This store is fairly new, but you wouldnt know it from the way its kept!The store was a total wreck! Merchandise all over the floor, disorganized fixtures/ shelves and employees standing around talking and doing nothing to correct anything!There were two employees at the registers, one employee spraying lysol in the isles and two standing together in the back of the store, and literally all the items EVERYWHERE were being sidestepped and/or ignored!I realize in retail, stores get busy and things get put off til customers needs are met, but this was at approximately 1 pm and besides me there was only 2 other customers, so that DEFINITELY isnt what would be considered busy!

I have been going to this Dollar General for many years. When I went to check out the girl wouldnt let me write a check, said they didnt take checks and never had. I said Id always had written checks here. She refused to take it. To make a short story long. I will not be going back to this Dollar General for my purchases. I will go out of my way to shop elsewhere.

When you go to check out the clerk is either no where to be found and you ring the bell or the clerk that is working (usually 1 it seems) doesnt know how to use the register and you wait in line with multiple people in it for longer than you spent picking up the item or two

Needed some cleaning supplies. Most of the folk here now look to be new. Not friendly. Unlike the young lady that use to work. She was friendly and helpful even during the pandemic still speaking and friendly. Lately the new ones dont speak act as if they dont want to be there.

You can only enter from the back side, one entrance . On SW 19th Street only .

Great place. Good prices but the employees neglect to follow the mask requirement currently in effect but require customers to have one before entering the store. If youre concerned about this factor, take caution.

Its handy to get in and out of. A lot of the prices are less expensive than Walmart, but you do need to watch the prices. Ive noticed that the body wash is higher, but the vitamins are usually cheaper. I even got name brand diapers for my grandson cheaper.😃 Its also nice to pay a little more than fight the crowds around the holidays.

It was packed full of goods. Small space so can move quick if not trying to stay long. I seen a deal but didnt recieve it during checkout and couldnt figure out why all in all I give it a 5 out of 5 for performance of goods with competitive prices.

The Google Maps directions are NOT correct. The actual store is much further east and on the opposite side of 40.

The dressing room had a spot where someone had sat down that smelled it up. It was crowded in there with product and nice stuff. But idk.

I dont like the way my phone fixed up and thinks Ive been places I have not been. I was at the gas station close to Dollar general. I have only been to the new Dollar general one time. I think its very crowded and I dont like it. I love the old Dollar general in White oak and went there frequently even though it was very dirty and trashy. Anyway I do not go to this place anymore theres too many other options to not really like the way the store set up.

There is never enough help in this store. Usually only one person doing everything from stocking to Cashier. Always have empty shelf but carts full of merchandise sitting in aisles. Simetimes it such a mess you cant get up and the ausles.

The store isnt very organized, isles are cramped. The staff arent very helpful either.

This store is clean and the employees have been kind and helpful when i have a question. There are two or three things i shop there for and they are always in stock. On the downside; they really need to keep the aisles free of unpacked stock.

Nice local dollar general. They have great, affordable products but they tend to be cluttered and you have to wait for someone to come check you out. But the staff IS friendly.

No complaints about the products, but when I go shopping I would love to be able to feel comfortable and the employees here do not allow that. I had to listen to two employees talk about how ugly one of their employees girlfriends were and that she was scaring away all their customers how am i to shop there and not expect them to criticize my appearance in front of other costumers now?It is unprofessional and honestly disgusting.

This is a brand new store in Blue Springs. Its always got lots of stock in the aisles. Its clean ish, I do like the prices at Dollar General so I will walk through the aisles past the Overstock!

Could be cleaner but staff is kind so we will continue shopping here for snacks and last minute toys because of that kindness

I found the store was clean and well stocked and the people were friendly and helpful and no long lines

Since Im not fond of large stores like Walmart or Price Chopper, I really like the convenience of a smaller store. Yes the aisles are often crowded because they are sadly understaffed, but the employees are always very friendly.

The isles are so tight I feel claustrophobic shopping there. The workers were nice though and I found what I needed.

The building or website needs to have that the entrance is on 19th street not 40 hwy. Very misleading. Make a clearer sign. Its a new store.

Dollar General is NOT another dollar tree, I stop in when I need laundry supplies, paper goods, and cleaning supplies, but I love that I can get just about ANY other random item also, and great deals on snacks and treats!

Place was an absolute mess. Isles were cluttered and stuff not in it’s appropriate place. Staff were unprofessional as well, not rude but loud and inappropriate with each other.

Isles blocked w overstock, but what you need is not on the shelf. Employees are friendly. EBT transactions are often troublesome, causing buyers to hold up the line while every item has to be re-scanned a second and sometimes a third time.
