In the not too distant past I needed some minor computer work performed. Recently my 13 year old computer died so I asked BJ to custom build a new machine for me. The staff completed the build in one day, and I was able to get my system back up and running in short order.These guys are very professional and extremely polite to work with. They listened to my needs and gave me their suggestions and opinions on what would be best for me at the best price. I am very pleased with the work and the price as well. I retained Dougnet to convert our home to high speed fiber optic internet. BJ Maynard was in charge of the project. He designed and installed a system of wired access points that provide wireless coverage throughout our three level home, 3 car garage and workshop. Additionally he installed Ethernet connections to our three televisions to prepare for the switch from Directv to Skybest fiber optic tv. BJ was on sight the day Skybest activated the fiber optic service for voice and internet and had the new system up and running in no time. He even made a Saturday morning revisit to deal with a problem that popped up with the old Directv system. I highly recommend Dougnet and BJ Maynard. I plan to use them for any future projects.

I needed to replace a charger for my laptop. Dougnet was listed in the HP website, so I called got great directions and stpped by. The people were great they verified what I needed had it in stock and tested it on my computer to assure everything was fine. This is a great place with knowledgeable and personable people .

Dougnet is a blessing for riding out the Covid Pandemonium in Boone. I was desperate to recover the all the pdfs from the disc drive data from a dead computer (spilled water on my brothers laptop). Dropped it off the computer w/ a 20 dollar 128g thumbdrive from Wally. They called a week later, they had recovered the whole DD for 80 bucks. They could have charged me triple, and I have held my tongue. God I love this town!!!!

Total rip off, rude, arrogant really they dont do anything after talking with them that the free 390 system does on your computer. I have been paying for service for 10 months now Im told they are nonnected with my computer only my husbands. So mined has not been being protected for 8 of the 10 months. and that I must have done something to disconnect. But no refunds because I supposedly uninstalled the system? I have not used the computer for 10 months I have been using my husbands because of my difficulty getting down the stairs. and if someone gave me a million bucks I couldnt do that if I tried. The arrogance and telling me no refunds and rudeness of the young man I talked to was over the charts. I would not recommend this company at all

Woke up to a blue screen :( Hard drive failure :( Had someone else look at it but they said it was not repairable-DEAD, therefore all my work was lost (my backup was also damaged). My laptops charging port was broken andI had gone to another place to have them take a look, they told me that the motherboard needed replacing and it was cheaper to buy a new laptop.I decided to get a second opinion before purchasing another laptop and someone at school told me about Dougnet.The guys at Dougnet guys were very nice and helpful they fixed my laptop at an affordable price, I am very happy with their work.

My laptop would not turn on at all and Dougnet quickly found out the internal power function had been disconnected. They also cleaned up my computer and now it runs much faster. They even went the extra mile to check up on me a few days later just to make sure everything was alright.

I found Dougnet after my school recommended them and I love them. I spilled a beer in my laptops keyboard working on a project one night and had to get my palm rest replaced and then eventually my motherboard. They helped me find a cheap but reliable palm rest from one of their vendors as well as worked alongside me and HP to replace my motherboard (which they somehow convinced HP to do for free thanks to my warranty) and were extremely patient with me as I stressed and called them also daily. I highly recommend them to anyone, especially students, for their computer repairs.

I took my daughter computer to get it looked at I was never told was was exactly what was wrong with it so I got it home took the back off the speakers were gone I called them to ask about it they said oh yeah we forgot to tell you they said they threw the speakers away I didn’t believe them I don’t know about anyone else but I work hard for my money when it feels shady it most likely is I will never recommend this place to anyone if u do I recommend you take the back off and take detailed pictures of your computer thank you Edward Harris.

I recently experienced the sudden and complete crash of my main work machine. Doug and his team at Dougnet (Scott/Nathaniel/Sean) did a fantastic job for me, going way beyond what they would have had to do to make sure my new machine was running right and that everything was in order. They were even able to save my data in spite of my not having a current back-up file to work from. They set me up with Carbonite for back-up to a secured server and installed a fantastic anti-virus program which they administrate themselves! I was looking for a new or used laptop for $500 or less. I explained what I was looking for in a computer, and Doug gave me good advice and a good price on a Lenovo ThinkPad. He gave me a credit for a clunker old Dell laptop that I traded in and they transferred all my old files for me and nicely set up the new computer with a customized package of utilities and programs. And they did it all within 24 hours, even working an hour late so I could have my new computer over the Easter weekend. From talking to Doug I gained confidence that he and his crew know their stuff and are technically adept. I was pleased with the service and the price.

BJ was amazing. I came in with a poor partial install from Best Buy Geek Squad on a new computer. BJ rescued all my files, folders and data from the old crashed computer and transferred over EVERY BIT OF DATA from my old crashed computer to the new one. I am a remote employee of Scott Gelfand, P.A., an attorney in Coral Springs, Florida. My computer became a victim of the Black Screen of Death a little over a week ago. We took it in to BJ at Dougnet on Monday, and he started diagnosing the problem almost immediately. It turned out that there were many infections and additional problems besides the black screen. BJ estimated that the computer would be repaired and available by Friday, and quoted a reasonable price. The computer was repaired by Friday, and the price did not exceed the quote. I recently was shocked to find that my external hard drive had somehow gotten corrupted and I could not access any of the pictures I had stored on there. I was creating a graduation video for my son and didnt have much time to lose. I contacted Dougnet, explained the situation, and mailed my external HD to them. Within days they had recovered every picture, put them on a new HD and mailed them back. I completed my sons grad video in time and am so thankful they could recover my pictures!
