This was by far my kids favorite store to shop in while we were visiting The Mall of America. They found all kinds of things to purchase from t-shirts and jewelry to blankets and coffee mugs. They ended up spending over one hundred dollars here. I couldnt spend much time in there myself as it is just such a small space with so much merchandise in it that it was completely overwhelming for me. They could definitely use a much bigger space.

Came here last week on a Saturday afternoon. Had a terrible experience with one of the people working there. She had blonde and pink hair. She followed me and my friends around the store and she thought we didn’t notice her but we did. She even took our pins having them at the cash register and told us we could get them back when we were ready to pay. She only did that to us but not other people. She made us feel like we were going to steal or that we didn’t have money. If I see her again I’m going to confront her about it because she made us feel very uncomfortable and not wanted in the store

Compared to what Hot Topic used to be, I was very disappointed. Of course I havent been in a Hot Topic since the early 2000s... But if you want a t-shirt or some socks, youve come to the right place

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Had to wait a while to get in but enjoyed shopping with my nieces. They found some really cute clothes. I enjoyed the Nostalgia. Apparently Im old now.

I brought some Awesome Iron maiden shirts and Megadeth shirts Great to wear them in the Summer months. I love going to hot Topic because its cool place to get your favorite band Merchandise.

Like all others, friendly staff. They didnt have that many POPS but I think she said she just got shipment in and was working on it soon. Overall nothing and bad to say.

I went to get a swimsuit and I was followed around by Megan. She asked if I knew about the deals and if I needed any help. I said I was okay, she muttered something under her breath and walked away. I figured she was having an off day so I didn’t think too much of it. I kept looking around the store for something else and Megan came up to me again asking if I needed help, I said no again and she said something under her breath. She came up to me a couple more times before I decided I would check out because megan made me feel very uncomfortable and didn’t want to be there anymore. While I was in line Megan came up to me again and told me about the shirts, I stepped out of line to look at them so she would leave me alone. While I was browsing the shirts I could see Megan looking at me and smirking. I got back in line to try and leave because I felt really uncomfortable. The rest of the staff was fine but Megan made me feel really uncomfortable and stressed out.

Great store always love going to hot topic. just wish this specific hot topic had a bigger kpop section as that is the main reason why i go into hot topic. i still found stuff that i wanted though. the person wearing the spiked mask is super friendly and nice and makes sure everyone is finding what they need okay. i also liked the person who rang up my things they were nice as well will definitely be coming back to this location when i get the chance. it is just very unorganized and the lines can touch people who are causually shopping. needs more room

I did not find many earing pieces for men, but all in all alot of good choices.

Decent selection as far as high traffic Hot topic can get. Amazing employees who are super helpful and managed to keep the store tidy despite the sheer number of people running through the place.

The options at this store are nice. The staff are friendly too. My biggest complaint is the amount of space and people in this store. It gets really crowded in the weekends. And of your not a crowd person like me Id suggest you go during a less busy time.

Im always satisfied coming here.

They didnt have alot of sizes to choose from. But they had alot of Fandom items to choose from.

Long time customer, since I was 12. I’m 24 now. Chick with the blue hair and the crash bandicoot tattoo is super unprofessional. I understand that running a small retail business in the mall is hard. The way she acted towards me was weird and felt like she was on drugs? I came in to return things and she had me go In and out of the store, while I was going to the kiosk she grabbed my item? Like I wasn’t going to pay for it. If you’re reading this girl ya need to chill.

Fully stocked, lots of things for teenagers to shop for. Much like your average mall Hot Topic but with a slightly larger selection. They were very good with enforcing social distancing rules when we were there, better than most of the stores we saw at the MOA.

This place is dark and creepy. Strange people work here. Bill Gates has gone too far.

I wasnt crazy about being confronted by a doorman guarding the entrance with a series of rules and instructions before we could go in. We didnt have to change anything we werent already doing. We had to pass his watchful presence again on the way out. Too weird ... Covid Overkill. Weve all gone in a store before without societal collapse ensuing. No one else at the mall was doing this that we encountered.

The staff rock! They got stuff down off the wall for us when we couldnt find the size we wanted. I was glad they were monitoring how many people were allowed in at once. It gets crowded fast since the store itself is pretty small/filled!

First time ever we listened to the young man at the door complaining about customers to himself.

Make sure when you buy earrings from this place let them gauge the earrings for you they should have a tool to measure the gauge because I bought earrings from here and they were not the right size I bought a 7/16 and it turned out to be a half inch I bought a half inch and they turned out to be 9/16 now Im stuck with two earrings then I only serving me is the decor.

I went in on Wednesday with my boyfriend and I was going to buy a present for my best friends birthday so I decided to grab a boba keychain to purchase but when I was walking around the store this one lady who works there with green and blue-ish hair kept asking me if I needed help, just to preface she didn’t ask anyone else if they needed help (i was the only one there that was not white) so I said out loud I’m putting the keychain back to my boyfriend because I saw she was thinking I was being sneaky so I put it back and walked back to my boyfriend and asked if he was ready to go then she proceeded to interrupt my conversation with my boyfriend and ask me where the pins I was holding is I was like what are you talking about? And she was looking around me like I put it somewhere to hide and she checked where I walked to and I was like it wasn’t pins it was a keychain I’m not buying it and she then realized she wrongly accused me and made herself look foolish so she started making it a funny light thing which it was not I am furious about this! And I’m not going to be shopping here anymore.

I love Hot Topic! The workers at this location were very nice. They kept the place very clean and followed CDC guidelines. They have the cutest shirts and fan merch. I especially loved these unique ramen snow hats!! Great gift for college students for sure!

Went in looking for a present for my sister and was treated very poorly. A woman with orange hair was very rude and disrespectful towards me while I was trying to ask her about a few things. Come to find out later that she was the manager of that store. Hope they fix this behavior and stoppromoting it.

Wouldnt recommend visiting during Covid times. They keep a count of something like 12 people inside at a time paired with an already crowded store with merch. Before you enter, you get a minute long explanation of things literally everyone knows by now. When you stand in line to buy something in the actual store, the floor manager apparently assumed the role to force you to buy it at the kiosk outside the store, (even though you are only second in line with only one item to purchase.) She did it just to keep store population numbers down, and potential customers in line up. The problem is, outside the shop, literally anyone walking through the mall can line up to the kiosk to buy anything out there. While I wait in line, outside the shop, for 10+ minutes just to get in and get the pleasant surprise of being taken outside to wait in line again behind 3 customers. Ive never met such an anti-consumer shop in my life.

They make checking out really easy by having an additional stand out in mall hallway.

If you are a POC avoid this store! The childlike woman with teal hair (Megan) who happens to be the manager followed me around the store. I asked to leave me alone and stay 6ft away. My mistake was to not understand the first time that she told me that I couldn’t grab a hair dye by myself. I told her that I wouldn’t steal anything and she said “well then I’ll stay here” and she stayed there looking at me.I told her that I was feeling targeted and she mocked me. I guess this is Trump America.

Have loved this place for years! It is a nerd/geek paradise. It used to have quite a few goth items as well and as though it still has some they seem to be moving away from that and I would rather they bring some back. Still one of my favorite stops tho.

I just want to give a shout out to Taryn. I was trying to redeem my hot cash today and we ran into an issue with my HTC. I was there for an hour and a half trying to figure it out. This girl was on the phone with at least 3 people trying to help me. I am so great full for people like her!! Thank you for all your help today; the entire team was wonderful!

Jay was seriously the best. I walked in and was greeted right away by them. They kept up a good conversation, was super positive the whole time, and created a great customer experience for me. Whoever is Jay’s supervisor, give them a raise!!! ❤️❤️❤️
