was filthy, had cigarette ashes on passenger seat, had not been washed nor vacuumed, took for test drive, was 4 wheel drive and one or both of CV joints was bad, had exhaust leak. Brought vehicle back and told sales man that I was not interested and he asked if I would make an offer, I have owned a similar vehicle for 15 yrs and am familiar with value and repair costs. I made an offer accordingly and was turned down which was ok because it would have been a hassle and time consuming to get it cleaned up and the work done on it.Biggest disappointment was that the vehicle was not presented well which speaks volumes about the dealership.I will not buy a vehicle here now or in the future nor will I advise anyone else to either.
After poor experiences with several other dealers, driving an hour away to look at a truck that was already sold, it was refreshing that when we called Naomi and Raleigh, right away they were upfront that it had been sold that day. Asked what we were looking for. Gave all the details down to the color, seating, options including gear or torque. They shopped around the state and only found a few vehicles that had all the requirements. 1st dealer wouldnt give it up. 2nd dealer took 5 days to return the call. We had pricing quoted, with rebates better than the other dealers in the area that wanted just to get us in the door. We never even met them until the day we picked up the truck and it was everything we were looking for. We really appreciated their willingness to work thru it with us over the phone and not waste several hours of drive time back and forth. Great experience!

Terrible Communication - their voicemail doesnt work and sales/service departments do not call back no matter how a message is left for Service and/or sales. I used to have my vehicle serviced here and we were interested in buying a new vehicle from this dealership. Will be going to a different Jeep dealership from now on...I definitely will not recommend this dealership!

Ive only dealt with the service department here. Each time I bring in my cars for a check up, or for repairs, I never feel like Im being taken advantage of. They straight up tell you what the issue is and if they can think of a way that you could spend less money to get your car fixed they will tell you. These guys arent out to fill their pockets - they have their customers in mind first. I very highly recommend their service department.

Make sure you get the vehicle checked out before you buy it. Go to another dealer or shop. I paid $16000 for a truck and have had nothing but issues with it. Its nearly impossible to ever get a call back from anyone. I had to call back each and every time to get anyone to actually talk to me and I was told well its an older vehicle... Im not putting anyone down or placing blame, its simply been horribly frustrating and I feel like there is no concern once the vehicle is sold. Beware of what you are buying....

I was treated very well by service manager Mike.Now as Paul Harvey would say; heres the rest of the story. After running diagnostics I was informed that my 2012 Ram diesel with 75,000 miles needed a new catalyst with gasket plus labor = $3500.Five times my CEL has come on all under warranty. The last time it happened in mid April I was informed that the previous repair was not done correctly. Too bad for me, Chrysler customer service says they wont help at all!!! My five years are up - the heck with the truckMy advice, NEVER buy a Ram diesel. After sale service stinks and Chrysler doesnt care. I will attempt to inform everyone that I can about my experience.

I would give them no stars if I could. My husband and purchase a 2017 Ram 1500 (new) in May 2018. We dealt with Josh Borlarsky. We told him multiple times that we want a truck to haul our 5 th wheel that weights almost 9000 pounds. After a couple of days, Josh said he could get a Ram 1500 that would tow our trailer. When we went to pick it up it was a short box. Both my husband and myself asked if the box length was going to be a problem. Josh said as long as you have a slinding hitch well be fine.We take the truck to our body guy to have a stray in bed liner put in and have our hitch instilled. The body called me to tell me that we cant use the hitch because the axel is 4 inches closer to the cab then a Ford or Chevy. Also we needs a different hitch because the sliding hitch is not recommend by Reese. So we decide to order all the parts from Camping World. We take the truck and trailer to Camping World for instillation and we find out the the truck transmission will only hual 7900 pounds max. My husband called to talk to Josh to see what he could do. My husband was told that Josh was on vacation but they would call him and have him come in and call us. Josh did come in and get our message. No CALL Back. It has been over a month since all this happen and we have never received a call back form him or any one at MacDonald. I will never pay another vehicle from them and I have told everyone I know about this ordeal and tell them not to buy a vehicle from them. I would stay away from this car dealership!!!!Customer service doesnt exist after the sale!!!!! Buyers beware.

Worst customer service ever. After the sale they could care less if your happy with your purchase. They lied to us from the start, you can never get a hold of the sales manager, and they even lied to the Dodge company on the reason I ended up with a car that was not what it was supposed to be.

I used to like coming to this dealership to get my oil changes now that it has switched I hate it. I was there for 30 minutes while they changed my oil, then I noticed my car was done and waiting outside. It took them 20 minutes just to finally call me over and tell me I have a coolant leak and they would have to schedule it for another day. No thanks! My business will be taken elsewhere from now on.

I have trouble scheduling appointments here because they dont answer phone calls or emails. I have had to call 5 times before I got someone to answer so I could schedule an appointment. I also sent 4 emails with their online appointment inquiry that I never received a response to. I have also called, been put on hold, and then been hung up on. I would rather drive an hour up to a dealership in Cadillac than go through the hassle of getting an appointment here.

I went in for an alignment for my car, I was told that I needed a whole new rear end, went back with a insurance adjuster and was told by THEIR machcanic that all I needed was a alignment. They were the ones that told me I needed to replace everything in the rear end.
Service Representative was very considerate to us and was a great help.
The rating of a place is hard, I Used to love Dodge and drive a Dodge, but would never go here . sales seems to be nice, but u have to remember that is how they make there money, And some of the guys in the back just seem to know it all and wont listen to u and what is going with u, No compassion at all.
