Theres a good selection of vegan foods. Theres refrigerated mock meats, plant based ice cream and non-dairy milks. The supplements are cutting edge, like medicinal mushrooms grown and formulated by Paul Stamets, herbal products organically grown in NC by Gaia, and grey value CBS by Sunsoil. The bulk food section is quite large. And they have bulk herbs, to save you money, in the back of the store. They will weight out the amount you want and bag it for you. They have fermented veggies, including some wild ferment like Wildbrine. They have good quality aged miso in the refrigerated section. Definitely worth a visit.

I have been shopping at Eats for years. During the height of the pandemic, this place was the safest feeling place I entered. The staff is the friendlest place in town. They have a good granola section. You should stop in and see for yourself. If you do, I bet you will become a regular shopper.

We have to share our review. Yesterday my husband drive all from Northern Virginia to get your organic otmeal product, as we live far away we usually buy four bags. The lady in charge 9/21/2020 around 4:00 pm didnt let him buy the four bags so my husband consider not buy any product from the store. We have several year consistently buy from your store the same quantity and from now on we will stop buy in this store. You guys lost our bussiness. It is so sad. My father in-law usually buy here also and it didnt have a good experience in previews days. We will buy in another store online.

Overall a very nice natural food store! Fantastic deals on all the bulk grains, legumes, and other dry goods. Prices are pretty high on the other goods, however. I especially love the stores commitment to sustainability; they have jars that you can take for free and use instead of plastic bags for purchasing foods in bulk. Its also the only place in the area where you can find natural hygenic products. They do have a yearly membership you can sign up for, which brings the prices down by 15% and is totally worth the $10 cost if you shop there semi-regularly.

Great natural food store. Has all the vitamins and supplements that you can ever need that you cannot find anywhere in the town, and it is a nice friendly store. Also has a wide selection of foods and the membership is very helpful if you shop alot. Unfortunately they do not take American Express, but the benefits outweigh that.

Eats is located close to my house and stay open later than Annie Kays so I end up there sometimes. Their homebrew selection is varied and convenient. The staff is unfortunately uninviting at best and sometimes downright rude so I prefer to shop at other venues when possible.EDIT: I bounced this up to 5 stars. Their current staff is a lot friendlier than they used to be, and I now feel a lot more comfortable shopping there and shop there more often. Shows how people make the difference!

Eats has been a staple of Blacksburg, Montgomery County and the New River Valley for over 30 years. It is everything a box store like WF is not. Quirky, eccentric, off the wall and layers deep in knowledge and experience when it comes to healthy living. It is almost impossible to simply run in for something. Between the staff and the insane variety of everything from supplements to beer making to crystals, to cutting edge oils, Eats is handily something for everyone. It is also a social hub for the kind of people that care about such things and many friendships that last a lifetime start there too.

While in Blacksburg for the ACC Wrestling Championships, I needed to buy gluten-free items and Eats had EVERYTHING I was looking for, and even locally made products that I had never had before. Thank you Eats Natural Foods!

An incredible resource for locally sourced natural foods. I saw organic nuts from other parts of the world that were so fresh they were refrigerated. I saw beautifully packaged locally grown sprouts. An amazing assortment of raw cheeses, all organic. There were gluten-free grain free organic packaged products the likes of which I had never seen before. A lot of very healthy cleaning products, locally or regionally made. Materials for growing your own sprouts, making your own beer wine and kombucha. I got off highway 81 and route from Asheville to DC and drove here to Blacksburg for lunch. Its about 20 minutes off the interstate but it was worth the drive.

They fit quite a bit into a small space. Good selection of bulk foods. Friendly staff. Kids corner with toys to entertain while parents shop.
