We did alot of research and knew the features we wanted in a new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. We came with our own financing and worked with DJ the salesman. Edited. After speaking with the jeep Ross manager on the phone they were very friendly and did in fact apologize for any inconvenience and mistakes and refund me for my service fees . However when i arrived to pick up a check they where still like. Who did you talk to. What. It took some time. I feel they only did that much because of this very google review that the manager kept mentioning he wanted me to delete. At the time it felt good that they would do this and i am disappointed in myself for not calling him sooner to work this out. My experience with jeep ross of boone.Well youngest had trouble with his dodge neon. Check engine light . Read the codes. Said transmission output speed sensor. Looked it up and changed it. Didnt work. Car in limp mode. He opted to take it to the dealership because i was spending time on it. I said I wouldnt. So did my friends. He thought that they would be nice and tell him for sure exactly what happened. (Only a person opinion) They charged him normal diagnostic fee$120. Including $25 for materials used like gloves. Told him they had to order a list of different parts from different vendors . To rebuild the transmission. Total estimate$ 6,996.00 . Probably2 or 3 times the valueof the vehicle. i was not upset until they said he definitely needed a new radiator. I said it brand new and operates perfectly because it is 1 month old. They said for sure it would need a flow test. Another hundred. Thats when i knew how it would be. To which I replied are you trying to take an A.S.U. student for a ride. To which Dennis in the service department told me he could not believe that I would say such a thing. And got loud and aggressive. So i asked for the car back and he paid his bill. After that i went to a real great mechanic down the road who took the time to look at it and said. First check this wire since its reading 0 it is probably bad or the computer. For free. Well he was right and it runs now i opted for a new harness which was $30 at napa. ( personal opinion)I feel this bunch only caters to a select few. I am not it. Well i told a manager i would remove or change this review for my sons money back. Sounds like a bribe to bare false witness so opps i didnt. But i did edit and mentioned Steve was nice . And everything truly as it happened.

Went in for a routine service in the Fall of 2020. After service was completed I was told by the Service Advisor that my truck had a slightly torn boot, and replacement should be considered because it was only going to get worse and possibly do more damage. Decided to wait until I returned to my home state. Had my truck alignment done yesterday by a local shop and asked that a complete inspection be done of the suspension and underbody. I told them in advance that there may be a torn boot and to look for it. Guess what...no torn boot. Even asked to see the boots myself and although they showed some wear, absolutely no tears. Be careful with ROSS.

I contacted this dealership and presented my offer/information to purchase a vehicle. We were not close in numbers but I started, in my favor, where any customer would when trying to buy a car. However, a standard formula offer was presented to me and we were thousands off. Of course, I wanted to see how far they would go and then I would decide what my move would be as far as a down payment. I was promised a call back the following day. A week has nearly passed and still no call. Guess they have all the money they need.

I called on Saturday to make sure the part had come in and since that specific department closes at 1pm on the weekends the guy I spoke to made sure our last name was on the part and left it with the fromt desk so we could get it.

While traveling i had two warranty issues with my jeep one made it unsafe to drive and the other was eletrical. Two other jeep dealerships acted like they didnt care and barely took the time to speak with me. One of those dealerships didnt even have the time to give me a quote or guidance on five new tires. However Ross service department was able to get me in and repair both issues in the same day. Gave me help with tires and brought my jeep around to the front door for me. Unfortunately, I have to do this. I was corresponding with a sales person here through text. I was as honest with them as I could be about what I was looking for. I even told them I had an offer of the exact vehicle I was looking at from somewhere else for $300 less. Their response was, Ill match that offer, BUT you HAVE to buy today. I already said I wouldnt be buying today. So I set up an appointment for a test drive, and when we got there, we were totally ignored by everyone in the building. After finally getting someones attention, I was told, oh Im sorry. Someone just now put a deposit to hold that car until tomorrow. Typical car salesman shenanigans.
Oil change and air up tire, including the spare tire. Asked service tech three time if he was sure the tire pressures were checked, including the spare, he assured me that they were. After retrieving my Jeep, I asked the mechanic who actually did the work and he informed me that he may have overlooked the spare. We then proceeded to actually sit up the spare as originally requested. I then asked him if all of the other four tires were checked. He assured me that they were as air pressure warning lights indicated a low pressure issue in two tires.Being in a rush, I left and the vehicle tire pressure gauge was observed for approximately 15 miles. The warning lights went off but indicated four different pressures for four tires!The next day I checked them again and there was five pounds difference in the lowest versus the highest pressure. None reflected the requested air pressure!Thought about taking my vehicle back to Ross but got out my trusty air pressure gauge, invested $1.50 at the corner self service air pump and filled all four tire again myself!A week later the air pressure in all four tire has remained constant with no leaks and no warning lights!How utterly disappointing to pay good money for such shoddy service!Won’t be going back to Ross for tire service!What a ripoff!
While I was on vacation in Boone NC, I drove past Ross Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram and saw a Ram 4500 with a diamond plate body on it. I turned around and looked at it. Now one thing I dislike is car shopping, which we had been doing for the past several months. So i got out and started looking at the truck knowing that the sales people were going to swoop out and try to sell it to me. But that never happened, I was able to look at it, I mean really look at it, sit in it, throw the kids in it, My wife and I were shocked, no sales people, in fact we had to go get one. After Josh let us take it for a test drive, by ourselves, we wanted it! The Salesman Josh was unbelievable to work with. (many of the other dealership and sales staff that we had went to prior to this experience could learn a lot from Josh!!) It was so simple and easy from sales to fiancing, no pressure at all!! We live up on top of a local mountain . Everybody at the dealership bent over backwards for my wife and I. We are from Virginia Beach and was here on vacation. Our 2012 dodge Durango developed a bad driveshaft while there. We were left with no option but to trade it in. They knew it and could have taken us, but instead they gave us a very great deal and treated us with open arms. Thank you all we love our 2014 Ram 2500. Again thank you Adam our sales man, Steve the man with the money, I also want to thanks Service for trying their best to find me the driveshaft I need to get back home.

Great experience purchasing our Jeep here. However, I do have an issue with your Express Lane oil changing service. We were told we could receive 4 free oil changes, but it seems almost impossible because 1) you do not allow appointments, 2) this service is closed on weekends, and 3) today we were told it would be a THREE hour wait for an oil change in the Express Lane. This is just not feasible for people who work.

My wife and I have been anticipating the release of a certain new Jeep for months. We called Ross and spoke with the sales manager about ordering a new Jeep. My first impression of the sales manager was that he was a little pushy, but understandably so (car salesman). A sales associate was quick to reply with a fair offer. In being a proactive and responsible consumer, I called around to a few other dealership to get the best price. Ross was in the top 3, so I called the sales associate back to see if there was any wiggle room in the price. The sales associate was very polite and courteous and told me he would check with his sales manager. A few minutes later I was contacted by the same sales manger from before (this is where good customer service ended). The sales manager was EXTREMELY rude and condescending. He made the statement that he wasnt going to get in a bidding war and if I didnt like his price I could just go somewhere else. He did not even have the professional courtesy to refer to me as sir, as he continued to call me bro. He could have easily said sir, there really isnt any wiggle room in the original quote i gave you, it truly was our best offer. He would have conveyed the same message without talking down to me. Though price is a big factor is buying a $45,000 vehicle, respect and overall treatment of potential customers is equally important. No amount of savings is worth being treated poorly, talked down to, and disrespected, especially when you are the one holding the checkbook.
The process was fast and stress free with the help of Josh Ward. I knew what I wanted and Josh took care of everything in a professional matter. Great place!

My husband negotiated a deal in writing and has the emails to prove it. We asked what time we could come in to do the paperwork and the car had been sold to someone else in the past hour. They took the keys from our hands and gave them to someone else. We had bought two other new vehicles from Ross in the past, and we trade and buy new vehicles often. It seems that they may have negotiated a higher price than what the Jeep was sold to us for and didnt care that we were loyal customers. Will never buy there again.

The shop replaced my radio/ navigation, but forgot to perform oil change and general service.
So as I begin this review, I want to say that I gave Ross the benefit of the doubt even as many people told me that it wasnt worth my time to go there. That being said, I wasted my time bringing our Wrangler there for a warranty repair on an axle seal. I called to schedule an appointment and described the services needed. When I went to the appointment the guy behind the desk (pretty sure it was the same guy who i talked to on the phone) spent 20 minutes wandering around to find the right people to ask about my issue. Once he finally found someone who knew more than him, he proceeded to tell me that they did not get the part in on the parts truck that morning.. Okay, thats annoying(since i left work to bring the Jeep over) but not a deal breaker. They took my number and promised to call when said part came in. A week has passed and I have yet to receive the call from them. I even called to check and was placed on hold then hung up after waiting. Meanwhile, I got an appointment at Empire in Wilkes and they had it in and out the next day.I know this review is long, but believe the things you hear. This place is not worth your time. Make the drive to Empire.

We have purchased two Ram 1500 trucks from Ross, a 2015 and a 2017. The buying experience was hassle-free in both cases. The first truck was negotiated via email because we lived out of state at the time. No problems. The second truck was purchased after we moved to NC. Again, the sales person, the sales manager, and the finance person were great. Both trucks had minor glitches that were taken care of promptly. We have had no problems with the service staff and the parts department was able to locate a part and get it installed next day to save a vacation. There were minor recalls that were dealt with smoothly. The dealership is bright, airy, clean, and comfortable if you have to wait for your vehicle. Every persons review is based on their experience and their perception of the professional demeanor of the people they deal with. This review reflects my personal experience.

Easy Easy Easy! Worked hard with our limited credit and made our first real car buying experience very pleasant. We dealt with both Brett and Nick. Both were great and very personable. If you are looking for a car buying experience that is warm, friendly, fair, low pressure, and one of a kind then I highly recommend going to see Brett and Steve Silver at Ross Chrysler Jeep Dodge. Brett was friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating, and was more like meeting a long lost buddy than a car salesman. From start to finish I never felt like Brett was just trying to sell me a car. Instead he built a rapport that made me a friend of the dealership and a customer for life. I would gladly drive the two and a half hours from Spartanburg, SC again to do business with Brett. His brother Steve Silver handled the back office part of the deal and was quick and fair in our negotiations. I was never left sitting awkwardly for 10 or more minutes like most dealerships do while they work the numbers, and instead received word on my offers within minutes of submitting them through Brett. Steve also did my paperwork and was quick and diligent with the process making sure he explained everything in detail, and making sure I understood the entire process. Steve also made me feel comfortable and like a friend, and not like I was signing my life away as some dealerships I have dealt with in the past do. Overall this was the most satisfying car buying experience I have ever had (Dealership or Private Party), and I would highly recommend Ross Chrysler Jeep Dodge and Brett and Steve Silver. On a side note, I have purchased 24 personal vehicles to date in my lifetime, and this is my first ever review and the first time I have ever felt compelled to write such a review.

Amazing service!! Everyone worked hard to get us in our new Dodge Journey (which I absolutely love) when we had to come back to have our tires balance and rotated Bret gave us a car to explore Boone in and got our Journey back on the road in a blink of an eye. Thank you guys!!

I called to schedule an appointment to have my car detailed and some staining removed from the interior roof and seats of my Jeep. Upon arrival, they could not find my appointment or any information I had given them. When returning the next day to pick up my Jeep, the car was clean, however no attempt had been made to the roof, the seats are still dirty, and I have found several areas that werent even touched. I was able to clean some of it by myself, but I feel that this shouldnt be the case considering I am literally 9 months pregnant and paid well over $200.00 to have this service done. I would gladly pay to have a good job done and more if additional work is needed. Very dissatisfied with their results for the price.
