The owner cares about his customers and is truly knowledgeable. He knows what he is doing and will do everything he can to help. For a college student, it was such a relief to find someone who knew what they were talking about and fixed my laptop for a great price. Brought my laptop in after spilling soup on it and they got straight to work on it. It was worked on over the weekend and fixed by Monday:) Super fast and Mike did not charge me for the keyboard replacement. I assumed I was going to have to pay $250 plus but only had to pay $120. For a college student, thats a great deal and Im really happy with the work and service I recieved.

I would rate this place five stars a million times over!I went in because my laptop screen had cracked. I was able to get it in to be worked on right away, and I communicated with the owner for upwards of 40 minutes on what was the best step forward. This shop quoted me over $800 to repair my computer, citing a broken motherboard. I did not go through with the work and was able to turn my computer back on by letting the battery completely discharge and recharge. Im not certain they really assessed my computer since the motherboard was clearly not broken and I, a complete tech novice, was able to fix my computer on my own.

I went through Computer Clinic to build a PC. They were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful along the way. They went above and beyond on the build and were even able to include some higher end hardware than I wanted while keeping it in my price range. Highly Recommend

They spent hours trying to take the computer apart until they realized I had bought the wrong part. This should have been a $90 charge at least but instead they gave the computer back free of charge. I wouldnt take my computer to any other place but here.

I stopped by here yesterday after having lunch at hive. The gentleman at the counter was very nice and let me borrow his screwdriver to take apart my malfunctioning computer mouse. He actually gave me a can of electronics cleaner for free as well. I checked out their inventory on computers and they have several computers at very affordable prices. Went to Best Buy first for a computer repair (windows would not load correctly every time) and was quoted at least $150 and most likely a lot more depending on the problem and a loss of my computer for 4 weeks. Thought I could do better and went to the computer clinic after a quick online search. The owner knew what the problem was immediately, fixed the computer while I was there in about 20 minutes, and sent me on my way with my computer for only $30. It turned out I just had an outdated BIOS system.I highly recommend this place to anyone with a computer problem.

My husbands laptop started making a rattling sound out of nowhere. We researched places online where we could take it and The Computer Clinic came up. Since it had very good reviews we thought wed give it a shot.The second that Mike saw the laptop he already knew what kind it was and that itd be difficult to open. So, there I was...About to begin a major overhaul of a business plan when I was greeted by a threatening BLACK SCREEN on my faithful, old laptop. Dead as a door nail with no revival in sight.A friend (now a very good friend) recommended that I take the computer corpse to Computer Clinic. Within an hour, I was greeted at the clinics help desk by Isaac, co-owner, chief operator. and computer guru. This guy is beyond good. He patiently and confidently took the defunct machine into his care and slowly talked me off the ledge.With laptop in hand and disappearing to parts unknown (probably heaven) for 15-minutes, he returned with test results, a band-aid remedy, and a recommended permanent fix for about 75 bucks. SOLD!I was soon tending to the task at hand -- cranking away happily ever after. If there is another computer repair clinic in Bloomington or another clinician like Isaac, I dont need to know the details. Ive found my computer restoration genius.

Had a new Dell laptop start getting too hot and eventually fried my hard drive. I took it to Best Buy and was quoted $300. I looked up other places and saw great reviews for the Computer Clinic and figured it was worth a shot. Mike was amazing in every way possible. He was Dell certified and was able to use my warranty to get all the parts for free and then called me to explain everything he’d found after looking at it more. He was able to do everything for $150 which was dirt cheap in comparison to other places, but even better than the prices were his customer service. As a non computer person, he explained each issue to me in a way that made sense and genuinely seemed to be striving to get it done not only as cheap as possible, but as good as possible. Definitely would recommend to anyone with computer issues.

This is the best computer guy in Bloomington. He is super knowledgeable about every possible concern. I went in with a couple of major concerns (at least in my mind), and he was able to quickly fix them and didnt even charge me since they were such simple fixes. As you can guess, Im a computer idiot, so it was nice to have someone with such ability that didnt make me feel like a total idiot. Great guy, great place, they also have refurbished computers really reasonably priced which I will look at the next time I need a computer.

Really friendly people and very helpful. I brought my PC in for a cleaning (couldnt clean it myself without taking it apart) and was misguided that they would need to take the whole thing apart and spend $45 in the process. When I took it in, they told me they could get all the dust out for free with an air compressor cleaning. It took only a few minutes.They could have easily said, Yeah, yeah $45 please, but did not. Great people.

On every occasion I have been to the computer clinic, Mike the owner has been most professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly fair and willing to explain what is happening for his customers. I personally dont need my computers repaired, as I can handle this myself, but every now and then I will need a small part, recommendation, or some hardware knowledge from someone on the front lines of building and using personal computers.There is a pricing guide clearly visible along with expectations of time and costs for common issues. For fixing peoples PCs correctly, the prices are fair in my opinion.I have no hesitation recommending the computer clinic to anyone who is looking for a fairly priced used computer or is in need of software or hardware repairs.I wish Mike would bring back 3D printing as a service. I understand the difficulty involved and would pay good money.

Recently took my laptop in for a broken hinge. Ive taken my PCs and laptops to other Bloomington repair places before, with long turnaround times and sometimes not great results. I did the unthinkable and spilled some soda on my laptop. Even though it wasnt turned on at the time and the lid was shut, the liquid got into just about every place it could, and after doing everything possible to get it dried it would not start up. I was already mentally prepared to accept the loss of my files as well as buy a new laptop. But I took it in to The Computer Clinic and they saved it! A very friendly knowledgeable employee, a flat reasonable fee, and I walked out the next day with my laptop as good as new! AMAZING! The experts at The Computer Clinic were able to recover my dissertation research (and all other files) after three different places said it was a lost cause. Not only that, they were able to repair my Samsung laptop to a better (faster) condition than it had been when I dropped it off. Honestly, I thought it was a lost cause, but they proved me wrong. Mike is absolutely AMAZING!!! I bought a computer from a friend and had seen it working fine just a week before. When I picked up the computer and brought it home to hook it up Windows would not load! I tried every single option to troubleshoot the problem and every option of resetting the computer(since none of the files on it were mine anyways). I searched computer stores in the Bloomington area and The Computer Clinic was the 3 business I called. Not only was he nice and professional over the phone but also very informative. I brought my computer in that evening just before close and had a call back first thing in the morning letting me know what the problem was and told me it was fixed. When I got to the store to pick it up he explained very well in detail what had happened and what he had to do. to fix it. Plus he showed me how to use my new software . He is a lifesaver not to mention completely reasonable I stressed the fact that I had a lot come up this week. He told me it would be anywhere from $30-$90 and he said he would try to keep it as low as he possibly could and told me at the most he would expect it to be $60 and he wasnt lying! $60 even and went out of his way to explain the software and functions on the computer to me!! I WILL be back there with any computer problems I may have in the future. And I WILL ABSOLUTELY recommend them to everyone I know!!
