This bagel shop does everything really well. Even the most simple of items is amazing because of the quality ingredients and processes they use. My favorite is a jalapeño cheddar bagel with their veggie cream cheese. It is just wow- so wow! I think they’re running with a lot of new staff right now but that seems to be every single place I go to- no unmet expectations there!

Stingy with the cream cheese. Staff needs to stop talking and make bagels. I was first one in and last one out. Finally get to sit down and eat and half the bagel is bare. Not a good way to start the day.

I WAITED AN HOUR! Hello Bagel’s management needs to learn how to operate an online and walk in breakfast business. This place has had the worst customer service for at least one year now. Yes, their food is good for a bagel shop when you get your order otherwise, if you want to eat within 20 mins of ordering, this place is not for you. Today, August 22, 2021, I walked in and ordered four breakfast bagels and waited an hour. They were backed up ONE HOUR with online orders and walk-in orders and continued to take orders without telling the customers the wait time. They were not making the orders in chronological order. Many customers were getting enraged that they were not getting their orders in a timely basis and some of the customers were going to be late to their scheduled events. The owner was present yet many of us waited in the store without any update from the staff, not even a “Hey folks, I am sorry for the wait.” The owner was frantically running around with staff, avoiding customer eye contact, and not taking control of the situation. I am not a person who takes her valuable time to write a punishing review about a business, but this business deserves a poor review. Hello Bagel, has ruined my plans and infuriated me one time too many. My other experiences at Hello Bagel have included not opening on time, avoid taking call in orders, and getting the wrong order. I WILL NOT return to Hello Bagel again. If I have the need for a bagel, I will order from Blacksburg Bagels. Blacksburg Bagels have a stand at the Framers Market every Saturday, and I believe that they also take delivery orders (they do not have a location).

Bagels were tasty, though they forgot my lox. Took 25 minutes to receive order. Ran out of coffee. Waited for new coffee. Not good coffee. Staff seemed flustered though not understaffed.

Great bagel! They forgot the meat on my everything bagel with sausage egg and swiss bagel but it was still awesome. They also have a cool selection of CBD products and other local merch. Ill make sure to advocate for the sausage. Still great! Hope they consider some more gluten free or vegan options in the future.

It was good! I got the Siracha Sausage Bagel. Personally though it was slightly overpriced for the size of the sandwich however I am also from NY where we have Delicatessens everywhere and those Delis are a whole other level compared to anything youll find in the South. Just for my fellow Northerns - no there are no Delis here that are like what we have at home, Ive looked everywhere and it doesnt exist here. However, the staff was quick to fulfill my order, friendly and the establishment was well laid out and clean. Overall good experience just wish the sandwiches were a little more substantial.

This place is so good! I wish they had a bigger menu! The workers are so nice and I love coming here when I can’t get Brueggers on campus at VT.

This place is so cute! Their egg, bacon, and cheese sandwich on an egg bagel is so good! Their prices are amazing too, we got three bagels, one with a topping, and one as a sandwich for only $9. Definitely will be coming again, and again, and again.

I go here for breakfast sometimes. The staff here are always friendly, and some of them remember my regular order. The bagel quality is high, and the one time I did have an issue (out of many, many visits), I contacted them his Facebook and it was resolved very quickly

This place is really cute but I am really disappointed with these bagels. I don’t think they are boiled. Not chewy at all which is the whole point of a bagel. If you’re looking for a typical chewy bagel in Blacksburg, they don’t exist.

Best black coffee in town. This is the kind of coffee you would imagine to be in the best diner on Route 66. The bagels are excellent as well, but honestly Id go just for the coffee. Again, not fancy coffee, just great.

This establishment offers delicious bagels that can be served plain, or made into a large variety of sandwiches. Everything I have purchased here has been absolutely delicious...and they serve breakfast all day, which I love.

The bagels are just the right combination of soft on the inside and chewy on the outside, with a perfect shell. Delicious. Dining area is clean and inviting. Service was very brusque, almost rude, but efficient.

20 minutes for a bagel. Not impressed.EDIT: what had happened was they lost track of my order. It actually took them 2 minutes after I went up and reminded them. I doubt many people will have this experience, but even after asking for a refund they insisted it would only take a minute. The actual taste of the bagel was alright.

First you boil em then you bake em... not sure which was worse, the stale weird tastin Taylor ham or the unboiled bagel. Threw mine in the trash, seemed the only popular place for my purchase. And whats with the name Hello should be more like adding a big N right before the O... way over priced for what your getting. And the thing that really burned me was they asked if I wanted my bagel toasted... sure of course, and I get it and they have toasted it and then cut it in half not toasting the inside. I was in Blacksburg for the weekend with my son for a swim meet and we stopped in Hello Bagel for a bite to eat on Friday. We loved it some much we went back on Saturday and Sunday for more. Great bagels and cookies, great coffee and great service!
