Food was delicious and the beer selection was great! Only had one problem: I really liked the ODB glasses they use to serve their beer and asked my server if they sold them. He said they did and they put one on my tab and wrapped it up. I get home and I have a glass from some place called Benchmark? What’s that about??

If you are on that side of town, stop in. Fine selection of beers and wine. If you are on the other side of town, hit Peabodys. Staff seems more knowledgeable and always game to talk beer, wine and music.

We always make a point to stop here when we are in town. The beer and wine selection is extensive and the snacks make it the perfect one-stop-shop for a day on the trail or cruising down the parkway. The staff is knowledgeable about their inventory and this is one of our favorite spots for local products!

A quick stop into this joint left me wanting to come back for more. There are so many varieties of beers here that I could spend hours looking through the wine and beer and I cant even count how much time I could take devouring the selection.The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable too. This is definitely a great place to visit.

Great beers and service

They have a great selection of craft beers, wines, drink accessories and awesome snaks. The guys who work here will always answer your questions you may have about the beers in case you dont know about them. I always like to come here if I feel like getting some good beer. Definitely recommend. Good location easy to walk to from King Street and easy to notice! They always have awesome custom welcome signs on the outside that make you belly chuckle.

A dream come true for anyone who loves a brew. A wide selection for fanatics and a friendly and knowledgeable staff for those less informed! I was able to find my favorites, something for my picky girlfriend, and got some great advice on canned wine.The owner was there and had a nice chat with me, absolutely will be coming back.

Staff is fun and entertaining. They know their stuff. They are all in school for fermentation sciences after all. Pretty good selection of local items besides beer and wine. When you get bored in there just walk upstairs to a pretty cool shop.

Great variety

This is a great beer and wine shop in the downtown area (they also have growlers!). Every week there are new beverages to check out. The hours are not correct on the Google page. Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 9am-12am, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 9am-1am and Sunday 12pm-10pm. Benchmark is only closed on Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day(no matter what the web says!). If you are downtown stop in and get a Growler to take home.

Controversial opinion:Granted, I’m still a little angry at the moment, but Benchmark just uncharged me $5.I enjoy PBR, out of respect, so I wanted to give their new craft beer a try. I paid $11 for a 4-pk at Benchmark. Twenty minutes later, I see the same 4-pk for $5 at HT. I called Benchmark to see if I could return the beer, but even w/a receipt, the would not accept a return once it’s left the store.I like Benchmark. I enjoy craft beer, and the dudes there are pretty nice. I’ve given them good business, but now I feel kind of jipped
