Very nice facility and people. I have rarely been greeted so nicely in a grocery store. Besides their people, product selection, produce, deli was really nice and welcoming as well.Only thing I saw that could be improved: breads… they all looked pretty squishy and industrial, even in the bakery section.

I used to enjoy frequenting their in-house cafe for a fast and affordable lunch, but as the saying goes it’s the people that make the experience. To the management of Publix, please consider speaking with this older gentleman who’s regularly started live streaming their internet talk show about taboo topics. I’m all for the 1st amendment, but as an upscale private business, it reflects poorly on your character to allow such colorful content being discussed in your establishment. Perhaps you’re unaware of this individual, however consider this review as your eye opener. If you turn a blind eye to such an issue, it’s only a matter of time before someone’s running three card monte from the changing table in the restroom.

After shopping at Publix for 40 years, I just had my first horrible customer service experience at this Publix. 😠. The guy at the deli rolled his eyes at my daughters order and nastily threw the sub together. Then, the cashier was unfriendly, did not greet us, and threw our groceries around. She over- packed the plastic bag then said to me: I packed everything in one bag for your convenience. How could she have known what I would have found convenient? She made no eye contact and did not engage except when necessary.Does Publix allow this just because this is a college town?

Spacious, clean, always well-stocked. Employees seem happy, for people working retail. Best grocery in Boone.

As usual, with all Publix Super Markets, we had a very pleasant experience. Clean, well stocked, and very helpful with friendly employees. We enjoy the variety and quality their choices. Had occasion to visit the restroom and found it clean and fresh. Ive shopped with Publix from the Mountains to the Coast of NC never having a bad or disappointing experience.

Wow this is the place! We had been driving all day and needed a couple of items. We have never been to Boone and we have not been in this Publix before. I have never been in a place where the people were so helpful and friendly, we found what we were looking for (phone charger), one of the employees even checked to ensure that it worked and pointed us to the remaining items we needed.Publix is a gold standard, WalMart if you want to see what you are missing please drop by the Publix in Boone NC. If you are ever in or near Boone, Publix has everything, great prices and some of the nicest people we have ever met.

Clean, easy to navigate, and has many things you cant find in other markets. Their store brand of yogurt is good also. Not the best parking lot to get in and out of

My brother worked here and he got hurt on the job, he told them immediately he was hurt, they told him to take a few days off instead of sending him to a doctor. He went back to work a few days later and he told his superior that he was still in pain instead of sending him to a doctor, they sent him home then told him you cant come back without a doctors note. He went to the doctor and his injury is not covered by workmans comp bc Publix did not send him to the doctor immediately and its to late to report. So he contacted Publix and they made him sign a resign and sign a form. Im going above their head on this and contacting headquarters and I will not be shopping this location ever.

I worked for Publix for many years in Fla. Fort Myers, Fran was deli manager . I miss working for this company. They were like family. It felt exactly the same walking in this Publix store in Boone NC. Everything was clean, everyone had a smile on their faces. The selections are amazing, fresh produce,top notch, I couldnt find a thing to complain about if I wanted to !! The best grocery store ever !!!

Great stop while on vacation at this Publix. It had an excellent selection of ready to heat and eat meals in the deli area. It was clean and well stocked.

Theyve got their customer service way above other local grocery stores. Youll always be greeted and offered help from most of the employees in the store. Very impressed with Publix.

Publix is large and clean. It’s always got a great selection of produce. I ordered a cake and the staff was very helpful. Their hot soups are amazing. My only caveat is that they still “allow” people who don’t wear masks in. Allow is in quotes because they’re trying at least. We all know people abuse the “medical condition” exception and get by. I wish they would crack down and just defer those people to curbside. Would make the space a little safer.

I was incredibly impressed with the selection of take home premade meals ad well as their cakes/sweets. We found just what my daughter wanted to eat for her birthday dinner and finished it off with a delicious carrot cake. Will definitely shop here again.

Yay Publix!But, why are the subs not great at this location? I literally received 3 rings of banana peppers, 3 slices of jalapeno and a few shreds of lettuce on my half sub I got for pick up. Is this a Covid thing (lack of supplies etc)?Also its very pricey. Similar prices to Whole Foods in Boulder, CO where cost of living is much higher and min wage is almost double what it is here in NC. Student Discount helps but...

Publix is a great grocery store. They have a newsstand that better than any in Boone. Great selection of snacks. Checkout is great. Recently found a USB outlet device that has worked great.

Huge store with a great selection, alot to choose from and shop for. I didnt get to shop through the whole store 6ut it appears emaculant with great fresh sliced cheese and meats at your desired cut! So from what I seen it was great and I hear great things a6out this store as well so check out for yourself.

This is a very nice newer store the layout is great and the staff seems to know where every little thing in that store is located. Store was well stocked and not as busy as I expected being right before Christmas. They had plenty of fresh baked pies and cookies in the bakery despite it being the afternoon of Christmas eve.. Publix never disappoints no matter where it is located.

BEWARE! Got a Birthday Cake for my 7 year old daughter. Inside the cake was a SHARP rigid piece of plastic (looked to be the corner of a plastic box). Attempted to contact Publix twice about my concerns and they have yet to contact me back... Which IMO means they do not care... Stay away!!... This piece of plastic could have done some damage if 1 of the kids had eaten it!

Every thing about this store is perfect. SERVICE SERVICE AND SERVICE again, room to move, safe feeling from COVID, great prices and great product selections and quality. They have set the bar high for their competition. Good luck

As usual with Publix, the store is always well stocked and staff are very friendly. They have a clear system for sanitizing carts and actually enforce the mask mandate, making me feel safe shopping here.

Stopped here on a visit to Boone, NC with friends and was pleasantly surprised to see that this location offers a student discount! Its not a lot but every bit counts for us students. I really hope this spreads to more locations. The staff here is excellent. Wish I had gotten their names but they helped us locate several items. Highly recommend this Publix. 👌

This is my go to Super Market when we come from Florida into the state of North Carolina. Besides grocery shopping, I use their Pharmacy for all my medication needs. This place has everything and more. If it is a little more expensive, its worth it. The best hot bar ever. They also got subs or chicken sausage any side you can think of 10 different kind of soups. Best beer selection for the price.and they have every kind of meat on earth lol. I love publix.
