The manager/owners daughter of the store was very rude.I drove an hour and forty minutes to visit the store. I brought my 6 month old puppy with me and since it was very hot out I did not want to leave her in the car. So I asked an employee in the store if I could carry the dog while I shopped and she nicely said that was no problem as long as I was able to carry her.The manager then said no that, even if I was going to carry the dog, it was going to be a problem. So she started to antagonize me and even her own employee.After I complied regarding the dog, I quickly did my shopping as I drove far out of my way to visit the store. I was conversing with the employee while I was shopping and I guess the manager didnt like what we were discussing and told the employee and me, if you dont like it you can leave.Ive spent a lot of money in this store as well as some of my friends who Ive referred. Its not right to treat customers this way, but more importantly you cant treat your employees this way as they are the lifeblood of your business.The store itself is nice and has a lot to offer, but I was very upset with the managers attitude, she was very unprofessional and not friendly at all. This is not good for the business at all. Its hard to imagine this business can retain any employees if this is how the manager acts.*****Edit after owner response*******Please explain to me why the blonde employee left after I left and left you alone in the store??Even based on your response below its obvious to everyone now that you are rude and very unprofessional.
Had been eyeballing Leather Bound online & finally got a chance to stop through. Loved their selections of leather goods, boots, hats and et al. I wound up dropping 1/2 a stack and still don’t have everything I wanted. Needless to say they will be seeing me again. Shout to Faith for her excellent customer service!

Got help as soon as I walked in store. Found the items I wanted to buy with the assistance of a blonde haired lady. She was great. When it came time to pay she was with another customer. No problem there’s a red haired lady at the cash register sitting down. I asked for assistance several times and was ignored. I finally raised my voice. She looked at me and told me to give her a minute and went back to sitting! I don’t understand why she wouldn’t help me to pay for my merchandise. Everyone always says shop local which is what I was trying to do. I left store went to Amazon and saved 10 bucks. One lady was excellent the other acted as if she didn’t want my business. Sad

I have been passing this store for many yrs. I mean many. A few days after purchasing my first sled. I needed a leather coat. Leather Bound came straight to mind without thought.I think I bought the best leather jacket in the store. At a price that was very reasonable. The service was excellent.I might go back today for boots or a new helmet.Thanks Leather Bound....
Decent selection but dont expect to try on any helmets, face coverings, glasses ect (even while wearing face coverings.) Saw a few riders walk out who were there to buy helmets but were not allowed to try them on. The leather jacket selection was really nice. I wanted to buy a leather face cover but I was told I cant try any of them on.

Great place! Been going here for years to buy belts and a few pairs of slippers for the wife. Stopped in about a month and a half ago to get a pair of good work boots, surprisingly they had my size. Normally I need to buy boots online. There was a problem after I had them for a bit (not the fault of the store). They were great and helped me get the issue fixed with the manufacturer. Moving forward I will always go here for work boots and would recommend others support this local business.

It was an awful experience. I will no longer patronize this store. The merchandise I was returning was unopened. The receipt should have indicated no returns as is the consumer policy. COVID-19 safety does not prohibit a company from exchanges. If that were the case you would not allow customers to try on items.

Horrible communication. I ordered a helmet online (from Australia). Over 2 weeks later I hadnt seen or heard anything (other than my order confirmation email) so I emailed asking for tracking info. They replied 6 days later saying they had not even received the helmet from their vendor yet before they could ship it to me internationally. I asked them to cancel my order. That was over 2 days ago and I still havent heard back. I work in customer support and this whole expeerience is an example of what NOT to do.

Yesterday, I went to Wilsons Leather for a nice smooth jacket and was very disappointed. Most of the textures were rugged and some were damaged. Just about all of the side pockets had ugly brass zippers and many of the mens had fur collars.The selections at Leather Bound were outstanding as was the service. I would highly recommend this company to anyone seeking high quality leather goods.
Lied to me about an in stock item. Drove 3 hours round trip for an attitude.they tried to bait and switch me. I call milwaukee leather to let them know. They have mentioned they know this happens often and they will take action.Sent owner an email and fb message.he didnt respond to even offer an explanation.

I want to give a shout out to Gary at Leather Bound. I called up needing a swatch of leather as an object lesson on marriage (what God has Joined together let no man tear apart...) I was using a piece of leather to symbolize what happens when a man and woman are married, they become One Flesh according to Genesis 2:24 - the become one. The leather represents the flesh referred to in this scripture.I called up the store and told Gary what I wanted. He pointed me to the bin of scrap pieces he had. They were priced from $2.99 - $9.99. I picked out the ones I wanted then went to the counter. I was telling Gary what I wanted the pieces of leather for. As I was explaining it to him, he took the items I had, reached down behind the counter and handed me a free piece of leather and said, here, take this for free! I was blown away.Gary is a perfect example of the real kind of people there are in Jersey. He is a generous man!For me not being a customer and he treated me that nice, I made up my mind that I would definitely purchase something from this store very soon.

Great leather products, gloves, hats, jackets, vests belts, you name it they have it. Also have a nice selection or motorcycle gear like helmets, boots, sunglasses jewelery and a wide array of patches too.
So we placed an order, waited was excited. Received it so was like cool so the man gets home to open it all excited right. Well went through it and got to the helmet and noticed not the one we ordered. So we make sure we picked the correct one and we did well then we noticed 2 helmets have the exact same title name. However part numbers are different so call and ask for an exchange to get the one we ordered and we already waited the 1 week for the first order so we got the incorrect back in the mail, and then they give me my new tracking number so it is another week to wait so we just suck it up and wait. So I get a message saying its delv so I go look for it and its not here and I dig into it and found out it got shipped to someone else. Yet again call and all we get is I am sorry. So we wait to see when we can get the helmet well the person who has it took a week to get it mailed out. We really try to be patient and then we still havent gotten it and now no stock for it and have to wait on this other person to get mailed out and now we have to wait yet another 5 to 7 business days to hopefully get it. So no one can do anything and the owner calls and says he wants to make it right and offered to refund the helmet cost to us as we did buy clothing. We get a call and then where told we could get maybe 15 percent back or like 25 percent off next order. Well, we wont order again if we are told one thing and then turn around and do something else. We havent even gotten our helmet yet and we are now feed up and very let down on how this is being handled.

Great selection! All down hill after that. Purchased a vest which I had to return due to a pocket defect. Received a store credit because they didnt have another one in my size. Waited 4 weeks and still no vest. Went today to either get another vest or get my money back. I found another vest which was $16 more, asked him to work with me a little due to my inconvenience, he reluctantly agreed to a $5 discount and then proceeded to charge me full price. I told him I didnt like the way he did business and I would not be back, to which he replied good luck finding all your stuff. Make sure you check your merchandise before purchasing because their customer service sucks.

Stopped here during a chilly bike ride to check it out and warm myself up. The people here were very nice and didnt push to make a sale. They were more than willing to help me out and answer my questions. I asked about their chaps and overpants and without hesitation they helped me find what I needed. The gentlemen who helped fit me for chaps had found my size and made some altercations to the belt and pant legs and within 10 minutes he was done and I was checking out. He even gave me the sale price the day before the sale started to save me some money.Overall I would recommend any motorcyclist to stop by and check the place out. Its a very welcoming family run business that has some decent inventory.

I have been riding for over 40 years I purchase a jacket in June of 2018 I was in a serious car accident in August of 2018 so I can not ride due to the head injury. The tags are still on the jacket I went back to see if they would buy the jacket back from me and the guy had an attitude he did not want to put it back in stock he was a complete jerk probably never rode a bike in his life all I wanted to do is try to find someone who could use the jacket since I cant so mush for helping a brother out. Found EXACTLY what I wanted
Terrible! Do not shop here! They only want to screw you out of money, with no care for quality. They advertised free shipping on orders over $75. I spent $120 on a leather vest. When it arrived I noticed right away that it didnt look at all like the one pictured online. The collar was also badly bent and creased out of shape. The sizing chart was wrong and it didnt fit. They made me pay for the return shipping. And then when they received it, they deducted shipping costs from the return (which was originally free). So I got less than what I paid for the item back when I returned it. It takes them two weeks to process the return and issue a refund. Go to LeatherUp, way better customer service!

Unusually good selection, but most of it is off brand or knock offs. They cater mostly to the harley crowd who dont really care about protection so much as being seen in the SHU (standard harley uniform)Prices are good though. I got my daughter a Bando style riding jacket for 169, but when i tried on some padded textile jackets, they all had irregular fits.
