This is the rudest place in Boone, not to mention their mask mandate even if youve been vaccinated. I thought the figurines of Biden, Harris and Kamala should have been a sign. Keep your politics and merchandise a few doors down is much better and no death trap masks needed. Dont waste your money here.
The Shoppes at Farmers on King Street in Boone is a great place to get unique and cool gifts for just about anyone on your shopping list. I really like the selection of different items that they have available and I was able to find several items that were perfect for someone. I really like how the store is layed out with different sections and it is fun to see what is around every corner. They are well worth checking out for quality gift items.
This store is very disrespectful, rude, and nosey
Just some overpriced tourist Knick knacks
Some cool tourist stuff but their Free Trump Hate pins did it for me. Why promote hate regardless of which way you vote? As a business taking a stand, they helped me save some money. No sale.
When you use the ADA law to actively discriminate against those with a disability, I cannot support you. Even the anti-icecream signs on the chairs out front were mean. What a hateful establishment.
Cute store with a variety of items. Got some socks, and was tempted to get an oven mitt. Staff was very friendly. I like the fact that they actually enforce the mask mandate!
One stop shop for Christmas shopping. Something for everyone on your list. Unique gifts! Love this shop all year long!
The store had nice items, but the lady who runs it was very rude. The store closes at 6 and if you don’t want nasty comments thrown at you leave early. I was still shopping at 6:05 and she came up to me while I was on the phone saying, “If you aren’t buying anything and are just talking talking on the phone you need to get out.”
Love the amazing deals.
This neat little store in downtown Boone had such a variety of things! They had everything from Lilly Pulizter planners to essential oils! They had one of the largest selections of Melissa & Doug that I have ever seen! They also had lots of nice clothes and jewelry to choose from! They had some off the wall items too, like crab pinchers and cat paws for your fingers! I would definitely visit this store again on my next visit to Boone!
Farmers Hardware is an amazing place to shop in downtown Boone. They have multiple vendors setup inside selling everything from jewelry, artwork, clothing, gift ideas, accessories, food/kitchenware and more. Great gift ideas for any Appalachian student or alumni as well. Great and clean public restrooms if you need to use them while shopping.
The name of this place is fairly misleading. It sounds like nuts and bolts, but no such thing. This is very fun place to shop with a wildly eclectic selection of gifts, or treats for yourself.Theres something different around every corner, and there are lots of corners! Some of them come from local artisans and some from established retailers. There are hats, jewelry, clothing, baby items, home decor, kitchen items, furniture, etc. Whatever you want, its probably in there somewhere. There is so much stuff that you may miss a lot of it, unless you have a long time to spend. The store is cheerful and so are the people that work there. We stop there every time were in town, its one of our favorites.
Has just about anything you need and a lot of what you dont but hey its cool. Lots of neet arts woodwork etc. Clothing. Weird stuff. Love the beer and wine shop in the basement. Great stock and wide range of tastes. Lots of different shops mixed in together. Cool place just to browse.
Not at all as to what I expected. This town along with many in this area have lost their tradition & and losing their historical value. New modern hipster products.
One of my favorite places to shopLove the amazing deals. They have everything you could ever want or needIf you are in the area stop inClothing, jewelry, designer shoes and boots at a fraction of retail cost, accessories and lots more
I remember when it was the old farmers hardware. We would always stop there for hardware needs. I guess another shop bought it and is using the historic building?
Not a very friendly place. Will never go there again.
Great local art and gifts, got the greatest crab clock!
Very expensive shops here. Didnt buy anything for being so pricey. Candy was run of the mill and $22 per pound. Winter clothing was also average and very expensive. It was very disappointing to find this in such a quaint country setting.
The store has a really awesome selection of stuff but the cashier was rude and made nasty comments towards me because I asked her a question.
They have nice things you cant find anywhere else, but are very pricey! Bring plenty money if you expect to buy.
Loved my purchases! Great variety!
Love the Lilly Pulitizer section!!
Lots of items with very non appropriate sayings
Plenty of cool items...
Feed place to look for gifts.
Not really a hardware store, but tons of toys and gifts.
Awesome selection!!
Awesome stuff, lots of it.
