I would not recommend this place anybody bc they fooled me device that I purchased from this store… sale person name Lorrie W will lying you anything in order to sale you their phones.. she has very little knowledge abt Verizon’s services and she tell u lies after lies I was very disappointed Lorrie W’s service. I even wondered why would this Verizon manager hired such incompetent person. At least you should know what is your job and if don’t know then should ask coworkers or manager unfortunately Lorrie W doesn’t have this skills. From now on will never enter this store again!!! U go there and waste your time that’s all this store is…

Went above and beyond to help me when I needed it most. Sunshine was the only associate in the store and already had her hands full when I showed up with a dead phone, desperate for a new one before work the next morning. Not only did she successfully juggle three customers at the same time, she stayed an hour past closing to help me get my new phone set up. She had to use a lot of creative problem solving since my old phone was severely malfunctioning.
Couldnt make or receive calls. The staff were helpful getting me to tech support.

The whole experience with switching over to Verizon was a nightmare. However, my agent Lorrie at the UCB Blacksburg location was a rockstar. It was a very time consuming switch due to the system being down and a few other issues but she was very polite and remained positive and super helpful through it all. She even stayed over her shift to ensure I was taken care of before she left. Had I gotten a rude agent this review would have been a lot different.

I had a very good experience here.Matt has great customer service skills, and was helpful to the two people in front of me, and myself. I needed to upgrade my phone becauae my current one only charges wirelessly and has slowed down. He helped me find and use promos to get a better deal on the new phone I had chosen, and was very personable and knowledgeable about the products. Despite probably working on commission, his focus was customer satisfaction over upselling unnecessary items and accessories, which I found to be amazing and refreshing. The only reason I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that there was only one employee working and it took probably 30ish-45ish minutes before he was able to help, due to the complexity of the issues the two people before me had.

I stopped by the store today to buy a new car charger for my iPhone. I was immediately greeted by a friendly employee who helped me find what I was looking for. He then proceeded to tell me about some options for me to consider as a small business owner, that could possibly save me some money on my bill and provide me with some additional perks. The gentleman who assisted me with the purchase of the charger was very personable and helpful, as well.

I bought a phone with 2 years verizion contract from Bestbuy and it wont connect to verizion network. The staff here didnt solve my problem, so they suggested me to return the phone to Bestbuy. Some very nice people at Bestbuy was able to solve my problem.

Terrible place to do business with. 1. Agents will add extra bills, e.g. I refused device insurance but i still saw in my first bill, $17 per new line with device. 2. They refused to take my trade-in device even though it was a valid model in the online plan, so I have to do it myself as well. 3. Then, he gave us number we did not liked and asked us to change ourselves. We tried and even though agents said $15 fee is waived we still say that in the bill. All this took lot of extra time latter on for me to get fixed. I wish I had never gone to this unprofessional and fishy people.
Chris worked diligently to work through some issues that were present and fixed the situation and I left with a new phone. I was seriously about to cancel my service and he managed to get everything right. Awesome guy. Thanks again!

BE VERY CAREFUL IN THIS STORE. After a phone crash, this store gave us a temporary phone. Two days later data was transferred to another phone a family member owned. The temporary phone was returned, but the store denies that we returned it. We are being charged more than $600 for a phone we returned. The manager herself did the return and assured us that everything was in order.At a higher level, Verizon admits that this phone is not being used by anyone in our family, but they say the store itself must give the credit. After months of phone calls this temporary phone charge is still on the bill.We made the bad mistake of not checking that we had a receipt for the phone when we left the store.CHECK AND DOUBLE CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS AT THIS STORE!!!

Salesperson was very nice and very patient, but it took over an hour to walk out of the store with my new phone. Unfortunately, Verizons convoluted pricing rules preclude any effort its retailers make at excellent customer service from fully succeeding. Also, I was forced to finance $50 of the cost of my phone instead of being able to buy it outright, adding to the (already significant) confusion around what exactly I was paying for, and when and how I was paying for it.
I had an amazing experience at Verizon Wireless in Blacksburg Virginia on University Boulevard. Eddie and Danielle went over and above with excellent customer service. I went I. The store three different times today with questions and they handled each one with excellence!!! I purchased a new phone, bundle package and an iPad!! Their customer service is second to none!!! I appreciate the patience and knowledge they shared with me today!!
Chris did a great job! Here is the problem today. Everything is available SOMEWHERE, but how do you find it and evaluate it. We have a family plan and it was time to upgrade my iPhone 6. Chris and Zach worked we through all the questions, and then Chris walked me across the finish line. Everyone has different needs I am sure, but Chris could tell what I wanted, and most importantly, what I NEEDED. I had a pretty good experience with this location. David was very helpful in helping me pick the right phone for me, and I left satisfied with my purchases.The only issues I had with the location were with their selection of products that they carry in stock. Their stock seemed to consist only of budget-priced phones, except for their selection of the new Samsun Galaxy products. Therefore, unless you want to buy a Galaxy or a cheaper product, youll have to get the phone ordered in, which takes a couple of days.The Verizon system also went down when I was trying to get my phone set up, and I ended up waiting for about 3 hours to finish everything. However, this is more corporates fault than this locations fault, so I couldnt really blame them.From a customer service standpoint, this place is great, and the only issues I had at the store were completely unrelated to the staff that they have working there.
They take such good care of us here, no matter what kind of off the wall problem we have. I always appreciate their help.

This store is deserving of zero stars. My girlfriend was treated with dishonesty and disrespect. This store makes promises that they then take back. She has tried to speak with someone about the matter and even the regional manager rudely does not return calls. The customer service is truly appalling. All of their fuss is just over not wanting to exchange an overpriced screen protector which was promised to her. Do not go to this store unless you want to be lied to and tricked into buying things you shouldnt.
The staff at our local Blacksburg VA Verizon center were extremely knowledgeable and helpful with purchasing and transitioning our account from land-line based system to a Verizon wireless business account. They worked well togther as a very effective team! The new Galaxy S-9 cell phones have been most useful and efficient compared to our older S-5 models. The Note-8 phone has capabilities that I did not imagine would be so useful.Thanks so much!
As an expat who just got here, my experience here was fascinating. We totally had no idea how phones work in this country, but we had the guy called Darryl who was very patient and provided the best service in America that Ive ever had! High recommended here!
I will never come to this store again! They are all liars!I was also treated with dishonesty and disrespect which make me angry till today. I want a new plan and one of the agent there recommend me a plan and told me that I can get a totally free laptop with that plan, and I refuse her. She then just pretend to help me get a discount through the phone, and said that I can get it free. I asked her if it had an extra contract, she said no. But later I found that I have to pay for a extra line and warranty for at least 6 months! I went to the store and a man with a full lie received me, and he tried to show how much energy the customer had used to help me get this offer. When I said that I wanted to return this thing, he said that I had signed the contract. Obviously, they lied to me again because they didn’t show me any contracts until I realize that the signature of the payment was actually an electronic contract. Dont go to the store, you can do all the work on the website!

They helped my parents greatly by literally cutting their bill in half (they had an old contract with Verizon that hadnt been updated in almost a decade!). My dad needed a new phone so they took the time and effort to transfer all his data and info from is old phone to the new one, even though his old phones micro USB connector had gone bad. Great customer service overall.

I have to wait hours to setup my plan. Also the employee never told me about the activation fee and other fees behind when setting up the plan. I had no idea about those fees until he finished and there was no way to revert the process back without messing everything up.And I only got the information about my plans policy and fees when I made a call directly to Verizon customer support after that. I Dont know why a authorized retailer store cant even show the customers the very basic information of the plan.

Literally the worst Verizon store with the worst management and employees Ive ever dealt with. They have disgusting attitudes and will lie straight to your face about everything they tell you. They dont communicate with each other or you. They dont cooperate with Verizon customer service reps either. Stay away if you can. Always stick with corporate Verizon as this is not one, because if you have a problem with them they will not fix it nor will the higher ups. Victra should cut off this store, or at least clean out the employees and rehire all new ones.
Came into the store to upgrade from my old Galaxy S4 about 2 weeks ago. Jared was who I worked with, he not only found a lot of savings from changing my plan and having me do the new device payment thing, but he was also patient, very attentive and thorough about what he did and how he was saving me money. I also got a free tablet out of plan change!!!! 100% recommend Jared and this location to anyone Verizon!!!!!!!

I would give this store zero stars if I could. Every person I have spoken too has been disrespectful and insensitive.First I was lied to [David Youssef] about the stats of a phone that I was convinced to buy. The phone was terrible and had problems, so I returned it. I was not informed at the time of purchase that the screen protector that was put on the phone was $50 and nonrefundable. I was very upset when I found this out and asked if I could at least exchange it for the same screen protector for my new phone. They [Concepcion CruzRodriguez] agreed to this and told me to come back when that screen protector was in stock. Needless to say, when the new screen protector was in stock they did not stick by their word and I was rudely confronted by the store manger [Brandon?] on the phone about how there was absolutely nothing they would do for me despite returning the old screen protector to them and not getting an exchange or my money back. I called Victra to speak to the regional manager about the issue. I was told he/she would call me in an hour or so, it is now 9 hours later. All I want is a new screen protector, I did not want to have to write this review, but this is the truth and other people should know.

Ive not had a good experience in there yet. The guys working there have never acknowledged me when Ive walked in and have literally left me standing with a bit of recognition for ten minutes. Currently Verizon has a big promotion with Disney and Google for the Star Wars themed Google Cardboard and these guys didnt even know what Google Cardboard was.They also NEVER answer the phone, you can never get ahold of them without going there first so you can stand around like an idiot while they take their time getting to you.

Tried to go to the store to get my phone looked at. I had it for less than 3 months and it wouldnt turn on. I was ignored on the floor for about 20 minutes. When I was finally helped, the manager scoffed at my selection in phone, stated that it wasnt a verizon phone (verizon is printed on the front of it), and then told me that not only could he not fix it, but that nobody could fix it and that I needed to get a new phone. He spoke to me like I was an idiot and, when I told him I was instructed to go to the store to get it looked at he accused me of lying. To end the conversation, he just walked away. No apologies, no offer for further assistance.I purchased a different phone there about 6 months ago at the same persons insistence. I was informed that the phone had great battery life and was the easiest to use. i voice some concerns about previous phones and he promised that this one would be better. The phone I got had TERRIBLE battery life, a quiet ringer, and frequently dropped calls. When I brought it in I was informed that that (was) common for the phone and I should get a different one.If you have the option, go elsewhere for your phone needs. Its not worth the headache or the harassment.

My son bought a Droid from Motorola which said it works on the Verizon network. Going into this store, Makeese a manager, was polite, and claimed the phone has the wrong antenna. Okay, maybe . The employee refused to check and see if a phone available on a pre-pay plan would work. We were told to go online and look it up. We also were looking at another upgrade, but the employee acted like it was just a horrible imposition since that phone wasnt in the shop and would have to be ordered.Im guessing that 20 years with Verizon counts for nothing, and I will be driving to Wireless Zone in Salem for my brick and mortar needs, as well as doing all my business possible on line until I can switch carriers.Update...5 minutes with the chat support on line and the phone is activated. So either lazy or incompetent.
My iPhone stopped working, I had to visit the store a couple times and due to problems with Apple the guys at Verizon couldn’t fix the phone itself, but they gave me as much information as they could. They also helped with each step as we went through the process of changing things up on my account.
Absolutely ATROCIOUS customer service and highly demeaning, immature, and unprofessional behavior from the employees, specifically two named Nate and Markeece.I shudder thinking about the experience my friend and I had there last week - it was the ugliest and closest thing to downright awful service any human being could possibly receive. Things escalated so far to the point where Nate, one of the associates, put his feet up on the table while he was speaking at me while Markeece was arguing with and disrespecting my friend at the desk right next to us. Yikes!Markeece specifically, from the moment we walked in failed to greet us, then continued to give us horrendous attitude and incredibly condescending service. Ive been here one other time and I remember how displeased I was at the service I received from Markeece - I wish I had left a review then too. I will save my words as my friend and I have already contacted corporate and are waiting to hear back from Mr. Dixon, whos assistant gave me a courtesy call earlier today notifying me they will be in touch soon. The store manager, Danielle didnt do much to mitigate the situation and has failed to reach out to my friend and I to follow up on what measures have been taken to reprimand the two. Just save yourself a GREAT deal of trouble, emotions and time by skipping this store. The Verizon inside the Christiansburg mall is the by far the best in the NRV.
They either gave me a rebate that wasnt valid with my phone or just lied to me about it being valid to make the sale. I would not recommend going here.
