The custom shutters are very worth the wait. It changes the whole appearance of the room. They are very well made, feeling sturdy and with quality product. The installation was very well done and he did a great job!

From the design phase of the new closets for my home to their installation, Appalachian Blind & Closet Co. was outstanding. Lauren assisted creatively with the design and was knowledgeable and detailed in her approach. She shows great potential as a designer and should be encouraged (and funded) to pursue further training. Both Miles and Lauren assisted with the closet installation and it was flawless. Miles is very dedicated and detailed oriented and any further training invested in this employee would pay large dividends. They both worked all day tirelessly and very diligently, even making sure that the work area when they left was as clean as when they arrived. I would recommend this company without reservation due to their outstanding helpfulness and professionalism.

We were very pleased with the Hunter Douglas Blinds we purchased through Appalachian Blind & Closet Co. My husband and I ordered approximately 22 blinds, 6 of which were for French doors/glass sliding doors. Appointments were all confirmed by email and all quotes and bills were detailed and accurate. This is a well-run company committed to excellent customer service. In our opinion, it is worthy of a five star review.

Appalachian Blind and Closet was an excellent company to work with. I had read the reviews and found that they were exactly as people had described them. I met a friendly, helpful staff at their office in Boone. I described the windows I needed to cover and told them the look I wanted. They showed me several options and had great ideas. They came to our house and we decided on treatments that stayed within our budget, but look like we spent lavishly. The beautiful shutters they put in our bedroom have transformed the room. It has the light and look of an island resort. The right window treatment makes a room and these people know how to do that in the best way.

I am so pleased with my blinds. They have made our home look so cozy and very pretty.

We had Appalachian Blind and Closet Co. come and install blinds in our log home in July. Prior to having them installed the sun would beat through our windows making it unbearable to sit and watch TV or even do anything in the great room. Temperature would climb to mid-80’s and air conditioning would be blasting. After we had blinds installed the temperature would stay around 72 during that same time period. Our electric bill went down almost $100 for the month. We are beyond happy. They are very professional and did an amazing job. Loved them so much we’re having them back out to do our sunroom!!

We had a double wide closet size pantry in a galley kitchen and needed exra storage space. This was not a large job but Lauren at Appalachian Blind & Closet took the time in the store and at our home to give us the best possible design. The installer was on time to install the shelves and did an excellent job. The design was the single best decision we have made to improve the kitchen.

We have had exceptional 5 Star service from all the staff At Appalachian Blind & Closet, Greg, Chad and culminating in three different visits from Johnathan for installations in the three separate parts of our home. We enjoyed Johnathan visits because his installations have always been done ‘right first time’.

We used Appalachian Blind and Closet Co to install screen and roller shades in our home. They were very professional in all aspects. They spent a lot of time with us in the store to help and advise on which blinds to pick out, came to the house to measure and again helped with blind selection, ordered the blinds and installed them about 2 weeks ahead of schedule, identified a flaw in the one blind and re-ordered it before we even noticed, replaced the blind and changed out the color of the brackets on one of the blinds at no charge. Each time we had an appointment, a confirmation email was sent with the name and photo of the person to expect. We were very impressed with their products and level of service, will definitely use them again, and highly recommend them.
