Took my car here to have body fixed after an accident and from the beginning it was easy and very professional to schedule and communicate with staff. Not only did they do an exceptionally well job of taking care of the car, they were supper nice and caring during the whole process. Super happy with the result of the work they did and dealing with the insurance dilemmas without the need of my help, very professionals and convenient. I took my 2016 Mazda Miata MX-5 here to replace the front bumper and they did some amazing work. I cannot tell it was replace. December was very friendly and helpful. Oysar C. did my repairs and if I need more work done in the future Id ask for him. They also had my car back to me in a very reasonable time. They even gave it a washed, wax, and tire shine.

I was pointed in their direction for an estimate after some damage to the bottom of my front bumper, in which I was told they could help me figure out options to fix it. Personally I am a very easy going and understanding person, however, I have never had an experience like this one. I felt as though there was absolutely no communication to understand the issue which prompted Donna, the person giving the estimate, to walk around my car and point out little nicks until she impertinently pointed out the “obvious” issue. In which afterwards she implied I ran over over something and caused the damaged. While explaining that I actually had no idea what happened, what the situation was, and try to communicate with her about potential options, she shut me down and told me that to replace the entire bumper and liner would cost over $1300! After casually dropping that into the conversation she wrote the report, gave it to me and broke down the $1400 cost. When trying to ask if there were any other options than having to replace the entire front of the car, which is why I was there in the first place, she responded snidely that they don’t do “half jobs” there. I only post this because I don’t want others to have the same experience, and I hope those that come here get to work with someone actually interested in helping them that listens to their needs.

I’m not sure where to start. I bought a beautiful 2020 Ford truck from Modern Ford a month and a half ago. Shortly after my wife was rear ended with my kids in the vehicle. Thankfully no one was hurt. My vehicle was taken to Modern Collision. This vehicle only has 600 miles on it. My insurance company has given me the hardest time about the repairs. Wanting to piece meal the repairs. Thankfully Jeff and Brian have stuck up for my vehicle all the way insisting it be back to brand new. The stress level trying to juggle this with a daily work schedule a wife and and children has been overwhelming. Then to find out my insurance company might I say it’s Progressive wanted me to pay money out of pocket above my deductible. Let me just say Brian and Modern Collision are taking care of me. Thank you Brian and Jeff for all your hard work.
I had a repair due to a deer hit. December was really on it, giving me a fast, accurate estimate, dealing with the insurance company and their slowness and hoops, and always communicating immediately. She and the techs even stayed late when there was a small problem after I picked up the car so I could get on the road for vacation the next morning. Thanks December!

I cannot say how incredibly helpful, kind and understanding the staff of the Modern Collision Center in Boone is! I have had to come to the center twice as a result of my car bumper getting torn off and they could not have been any nicer to me. The entire staff was incredibly kind and receptive of all my questions; they made small talk with me during the time that I was in the lobby and seemed genuinely interested in making sure that I had a good time while I was there. Not only were they kind on an interpersonal level, I felt like they were genuinely concerned with making sure that my car was fixed properly and that they did a quality job on it. The second time I came in, they did not charge me for the problem as they felt like it was their responsibility to fix without me even suggesting that they owe me anything. I think that shows REAL quality customer service and deserves to be spotlighted; its rare you find a business that cares that much about its customers and their concerns!This is a lot of words that can easily be summed into: yes, Modern Automotive Collision Center of Boone is a wonderful business that will treat you right and has not disappointed me in any capacity in the time I did business with them!
A deer hit the side of my car my car is a chevy so I looked for a chevy repair shop I thought there was a modern Chevrolet repair center in Boone North Carolina but obviously not I got them to do the work anyway they did an excellent job. Couldnt be happier with the service and body work! Heres the full story...I hit a deer with the truck a couple of days before leaving for a road trip. I needed to get the truck in the shop quickly. Because I had just bought the vehicle a month earlier, the insurance company had our vehicle Still Processing in the system. Most dealerships were recommending Hamptons. They towed my car in college (about 15 years ago), were very unfriendly, and showed no grace for an honest mistake... so I didnt want to give those crooks anymore of my money. But we have bought a few vehicles from Modern Toyota and never had a bad experience in purchasing from them. When I saw they also had a collision center, I already had an establishment of trust with the Modern name and wanted to give them my business. They were understanding to my situation and helped get my truck in. Even when one of their reps, Ashley, first saw the truck, she was noticing less-obvious dings and dents I never noticed. That was the first sign that they werent going to take shortcuts. I knew they were going to ensure everything was fixed from front to back, top to bottom--and they did just that! When I got my truck, I was in and out in less than five minutes. Friendly staff to work with and they continued to carry on the trustworthy name of Modern. Go to Modern and youll be in good hands!
Michael was a great representative for Modern. The entire team delivered ahead of schedule, and beyond my expectations. It was amazing to see how my car came out, how well they even cleaned it after the service. Great Communications, and so easy to work with. If I lived in the area, there would be no question about who I used.
I don’t usually take the time to write a review about a business. But modern Toyota collision center deserves a minute of my time. There’s a backlog at body shops around here of 3-4 weeks. They got my car in a little over a week. Shout out to Ashly my service rep. She went above and beyond her job which is a rarity these days. My car turned out awesome. They did a great job. They even washed and cleaned the car. Tried to buff out the right headlight to match the new left one. I highly recommend them. Excellence!

I am beyond pleased with the service I received at Modern! Donna Isaacs not only greeted me with a smile but with the utmost professionalism. I had a minor accident with minimal damage. The price tag would have been over $1400.00 because my lower valance was only available with the bumper cover and I needed a fog light bezel. We ordered the bezel and hoped the tech could pull out the valance. I got a call as soon as the bezel came in and set an appointment. When I arrived for the appointment my car was taken to the shop within minutes. The repair was done after 10 minutes and the result was amazing. They were able to pull out the valance & saved me over $1300.00!! I was so happy to know that Donna & this company are not all about the money but instead concentrate on customer service!
My sons golf ball ding was fixed and he was so happy. He has just moved back to Boone after 22 years in the military and he was happy. The service was excellent.

This was our third repair at Modern Collision. We were actually their first customer when they opened, and we keep going back. Chris Poe at Modern Subaru is the best service manager in the business. He recommended Donna Isaacs at Modern Collision, and Donna was excellent. She did exactly what she promised and worked well with my wife. Her communication was excellent. I am picky about these things, and she remembered and followed up on all the details that I mentioned. Matching plastic to metal on a sparkly gold Lexus (my wifes car) is not the easiest thing to do; the paint match was perfect. I have used both of the major competitors in Boone. One is terrible. The other is OKAY but not as good. Modern Collision is the best - reasonably fast (collision work takes time - for insurance, for multiple coats of paint to dry) and high quality. I highly recommend Donna and Modern Collision.9/27/2020 Update - We were so pleased with Donna and the work that Modern Collision did that we have started getting cosmetic work done on our cars - stuff that is not essential and which insurance does not cover. We are saving so much money by having our old cars refreshed rather than buying new cars. We got a door handle and gate repaired on my wifes car. Its over 10 years old, but it is as good as new now. Donna communicated very clearly and did everything that she promised to do - and more. The repair was done quicker than promised and came in much less than the estimate. What more can you ask for?
I could not be more impressed with the efficiency of Modern Toyota Collision Center. From initially taking my car in for the estimate to picking it up after it was fixed, Ashley and Linda were so helpful and great to work with. They kept me posted regularly on the progress of my car and it was ready a week earlier than it was supposed to be. The results were fantastic.
I used Modern Collision to complete work on a company vehicle. Donna Isaacs was the specialist that handled everything for this claim. She made everything professional, time efficient and communication with her was a breeze. It’s difficult enough being displaced from your vehicle and she somehow made it less painful through her awesome customer service skills. While I hope not to need services anytime soon, I would work with her and Modern directly again.

They want to work for the insurance companies more than the people who come in to get there vehicles fixed. Since the 1st posting 02/20/18 Go to bat? I am curious by what you mean going to bat? Have a representative from your facility call me and confront me about my post. I feel that you work more for the insurance company then you do a customer. The insurance company company is the one writing you the check I understand that. But theyre not the one that has to deal with any of the end result or hassle of the whole process. At the end of the day its customers giving you the reviews not the glorified insurance companies keep that in mind. That is not very professional. And that is not going to bat to earn a customers business period.

I highly recommend Modern Toyota Collision Center to anyone in need of body work on their vehicle. They were able to get me in quicker than the other body shop in town which was the main reason I took it there. They also have a warranty on their work which was recommended by my insurance company. The staff kept me informed about what was going on with my car through out the entire repair. Donna called me to tell me what progress was being done and any problems that came up. When I went to pick up my car they had washed it, vacuumed and wiped the inside down. This was the best repair experience Ive ever had. I will take my car back if it ever needs anymore body work. Went above and beyond to help me when I was stranded with a passenger window that would not go up, and parts that would not be delivered for several days. I walked in unannounced and Donna made sure my window all sealed up so I could protect my vehicle. They did not charge me, and were more than happy to help me out!
Wow!! The over the top customer service began with Jason who gave me a courtesy call before arriving to tow my sons vehicle to the collision center. This is the Taj Mahal of collision centers, btw. Donna Isaacs met me right away and offered her expert opinion. Mind you, my son carries only liability so insurance was NOT involved in our situation. Although I was prepared to pay cash to repair the car, Donna advised us otherwise, citing it was in my sons best interest to keep his money and to invest it into a new car. She called salvage companies for us and offered to facilitate the transaction at zero cost to us. Staff charged the car battery for us, Donna fielded several phone calls from me throughout the day as my son and I considered our options. In the end, we took Donnas advice after taking up a lot of her and her staffs time. Now I know why my son insisted having his car brought here. How much was our bill at the end of the day?? Zero!!

Worst place to take your car. Young techs have no idea how a car is supposed to drive . I took my jeep here and they gave me back a hunk of metal . dont take your car here. To add. Worst experience ever having car repaired after minor accident. 3 plus weeks for repairs to replace front side control arm, replace rim and tire, sunroof controls and VSC check engine light. The day I go to pick it up sunroof doesnt work and vsc light comes back on, rep shakes his head in disbelief and says hes so sorry and they will get things taken care of. I get a phone call few days later from Collision Center indicating I need to take it to dealership as they did reapirs on those 2 items. 3 days later get car back after picking up at the collision center and now the control for sliding door didnt work, rep comes out again presses buttons hears beeping noise apologies again and is not sure what is wrong. I was told to take to dealer again and in the mean time the VSC light comes on yet again. I called collision center indicating that i wasnt taking to dealer that i paid the collision center for repairs, insurance company paid you, you are responsible for repairs. I called insurance company to make complaint and they were embarrassed at the way this repair has been handled. Take your car elsewhere if you want work done, its what they are going to do anyway and then give the customer the run around when the repairs are faulty.
