Stopped in to grab some golf head covers and received superb service from start to finish. walked me over to the bin and also took time to answer my questions. their prices are very reasonable and they have a decent selection. definitely will be back for my golfing needs.

Employees were super helpful and awesome. The 2 stars is for the owner as they won’t allow the employees to open the door to allow the cool air in. AND won’t allow the ceiling fans to be running! What? Are you kidding me? Come on, seriously? That store was so flipping hot and stuffy, it was all I could do to get out of there ASAP! I felt horrible for the employees! They were sweating. I offered them cold bottled water. Unreal. Please fix this issue.

The staff at this Blaine location was incredibly helpful to me yesterday. I’m in the middle of quarantining so my family can spend time with my at-risk (to COVID) parents later this week, so we are being very conservative and cautious about COVID-19 exposure. I worked with 3 different members of the staff, and they all bent over backwards to make sure that I was able to buy the cross-country ski equipment I needed without going into the store. They listened so kindly to me describe what I needed, found the items in the in-store inventory, confirmed compatibility, and helped me arrange a contact-free purchase. It was a very positive and refreshing experience, both because of their equipment expertise and willingness to be flexible even during a busy time for the store. I’ll definitely be back to this location.

Great used hockey gear! I came out with so much stuff I could not find anywhere around where I live and for so little money! I spent forever in there shopping around all the fun stuff and had a blast. Found everything I needed and then some. I was surprised that they carried the new unused items I needed as well.

Employee told me I could return item to get a refund for 28 days after I asked while purchasing skates. I returned the same day when I found out they didn’t fit my son. The next employee informed me I could only return for I store credit or exchange. Would have been great information to begin with. Will never shop here again. Suggest you just head over to other stores who honor returns.

Whoever is responsible for hiring and training of the staff here has done a terrific job. The staff went above and beyond trying to help me solve my need. Cheerful, dedicated, problem solving, courteous, attentive! A nice selection of hockey and ski equipment. And if it wasnt on the floor, ask, they just might have it in the storeroom.

I have visited this location 5-6 times as my daughters grow and try new sports. Skate sharpening service is convenient and about $6 per set. Got used figure skates for $2 for a 7 year old!While you can get almost anything you need for major sports here, my experience is the staff is less than helpful and seems annoyed when you check out or ask for help.

I missed the return/exchange deadline due to a car accident. I called and spoke to Paul on Saturday and he told me when I came in Sunday to talk to Jeff and they would help me out. They exchanged my skis and boots for full credit and found me a set that was easier for me to deal with (a little more $, but well worth it). Thanks guys! Now, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! I will be back!

My first experience with the store was horrible. When I walked in the door I was not greeted or asked if I needed help. The conversation being carried on by two employees while I was in there with my 13 year old daughter was borderline inappropriate. We were in the store for almost 40 minutes looking for ski boots for my daughter. Not once did any one of the employees come over to assist one employee in fact when in the back and disappeared. When I was finally ready to make a purchase I brought it up to the counter and the guy huffed and puffed like I had ruined his day. I asked about returns and he gave me a look like I was just going to bring these things back. I was not pleased and found the experience to leave a bad taste in my mouth. Im not a needy person who needs to be asked if I need help all the time and I figured out what we needed but all the same cannot be recognized when Im inside of a store by the employees I find to be very poor customer service.I would like to know that I went back on a different day for something else and the gentleman behind the counter working during the day was much better than the two that were working the night I went in with my daughter. I dont like the whole the company accountable for the actions of a bad employee but I feel that this needs to be addressed so I gave them two stars.

Fair prices, great selection. You won’t get much for your used gear, but it’s nice to see things being used again than sitting in your garage or a landfill.

They have a good selection of used skis, but they are shady business; do your research about what you buy before you buy it - if you are looking to trade in yearly for growing kids look elsewhere.... They likely wont work with you on price or trade in, and their sales staff are completely hit or miss. Wont be going back - theres plenty of other businesses in town.

Was treated very rudely when I tried to return some used cleats that I bought from another location. I was told that I cannot return items purchased from another location even though that policy was not communicated to me at the point of sale and was not written down anywhere on my receipt or in the store. How was I supposed to know about this policy?When I pointed this out to the manager, he threatened to withdraw the instore credit he had agreed to give me for my old cleats (half of what I paid for them) and told me to drive back to the other location if I was unhappy. I have never been treated so poorly by a store manager in my life.Buy your used sporting equipment somewhere else, these people are nasty.

Friendly staff, but I never have had good luck with skate sharpenings at a Play It Again Sports and not sure why I gave them another chance. My left skates edge was completely gone and had to get them re-sharpened at the arena and was late onto the ice.

I returned a pair of brand new cleats. Instead of cash back (since I paid with cash), I was issued a check. This is apparently their policy so that they dont have too much cash in their registers. I deposited the check and then promptly shredded it since it went through. A week later, I received a letter from my bank stating I would need to re-deposit the check because it didnt go through. After 2 and a half months of attempting to get this resolved with the store, I was told they would only reissue a check to me if I paid the stop payment fee on the previous check. Mind you, the check total was $48.15. This has been extremely frustrating. The managers did not handle this well, as I had to call several times and talk to 5 different managers before I finally even got a call back. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Was at the Blaine store on Saturday, August 24, 2013. Had an absolutely terrible customer service experience with the weekend manager. So bad that my wife and 11 year old son walked out the door while I paid the bill. I told the manager his customer service skills were terrible. The following Monday I called the store manager to explain my experience and was left utterly flat and actuallymore exasperated than when I left the store on Saturday. Absolutely pathetic. My recommendation would be to shop elsewhere.
