They never refused service to any member of the military. Basically a bunch of uneducated hicks started up the rumor mill ostensibly because they cant stand having a brown person get ahead in their isolated, backwoods community. This town had a large, active, open KKK presence well into the 70s, and is perpetually choked by chemicals pumped into the air by their paper mill. Its to be expected I suppose, but its despicable and laughable at the same time.

I am a retired USAF Lt Col. There is no way I would ever go back to this place. Anyone who does not honor American Servicemen in uniform should not have any customers. Vote the American way -- Vote with your dollars and do not spend a nickle here.
