We have been using Penn Tech for years, the only company we could find that even knew what radiant heat (in the ceiling) was. Butch, Darla, and Mike have been the best. We wouldnt call anyone else.

Matt came out and explained everything to us he is very friendly and compassionate and understanding. our AC unit was leaking R22 and froze Matt understood that this is an emergency and He took the paperwork immediately back to Darla. I called PennTech late in the day with our air conditioner out, they were able to respond the same day to come check it out. Our technician Matt gave us a 30 minutes time frame when he would arrive, and then updated when he was on the way. Once he arrived he was very nice, walked through everything he was checking and every step he was completing. He also was very nice to my children that followed him around like puppies everywhere he went. At each point he asked if I had any questions and answered them thoroughly. Once he had completed the repair, he offered to show me anything else I had questions about regarding the system. At no time did he try to upsell me or suggest any other repairs besides what was needed to fix the issue. It was a great experience throughout the whole process from beginning to end!

We had a home built and used Penntech to install a whole house generator. They worked seamlessly with our builder to ensure the generator was up and ready for duty when we arrived. Excellent service. The customer service with this company is impeccable! We had an issue with our HVAC/Furnace not heating the home. During the first work order visit, the tech found several issue that could not be repaired that day without authorization. However, he fixed what he could, so that we would not be left without heat (that was extremely thoughtful). Within a matter of just a few short days, this company managed to get authorization from our rental agency (owner) to replace our entire HVAC system and water heater! The techs came out bright and early in the morning, removed the old, installed the new, and the tech were very respectful of our home and efficient with their work. Woke up on a Sunday morning with no heat. Checked the thermostat and breaker and was unable to find a issue. Texted a picture of the control panel to PennTech and within 20 minutes received a response that they would check to see if a technician was available. Received a call from Matt within an hour and scheduled a time. Matt was very professional, utilized safety protocol wearing a mask due. Within 10 minutes he had isolated the problem and was able to repair it within 30 minutes. I was quite impressed that on a Sunday we were able to have a technician come out and in the time frame. PennTech installed the HVAC unit a few years ago and I set up regular preventive maintenance with them. They are always responsive and professional. I find their charges to be very reasonable as well. Highly recommend Darla at PennTech.

We live in a rental property managed by Main Street Renewal. This company was sent out to work on our A/C last summer and did an excellent job. We had an issue over the weekend with our furnace and they came out this morning. The tech was super friendly and very thorough. When we own our new home we will be using them as well. Darla and her husband came up when I searched for the best hvac company in Kansas City. They were all of the 5 stars. They even worked on Sunday during the 100 degree summer. the other guys that came out, looked at my old hvac didnt spend 5 min. They said nope needed a new one for 6,000 or more, but the ones they wanted to sell me were less efficient and cost 4,000 more with 25% less efficiency. When Nutech turned on the unit, it started right up. he spent over an hour finding a 75 dollar part, they had said was dead, but Butch said it want be fine for a while although It was on 12 yrs. I had invalid in the house and no money. It lasted two more years. Leaving me time to save money for buying a Franklin from of course no one else would I want to buy from. The was the same as the hvacs in 2000 efficiency. 15 years later, Now I have the best hvac available for what they wanted for less than my Amana in 2000. My winter this year cost 33% less. It also ran down to under 10 degree outside. Every heater guy who made a offer . was asking 50% over the price. and on top of that Darla gives a lifetime of 20 years parts and labor if you service every year with them. They are very busy then at the changes of season. You will be glad you dont get a guy that over charges .

The company failed to install a furnace connection properly and we had a leak on Saturday morning. In our opinion they should of came out first thing Saturday morning, but failed to do so. This created a lot of grief for us of wondering what to do. However, they did do good about correcting the problem later.
