Attempted to purchase 410 stainless steel for blacksmithing that they had listed on their website. When I called they said they don’t stock 410 steel and I asked for a similar type of steel and was told they don’t know what would be similar, but that for stainless steel they only had 304. Called back to ask if they had any tool steel in stock and was immediately hung up on. Frustrated, I called back a third time to just ask to get the 304 steel and was told I needed atleast a 12 foot piece which was fine. I got home, cut my metal and stuck a 8 inch piece in my forge and noticed the metal wasn’t getting hot. When I picked up the piece of metal it melted and spilled onto the wood floor of my shed. They sold me aluminum and told me it was steel. Only giving a second star because the price wasn’t too bad if I was given the correct item.
