Sadly, the Eureka store has now closed.We always appreciated the knowledge and expertise of the staff. They taught me how to tie a canoe to the top of a car 40 years ago and they shared the pros and cons of various tents last week.

The best place in this area for camping gear. Very knowledgeable people who dont just know about the products but also enjoy camping too. We would recommend this business to anyone.

Ive been buying hear from here since the seventies. Always great quality and a knowledgeable staff to answer any questions. The only reason I dinged them a star is the additional accessories is getting thin. Might be the crazy times with the pandemic.

I was very impressed with our visit to Johnson Outdoors in Binghamton. The salesman was very knowledgeable and talked through the entire tent line highlighting pros and cons. They have a large selection of new, factory second, and refurbished tents. Definitely worth your while if youre looking for an economical option. We walked out with a great deal on a discontinued tent model. Very excited to see how it performs!

This one of my favorite Tent Suppliers near Binghamton NY. They have great variety of Tents, Screen Houses, Sleeping Bags and other Camping Equipment. Also Eureka Tent Outlet Sell Old Town Kayaks, Canoes and a few other brand names. My Father started buying Tents there in early 1970, then started buying my own Tents in 1981. They have great Quality Tents with very reasonable prices. There extremely helpful and very knowledgeable, ask for Bill in the Outlet Store, he can answer most of Camping questions. They sell 3 Seasons Tent for Family Camping, Backpacking or 4 Season Tents for Winter Camping.

I have gone back again and again over the years to meet my camping needs. I am always completely happy with both the products I purchase and the help I receive.

I have used Eureka for more than 20 years! I still have a timberland tent I purchased while I was in the Army stationed in Stutgart,Germany in 1987 through 1991! Yes I am old!!! I bought a vestabule for it when I returned as I live within 30 miles of the store. In about 1997 I bought a 6 person tent to take my growing family camping. Then in 2012 I bought 3 back packs, three 1 person solo tents. sleeping bags, water filter system to equip my sons and I to do some trail hiking while they are in college and I can still keep up with them! So this is a store that has carried me through a large portion of my lifes outdoor adventures, and always dry I might add! I do wish they would get a more lets say trained staff, there have been a couple times during the busy season I have gone there and they have had very young people that lack knowledge of the equipment working the store. There is at least one guy that works there that is very knowledgeable and they call him the master fitter, {if you buy one of the back packs he can and will custom fit it to your body}, but you almost have to set up an appointment with him or call ahead to be sure he is working to get his services. If they added more store staff with his caliper they would get an EXCELLENT.
