We went to DD for a engagement ring/wedding band. We were waited on by Charlie. My sweetheart did not like his tone from the get go. He made her feel like he knew everything and she knew nothing. We left with the expectation that he was going to have a center stone shipped in from Kansas City for us to look at and approve. We had identified a setting we liked and he was going to have a “photo realistic drawing” prepared and notify us when both arrived. Due to the Valentines holiday coming 3.5 weeks later, he said it may or may not get done before 2/14/21. So we did not hear a word from him EVER AGAIN. Not a word. After 6 weeks I reached out to the store for an update. I was told the ring was already built and was on site. We were shocked. We had not even seen the stone yet.When we arrived at the store we were directed to work with a Absolutely WONDERFUL young lady named Genesis. She explained that she was not yet a sales associate but worked in another area. She was wonderful. We had every ounce of the attention we felt DDs reputation demanded. She was thorough, stayed in contact, kept up updated and we went on to have a custom band created to match the engagement ring.I spoke to a VP on site and told him this story and pleaded for him to PLEASE promote Genesis to the sales floor. She made the experience what I would expect from a store like DD. Charlie provided a lack luster quality of service. This is a disgrace to the DD reputation. Genesis saved to day and the deal!!!I would recommend you ask for her by name! You will be ecstatic with the service you receive! If we had felt with her from the start, I would give them 5 stars!

After spending HOURS with us, we finally chose our rings.Did she stop there? No....Dee helped ensure that we would have our rings earlier than the expected date due to moving up the wedding date. And, when my husbands ring ended up being larger than he liked, Dee made sure that the exchange process was quick and painless.Our overall experience was great, but whato stood out the most to me was that Dee knew my name, WITHOUT having to look me up in the system. Ive had 2 ring of my moms sitting in my jewelry box since she passed away. I took them to Tim Price at Diamonds Direct to be sized so I could wear them. He got them done way quicker than what was estimated and they fit perfectly. He even went back and cleaned them. I was so happy I almost cried on my way home because of how beautiful they looked. Wow, the customer service at Diamonds Direct has been absolutely incredible! I cant even begin to say enough nice things about them. I accidentally ran into my desk at work and lost a small diamond from my wedding band. I brought it in to get a quote on the repair, but I was shocked when they fixed my ring free of charge. I will always always always buy my jewelry here, and I recommend that all of my friends do the same.
