I would give this store no stars if possible.My wife went into the Big Rapids Boost store to buy another phone to replace the one she had because the screen was flaking out. Her phone still worked though. She decided on a phone and asked the store associate if this replacement phone would work at our house because we live in the county. The store associate said yes. (By the way, the replacement phone is a Motorola G Stylus.) Anyway, My wife purchased the phone and left. She barely made it out of town and the phone lost service. My wife went back to the Store to exchange the phone for another 45 minutes after purchasing the phone. The store Associate said that they dont give money back or exchange phones. I have been a Boost customer for over 20 years. I called Boost. Boost said it is Their Policy to return or exchange phones within 7 days of purchase. My wife went back into the store and informed them of Boost Mobiles policy. The store associate said they dont have to honor any policy made by Boost Mobile.I was on the phone 3 separate times, spanning the time of over an hour while my wife was waiting outside of the Boost store trying to get this resolved. All three times the supervisor with Boost Mobile sent me off to some answering machine with Motorola when I asked them to call the Big Rapids, Mi Boost Mobile store.My wife went to Walmart and buy another boost phone that will work after spending over $275 already at the Boost Store, so she can do her online shopping business. As soon as I get the chance, Im cancelling my service with Boost Mobile and going to Verizon.
Had questions about how boost was improving the tower service for better coverage in locations that you were not able to use cell service before the representative was very nice answered all my questions
I was at this location today ( 9/23/2021) with a few questions about their upcoming upgrades to the towers and 5 G . The lady working was the most rude and unprofessional person I have ever met! She would talk over me and still not answer my questions. I have been a customer of this specific location for a very long time and have never been treated so poorly in all my life. I have worked in retail management for over 20 years and would never go into any business with an attitude! She proceeded to tell me I was being rude and told me I needed to get the hell out! I said really for asking questions?! I am completely shocked at this employees customer service. The previous manager ( Travis) was such a pleasant guy and super helpful ! I will be avoiding this store if I choose to keep my family plan with Boost Mobile at all !

Matt was so helpful, efficient, and friendly. He was able to give me all the advice needed, answer all of my questions, and went out of his way to be extremely thorough. I had been with Verizon for four years and did not receive nearly the customer service he provided in one encounter. I was very happy and satisfied with the experience.

Im a disabled senior that desperately needed an affordable way to get internet. Travis was amazingly helpful, walked me thru the process on the phone. My new device came today and connected beautifully !!!!! Thanks so much Travis. I called to thank him, but it was his day off, but I talked to Matt. He was wonderful too and answered a few more questions that I had. Highly recommend this store and these 2 fantastic guys !!!!

Ive always had mediocre-at-best interactions with phone companies and since Virgin Mobile was sold to Boost I was not excited to drive 1.5 hours to get a sim card because that was the closest location.Lucky for me, these guys were great. Travis hooked me up, got our Pixels working on their network, and made sure everything worked before I made the trip home. He and his other associate wore masks, were polite, patient, and understanding. He didnt try to sell me on services that I didnt need, but still gave me options. Great experience.
Rude to customers in front of us and wanted to charge us $35 for new sims after we just bought our phones a month ago. Very displeased with the unprofessional behavior on both days we went to try to get these issues resolved.

Not helpful. Tried to sell a phone for nearly 200 that I could go online and buy from the boost site for 49. 3plus years of having active service paying on time monthly and never see the appreciation. No discounts no nothing. Suppose to be a upgrade with phones and yet have to pay arm and leg.
CANNOT POST WITH ZERO STARS bigmatt ripped my 15 year old daughter off yesterday for $70. The only thing he had permission to do is sell her a PHONE and transfer her service to the new phone on our family plan. He told my daughter he was giving her a charger (she ended up being charged $34.99) charged her $7 for insurance and put it on, took her OFF my family plan so her new bill for HER LINE was $107 a month, changed MY WHOLE PLAN to 3 lines instead of 4, charged her $25 for activating the phone threw an extra sim card in (at least that was free), told her she may need it, and sent her out the door with a phone that was NOT AT ALL functional. Called Boost took 4 hours to get the device up and running, but AS SOON as she paid the $146 total and handed her a receipt ALL SALES ARE FINAL NO REFUNDS. CALLED THE MANAGER TODAY HE TOLD ME NO REFUNDS N HUNG UP ON ME! THANKS TRAVIS I GOT UR NUMBER! DO NOT GO TO THESE SCAM ARTISTS THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!

I bought a phone here yesterday. Told Big Matt I wanted a phone less than 150. I was due for an upgrade so phone was only going to be like 70. He racked my total back up to 146 dollars by adding insurance I didnt even ask for, nor did he, added a 35 dollar charger which I had 3 type Cs, and charged me a 25 dollar device setup fee. The device did not work in my location. We spent a good 4 to 6 hours on the phone with customer service and figured out why it didnt work. Je set me on a 5 g network with only 4 g towers in my area and he had the ability to check what towers would work at my location. Will not be returning because they refuse to refund me. I make 6 dollars an hour and that extra 70 I worked hard for. I hope to be switching carriers. I loved Boost service. It always worked great for me. But regardless of how good my plan is or how good it works, I REALLY hope to switch once my month of service is up. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO BIG RAPIDS BOOST EVER! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! My mother would love to take this to court so yall better FIX THIS NOW! Posted about this on Facebook, here, and telling everyone I know.

Everyone from the store to the tech support and etc, keep giving me the run around about my phone not acting right my speaker is messing up n I dont receive some of my calls but I receive my voicemail from the call thati dont hear ring, I pay my insurance every n Im never late paying my bill I been loyal customer for years, Im moving on to another phone provider, as soon as my credit runs out now I know what some of your ex customers are talking about meaning you all are bad business!
I called ahead of time and all of my questions were answered aver the phone and then when I came in the 1 staff member was fully capable of handling my new phone purchase at the same time as answering questions from other customers and he made no mistakes, all in all it was the best boost mobile visit I’ve had.

My grandmother(86) could not figure out what was wrong with her phone. Call corporate they told her to go to her local boost store, she did(big rapids) they told her how to swipe/clean her phone but she didnt understand.....she is 86 its hard for her to understand things like that. He tells her she contractually cant help her. She tells him she is not leaving till someone helps her....he called the cops on her. Great job Boost....wai to help an ederly lady out!!!

HORRIBLE new owners that dont care about their staff and especially not their customers!! I worked there for a long time and when these new owners took over (PHP WIRELESS...AKA PAY AND GO WIRELESS), I could not in good conscience continue to work there and rip off the customers! I worked for the customers, not for those HORRIBLE people!

Very shady location, I use this and Mt Pleasant location and everytime I am at this location its always a way different fee or some sort of shadiness especially if you need just help and arent going to purchase anything from them. At MT pleasant location I was charged 15$ for sim card but Big Rapids it was $30? Amongst other shadiness as in the store while witnessing the blonde guy telling another lady she had to purchase a charger to charge her phone to do factory reset... Than was trying to convince them of everyeverything else to purchase phone there. . Like shady stuff..i wish I had video of their demeanor because its hard to explain everything here.. Read all the reviews its not just me calling out there shadiness...

Stay Clear. They don’t make good on their products and don’t care about your problems with their phones. Bought a new LG phone in December. Problems from day one with the Bluetooth connections. Found the problem was Bluetooth didn’t work if WiFi was on. (Really!!). They refused to replace 2 week old phone. Sent it to LG for repair who found it had Liquid Damage and was therefore out of warranty. Cook Cellular refused to accept that they sold me a defective (liquid damaged) phone and suggested I must have taken it in the bathroom when I showered. They have my money and now don’t care!!

The owner stated last month my problem was I had 3g phone and home was in a 4g area so I needed to upgrade so I did. This was after tower upgraded two days later. Now tower upgraded again two days later no service. So now what do I need no response.

When updating apps it charges your debit card 99 cents here and there. To update you must have money on your card. So because my prepaid card is empty and all my apps are free nothing is updating. Frustrating!
