I came in here on 11/30/19 the day after Black Friday to exchange I product I bought that was broken upon opening it. As soon as I walked it I was met with nothing but a disrespectful attitude from Candice. She was complaining the whole time about how many returns they’ve received and she made me feel like it was my fault for returning a broken item. She then went on and rolled her eyes at me with disgust when I told her I wasn’t returning an item just exchanging one she then said “it’s the same thing” in a disrespectful tone. I was incredibly appalled that I had this interaction and just wanted others to know.

The selection is repetitive. The cashier spoke way to fast, and took a phone call while ringing me up. Not to mention, GameStop in general tends to overprice their games and have deals that outright dont save you any worthwhile money.

Just called the store from Vintage Stock parking lot about a mile away. Was put on hold. Drove to the store on hold, went inside and the only employee I saw was on her phone. Not the store phone taking my call. Asked my question, looked around for a minute, back to my car. Still on hold. Nice service.

Came in to purchase NBA 2K16, and was able to find it for a great price. However, when I took it to the counter, the cashier informed me that price was no longer valid - that sale ended yesterday. A manager was summoned and I was told she didnt have permission to overwrite the price. Very disappointed in a store that does not honor the price listed on the merchandise, and would encourage you to give shift managers a little more authorization so that they can accomplish a relatively simple task. It is not the customers fault you were advertising a sale no longer taking place, nor is it the customers fault management is unable to honor what is advertised. You have lost my business for good and I will share with others your practice of not honoring the prices on your merchandise.

I wont return to this location any time soon. Horrible experience twice in a row with the same employee. I am assuming she is a manager considering the way she was openly and rudely barking at the other employee about stickers at the register and babbling about not bothering her when she is not there with drama between two employees. She acted horribly annoyed and rolled her eyes when we came to the counter and barely even looked at us and asked the other employee to check us out. The other employee was searching for our games but kept stopping to talk to what I believe to be the manager. In the middle of our transaction the employee even stopped to whisper something to the manager. In the middle of our transaction!I am a manager of a retail store. 1 I would never be openly talking about employee issues in front of customers or allow my employees to. 2 being a manager of a retail store you are expected to show at least SOME knowledge customer service, which this girl did not. Then the manager was checking out another customer, with a headset I believe. I was baffled when she said to the customer that she isnt supposed to say this but that when the year warranty was almost up if nothing was even wrong with the item he should still come and swap them out for new ones. I cant believe the company is okay with this type of behavior. I have never dealt with anyone like this at vintage stock which will be getting my business until this rude employee is gone from this location.The first bad experience I had with her I ignored because everyone has bad days and thats understandable. But that was obviously not the issue with this girl.

Gamestop in Blue Springs, MO has an excellent staff. They are knowledgeable in the games you are looking for as well those you may not realize. Not too pushy either and that is a great thing. The current manager, Brian has put together a really great staff that learns their regulars by sight and name!

Lees Summit was out so the called this store in Blue Springs because they say that there was one in stock. They had it alright but WOULD NOT sell it to me because an employee was holding it for himself to buy later. Dont shop here.

This place is a miss. Every time i call i get put on hold and its gotten to the point they dont even ask they tell you their putting you on hold and DO it. Customer service is a hit or miss. Some of them are nice and some are not. Smaller selection. And iv bought used discs that were in horrible condition. Gamestop itself is turning to junk and their app is worse than their company. I saved a bunch of prices under their trade option in the morning and by the timei got to the store the same day the prices changed immensely. Screw this company i took my 2 reserves off and Im done with games stop. They suck anyway.

Went to this location on 11/27/18 to pick up a game that showed available on the website. Reserved it and received confirmation that it would be ready for when I arrived after 6:00 pm. I went to the store after work walked in to just employees working on freight and asked for my game. The young lady working that night said we dont stock it but have a digital code we can sell you. When I said that the website showed both new and used versions at their location with out even looking she replied its wrong. No customer service or even any attempt at checking to verify until I started to leave. She then looked at the computer inventory and said OH it says we have one but I dont know where it would be. Do not shop this location as the service is poor.

I would give them a 0 if I could we went to the call of duty preorder and were sent to the back of the line after waiting in line for 40 minutes outside because when we were there previously that day to pay off the pre order the employee at the front counter paid us out then said we will finalize that tonight and they didnt seperate anyone they waited till we waited in that whole line got to the counter and got sent right back around without a apology. Would shop elsewhere if given the choice.I asked if they had a controller in stock over the phone and they verified they had one in stock. I asked if they would hold the item for me and I would pick it up within an hour. The employee consulted with the manager and okayd it. When I arrived, the manager went to look for the item and then told me that they did not have it (the last controller must have been pre-ordered well before I made the phone call). Wasted an hour of my time for something that could have taken a few seconds of theirs to check especially considering that they werent busy. Manager offered an apology, but it was a preventable situation and for that reason I wouldnt consider coming back.

These assholes tried charging people $5 for something thats free (the Pokemon X/Y megastones). I read the email, called corporate level, and verified with 3 other Game Stops in TWO other states that this is a promotional Pokemon event and the megastones are supposed to be *free*. However, this Game Stop said that either you have to pre-order Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, OR, pay $5. Sounds like they are trying to pocket some money on the side...
