This shop was very unique and very interesting. I loved the atmosphere. This was obviously my first time going to this location. I took my teenager who was very into the crystals, the incense & really just the awe of this place. I would love to go back and spend the entire day. 👍🏼

I absolutely love this place! Moldavite is my best friend and I refuse to buy it or any other crystals anywhere else now. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the energy is amazing. When I was first getting into crystals and all, I went there and ever since then, I won’t go anywhere else when before I was the one to go in every metaphysical store i could find. I highly recommend going, especially if you’re looking for moldavite or other crystals.

Lovely place. Very hard to find stores like this in Alabama. The employees are always nice and there is a comfortable atmosphere. Looks like they upgraded the drink lobby, new counter looks nice !

Pretty cool place. Ive wanted to come here for many years. I think when I first saw pictures that may have had more items for sale so I think I just had it in my mind that I expected there to be more product to purchase. It had a very good feeling about the place and the house was beautiful. I wanted to buy something but the cashier had to keep getting up to make coffee, I had to leave so I chose to put back what I was going to buy and left. I may come back another time when Im able to.

The staff and patrons here were very nice very welcoming very helpful. This is one of the loveliest experiences I have ever had with a shop. To the staff and owner thank you so much for making me feel so welcome and answering all my questions I will be back every time Im in town. You can really feel the love in this shop.

Ive been coming here for 10 years. Its an Occult & Brarista Shop. Some things are a tad expensive but most are very reasonable. The energy is very inviting. Only downside would be parking which isnt their fault

Love this place. I am the incense queen and I can get all I need from here. Love the atmosphere. You can get coffee and tea. The owner makes a tea called Happy Goddess tea and it makes me feel amazing.

I love the smell of incense and herbs and the smell hits you as soon as you walk in. The cashier was very sweet! I was worried the prices would be very high as being a business so close to Birmingham but they were not bad at all. I forgot to get some herbs but will get some and plan on trying on of their many drinks on my next visit. Love this place!(Side note: There is parking on the side and seating on the porch area.)

This place has always had such a great vibe and atmosphere. My mom loves it and always stops by when going in the city/near the Vulcan. (Usually she buys some incense and/or candles, but will buy some other items for spells sometimes too.)I get a wave of nostalgia being there.Also last time we came, I got myself a milkshake, gotta say, absolutely loved it.The beverages yall make are so good.

Service is definitely snappy. The menu is a little hard to read, too many flavors and addons cause the menu to look a little crowded. Tried to get a picture of it, but they wouldnt let me. Three coffee orders took around 20 minutes to get done. Tried the Creme Brulee and Espresso Patronum and they tasted the same but fairly good. Overall, a little mediocre but a cute little shop. Really geared towards a specific crowd though and just a coffee shop to everyone else.

Cute and quaint little shop with a sweet lil coffee nook. Lots of cool knick knacks, incense, gems, tarot cards, terrific smelling sage bundles etc. A tad pricey for what Im used to, but then Im from California so I tend to pay less for the same types of items. Overall the shop was really charming and the people who run it were were kind and helpful. The next time Im in the Birmingham area Ill stop by again as I loved the elaborate altar setups and was more than happy to bless them with a little cash, which will bless me in turn.

The lounge is roomy with comfortable seating & offers a great place to center your mind and spirit w calming music and a nice selection of board games & a chess set. Have some basic crystals and gemstones, incense, smudge bundles, & mass-produced knickknacks (figurines, trinkets, flags,...). Small selection of jewelry & clothing which may be handmade or mass-produced, Im not sure. Modest book section. They have spell packs and candles. They seem to offer a variety of services: tarot card readings, cleansings, classes, ...Because Birmingham already has The Golden Temple for generic mass-market junk, I would love to see this place enrich their inventory with more authentic, one-of-a-kind, antique, rare, and.... exciting items, books, ingredients, wearables, and other occult-related curations.

This is my favorite place to spend a Saturday in. The staff are ALWAYS welcoming and very eager to help if you ask. I know some people like to be left be when getting items for their practice. They are respectful of this and I think that is why some people believe they are not helpful. Ask and you shall receive. This is the only place I will shop for my herbs, teas, candles, and other odds and ends. I cannot sing enough praises of Mitchell and his staff ✨

This shop is fantastic! The staff is knowledgeable and helpful plus the owner if there frequently for more in depth questions. They have a HUGE assortment of herbs, tons of crystals in different styles, sizes and price points BUT follow their IG page to know when they restock cause they sell out fast! They also carry all sorts of jewelry, incense, candles, books, statues and lots more; I mean the list really does go on and on. Did I mention they sell tea and coffee too?I really can not say enough about how amazing this shop is; honestly it is my absolute favorite place to go, whether Im shopping for something or just looking around or only wanting to soak up the atmosphere and have a cup of coffee or calming tea. First time in yesterday and I loved it!! Sadly the coffee shop was closed, but the rest of the store was so interesting and well-organized! Got a bundle of white sage and two candles.

MY Wife and I visited to get some sage in order to smudge our home. The employees were extremely nice and everything was well labeled/priced. The store was also occuping an absolutely beautiful building in Southside Birmingham.

This is one of my favorite haunts in the Birmingham area. Beautiful location, incredible staff, always great coffee and great conversation to be had. They have a wide selection of books, products, and services and stay up to date on their social media with inventory and events. Great folks that love the community and great experience every time.

Me and my girlfriend met at this place for our first date, then we banged in the parking lot for six hours, the atmosphere was outstanding. Will definitely be going back here for anniversaries and such. Highly recommend. Coffees pretty good.

Drove 2 hours to visit this place, and I have to say I was very disappointed with our experience. The coffee was good, and the place definitely looks cool, but the vibe was very uncomfortable and uninviting. We were hardly spoken to by staff.. and nothing about how to order coffee was explained to us until we asked.. the guy told us to go place our order with the older lady, and when we did we were promptly told to move back and give her some room. I have to say she was very rude, and just had an extremely cold demeanor. My husband tried to have a conversation with her and she just blatantly ignored him, and then told him the total for our coffees, plus didnt reply to any of the ten times we said thank you. It was just very weird and off putting.. especially for people from out of town that were visiting for the first time. Oh well.. you live you learn.

Because I am in Indiana I typically I get a phone reading by Mitchell who is amazing, but today I scheduled with Mitchell, but got Stevie.. I wasn’t upset at all! Super good reading and answered my question was patient and understood my situation well with humor. I really enjoyed my reading with Stevie I would recommend either Mitchell or Stevie definitely will continue to call back!

Mitch is always who I turn to for advice. Spiritual, ritualistic, etc. He always has wonderful recommendations for books and other items in the shop while paying attention to your needs. Furthermore, the drinks are out of this world good. Tea, blended drinks, coffee...all great. I also have bought several of my favorite jewelry pieces from this store that are very special to me. I recommend this place to everyone, it is a business I hope stays in Bham forever!

Very uninviting atmosphere. I have been there a few times and have been insulted by the employees for not practicing exactly like them. The place feels evil. Every time I leave I get a major headache and body aches for the rest of the day. Would not recommend if you’re trying to protect your energy.

I have felt very welcomed every time I have visited this shop. The owner is very nice and thoughtful, he will take your order and let you do your own thing which I appreciate. It’s so hard to find good customer service these days, but all of his staff is lovely and inviting. The metaphysical shop is also a very cool part of the building which is an absolutely gorgeous and wonderfully preserved historic home!The tea is delicious and reasonably priced. I would recommend coming here to anyone and trying their chai tea!

I loved this place. I dont know how many times Ive driven past it without giving it a second thought, but a friend wanted to get out of the house and go someplace cool so we hopped in the car and drove over on a whim. The coffee was good, the service was friendly and knowledgeable and the selection is on par with the little occult shop I used to frequent in Seattle, though its much more spread out because that shop was about the size of the front room of this one. 6/5, will definitely be back for my incense and stone needs.
