I went on a Saturday to get my truck inspected. Setting an appointment is best. They get you in fast. Staff was friendly and explained issues and showed me what they saw. I would use again for sure.

If you provide coupons, they should be honored in full. My tires look used and were under inflated when I got my vehicle back. Havent had time to check all my fluids to make sure they are ok after my oil change.

Fast, friendly service and years of experience. The name may have changed, but its still the same friendly faces behind the counter. Ive been taking my cars to Sawyer tire, now CarX, since I was 16.

I took my vehicle here, got a few things done, they couldnt figure out what one thing was wrong with it. Brought it back in again because it was getting worse. They said I had to take it somewhere else, so I did. They fixed the problem where I took it too. But from what was wrong with it, carx would have been able to fix it. It was either overlooked, wasnt looked at or just assumed something else was wrong with it.Employees were great!

Got a tire here one time. It was great. They were kind and helpful. I was in a bit of an inconvenient spot and they got me in quickly and they were very helpful. I recommend this place with all my heart🚒 My heart is hold too, so that means a lot.

So I had tires mounted and balanced at the Hermitage MO Car X and they charged me $60.00. This place charged $150.00 for the same wheels and I even provided the valve stems.

So after using there service further i would absolutely not recommended them and would caution anyone else either.I took my vehicle there for a vibration and 3 trips and $1100 hundred later i still hadexact problem.i dont know if they were just up selling me or just incompetence.iam unfortunately thinking the ladder because they also. Put new guy on it and he stripped and over tighten the lugs so it now a bigger prob.they litteraly did nothing but take my $ and cause more problems.

Though 14 years old, I am pretty picky about not only what goes on the car but who does the servicing. Kenny, his mechanic, and tire techs I trust with my “baby” without question. Have a need? THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT PERFORM THE WORK YOU EXPECT!!2.5 weeks after I was told I would get a refund... Still no refund... I repeat, DO NOT GO TO CAR X (SAWYER TIRE) IN BOLIVAR, MISSOURI UNLESS YOU WANT TO JUST GIVE AWAY YOUR MONEY!! (Please also read resolution at end of this review) When my daughters car wouldnt start, I suspected a fuel pump issue and called around to find a place to get it repaired. Since it was a weekend, most shops were either closed or couldnt take it in. Car X (aka Sawyer Tire) was the only shop that said they could take it and would have it repaired on Monday. I knew they were higher priced than all the other shops in town, but it was my best option at the time, so I had the car towed in from out of town and left in their lot. Monday came and no phone call. My daughter called on Tuesday and they said the wrong part was sent and it would be ready on Tuesday. Tuesday ended and no car and no phone call. Wednesday, I went in and they said the second part was faulty and had to be reordered again. They apologized for the no phone call. Ive taken cars there in the past and have had decent service, although pricy compared to other shops in the local area. This, however, was beyond excuse and I wont be going there ever again. They did not bother to test or diagnose the problem to see if it was actually a fuel pump. They said, We were told to replace a fuel pump, so we replaced a fuel pump. Any decent, respectable shop would have diagnosed the problem and, if the pump wasnt the issue, called the owner and said, Its not the pump, we think its _____. Did they do that? No. Didnt even bother. So, I had the car towed out of their shop, still not running because I do not trust their inept repair skills. I am now $396.08 poorer and they are one customer shorter. Do I recommend them for any service at all? Absolutely not!! Ill say it again, DO NOT GO TO CAR X (SAWYER TIRE) IN BOLIVAR, MISSOURI UNLESS YOU WANT TO JUST GIVE AWAY YOUR MONEY!!After I got the car back home, I spent the evening going over the car and rather than the $396 fuel pump being the problem, it turned out to actually be a $60 ignition coil. Thanks for stealing my money CarX. You will NEVER see one of my vehicles at your shop again!!Resolution:After speaking with the CarX corporate office on Wednesday, I received a call on Friday from Michael, the Area Manager. Michael was very professional and sympathetic to the problem I encountered with the local CarX repair shop in Bolivar, MO. He agreed that there was a communication breakdown and a failure to recommend and offer a diagnostic service to ensure the correct repair was performed. The resolution we agreed upon, I believe was fair for both sides. He also took this as a learning opportunity to incorporate changes that should make his businesses better and his customers more satisfied. I still stand by my review of what happened, but I do greatly appreciate the way Michael resolved the problem and hope it benefits customers in the future.OVER A MONTH LATER AND STILL NO REFUND!! DO NOT GO HERE!! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT PERFORM THE WORK YOU EXPECT!!Edit... After over a month of waiting and a second complaint sent through the companys comment website, the refund has finally processed through my bank in the amount we previously agreed upon.

This place isnt really equipped to handle big truck tires, but they got me in and got a new tire on my dump truck. However, they refused to rewire the tail lights that were ripped off by the old tire that blew and I had to drive the truck all the way to Springfield like that to get the necessary repairs.

Trent was awesome! We are traveling through Bolivar and had an issue with our tires. We called and they made us a same day appointment. My husband got there about a half hour early but they went ahead and got him back early. They worked quickly and efficiently to get our tires balanced and rotated bringing our truck back to proper working order. Trent also gave my husband a veteran discount. Its been over a year since I stopped in for a vehicle inspection on a Saturday. They were so great to fit me in and complete the inspection and change out a few lights that needed to be replaced. The staff were very helpful and the waiting room was beautiful, comfortable and so welcoming. I live south of Springfield and was in town for the day and needed to get this done. If I lived closer, I would definitely choose Sawyers! Terrific experience! Thank you for giving such great service!

I really liked this place. The people were really nice and they helped me understand what I was buying. I didnt feel that I was taken advantage of, and thats very important. I did make an appointment and they got my car in on time and they got everything done in a short amount of time. I would recommend this place for all your tire needs. Michael and Kevin (Kenny the baby maker too) do a good job at customer service. Theyre seriously friendly about taking care at the initial sales and return service. I know its tough to keep the shop staffed with quality workers but the boys up front continue to grip and grin and MAKE IT RIGHT.

My mom and I were stuck because a bearing broke on our trailer while we were moving home. Even though they couldnt get what we needed, after the mechanic took a look at the issue he gave us a recommendation and then some names and numbers to call. They were extremely helpful and kind, which really helped the already stressful situation.

They were super professional and went above and beyond to make us comfortable while they were inspecting our car. They gave my kiddos juice and made age appropriate conversation. My 4 year old and 2 year old had such a good time they didnt want to leave. They made mundane inspection fun and enjoyable for the whole family.

If I could give them a zero I would. Not good. I was told that they could not align the vehicle due to bad ball joints and tie rods these would need to be replaced before alignment could be done ($700+). Granted, my daughter had hit something, and alignment was off. Took it to another place. Guess what? $70 alignment and it drives great. Took the vehicle home and checked ball joints and tie rods. All tight. Either the salesman or the mechanic is dishonest. If I would have just taken their word for it, he would also be a thief. Surely Sawyer Tire knows this is not only unethical, it is also illegal. I saw that same thing happen to several customers while I was waiting. I’ll make sure everyone I talk to will not use Sawyer Tire...Sawyer is fortunate I will just talk to other customers and not to a lawyer.

Absolutely horrible place to go for anything, cant even install tires without scratching your wheels, they tore up both my wheels that I brought in off a Crossfire refused to admit that they done it until I showed them pictures of them right before I brought them in. One of them even leaks now. the manager wouldnt even write down my name so I could get the tires taken off and installed again to fix my rims. Dont waste your time here. Plus they are known for trying to sell people things they dont need. Really went down hill after it became Car-X

The staff is friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. Pricing is reasonable and the service is excellent. I have purchased tires from them and regularly have oil changes there. If you buy their tires, your rotation is fee is free with your oil change. I have had nothing but good experiences with them.

I always bring my vehicle to Sawyer tire and would not take it anywhere else! The service is excellent and everyone is friendly. I know that when I leave my car is safe to drive and if I ever have a question the people at Sawyer are always happy to answer it for me! Best place in town!

We have brought 3 different vehicles here for tire services, oil changes, a/c maintenance, mechanical issues, etc. and they have been above and beyond awesome. Very timely and always reasonably priced. We won’t take our vehicles anywhere else. Not to mention everyone who works here is super friendly.

Had a flat bent rim, called another shop couldnt or wouldnt help as it was odd size. Not so at Sawyer, got right in and found wheel and tires for us and back on the road very fast. Good people and service.

AMAZING my new local go to spot. Went in to find out what was wrong with my car was told it would cost about $38. Was in their very brief period of time, unfortunately they could not give me a definite answer so they did not charge me, and they didnt try to upsell me anything unneeded. The best place in town! Although I live in Springfield, I do my business here. Today I had a broken underbody shield. They got me right in and fixed it. All of this without charging me a penny!!! Really nice people and a great place to do business.

Sawyer Tire in Bolivar saved me this afternoon. I found a nail in my tire and called them 4mins before they closed, on a Saturday and they said come on in and they would fix my tire. I am so appreciative of them due to I am set to leave on Sunday for a new job location and wouldn’t have made it there with the nail. Thank You for staying late!!!

Needed a wheel bearing on a ford truck...called at 1 40 on monday.. and had to have it done.. they were done by 4.. Great job...also have my oil changes done... very good bunch of guys..👍👍👍

Caught a flat on the way down to Springfield. They repaired our tire and got us on the road in less than 30 minutes. Great friendly service and there was plenty of room in the waiting area for the whole family. Thank you for getting us in and out and on our way!

They ripped me off. I got 6 new tires, an alignment, and tire warranty. First thing I noticed is they couldnt get the alignment right on my 2015 cummins, pulled way to the right. I didnt have time to stick around cause Ive waited over 3 hours at this point and had somewhere to be. They told me to bring it back in when I can. As I was already on the highway holding my steering wheel to the left, earlier I told them I wanted to keep my old tires cause they were still good and I see on my receipt that they charged me for tire disposal. I ended up selling the truck and they wouldnt refund me for the tire warranty (which they told me I could cancel at any time and get refunded), they wouldnt refund me for the unfinished alignment, or the charge of the tire disposal. I contacted them and they said they cant refund me and that the owner is on vacation (probably with the money they stole from me) and hell call me when he gets back. Well he never called, which is why I decided to write the review. Unless they refund me, I will always steer everyone that asks me about tires away from Sawyer Tire. Be careful doing business with these people.
