Would not sell my husband an item because he wasn’t wearing a mask, even though my husband said he had an exemption. Employee said my husband was “rude”, even though he wasn’t, and the employee was the one who walked away from my husband in the middle of a conversation. Will not recommend since they discriminate against those who chose to breathe freely.

I have been shopping here ever since it opened and find a lot of fun stuff. I think the prices have gone up a lot. I think everyone has from the Pandemic but Im really surprised at the expense of the furniture, since its used. I bought a hutch Im going to have to repaint and it was probably $50 higher than I think it should have been but I liked it so I bought it.

Great place to shop around and support a great cause. Found the lightbulbs I needed for a fraction of the cost and you can test them to ensure they work before you buy them (as they are out of the package already). They were .25 to .50 cents from what I saw and a wide range of sizes and kinds. They had modern light fixtures that are deeply discounted from what you’d buy at a local hardware store and I would’ve been happy to put any of them in my house; they would’ve matched. Great place to get sinks, wood, NEW painting supplies, and tile. The inventory changes but it’s worth a look around to save money and contribute to Habitat helping change people’s lives for the better!

It would be nice if donation hours were clearly posted. Online, hours are posted Tues.-Thur. 9-5, Sat.. 9-3, Sun., Mon. closed. No hours posted on donation recieving door other than they open at 9am.Three layers deep in the website, donation hours are indicated in a single sentence at the end of a paragraph that donations end an hour before close. This is unfortunate and easily remedied. My personal experience was showing up at 4:30pm, doors locked with no hours of operation signage. Someone inside, looked at me then looked away. No explanation. Again, no signage other than, closed. This read as rude, which is, unacceptable from either employee or volunteer. I am giving you lumber. I dont expect accolades but I do expect common courtesy.I did check hours of operation before loading and planned enough time to be unloaded well before what I was lead to believe was closing time.If there are two sets of times of operation, post them, clearly, together, or at least leave a clear trail to the alternate set of hours.Disappointed.

I met Patrick a few years back and was introduced to the restore. The restore is an incredible place to donate household items and feel really good that the proceeds are going for a great cause and will help a LOCAL family. It’s also a great place to shop, you’d be amazed at the quality and variety of stuff they have at the Restore! Highly recommend you check them out!

I love this place! You can find all sorts of household items here. They have chandeliers, lights, does, mirrors, pictures, sinks, screws, tools, shelves, furniture, dishes, so much stuff. I like to browse the light switch covers every time Im in, you never know when an unusual one will pop up. I bought 3 replacement ones today. Stop on by and shop for something you need.

We have found exactly what we needed both times weve been here and for a fraction of the cost of a new item. Also, proud to say the offer a military discount here as well. Everything has a location so its easy to find what youre looking for and the staff is very helpful. We have already recommended this place to a family member and they also found what they needed at a much lower cost than new.

Ive had great success at the Independence store as well as Blue Springs when looking for specific light bulbs, tubes, odd sizes and fixtures and replacement globes for vintage and antique lamp repairs. This is more than a diy build-it store. They offer kitchenware, games, books, LPs & DVDs, jewelry and wall hangings, mirrors and art. The staff will make you feel at home. Be sure to inquire about the tag color which is 50 to 75% off and changes continuously to keep inventory moving and fresh. Takes some time to see it all. Hope you get the opportunity to do just that.

Horrible, horrible, horrible. Purchased a bathroom countertop, was overcharged first off. Went to return it as it was not usable and was told it was sold with a additional cabinet....NOT TRUE. Manager was very uncooperative to say the least and basically called us liars then absolutely refused to return our money. So we left the item with them and left. Restore completely ripped us off. I will never spend another penny with them. This place is the worst.
