Large selection of unique foods, produce and drinks. Atmosphere is much more welcoming than typical grocery stores. The card readers make the sound of a Turkey gobbling when instructing you to pull it out.

Lowes Foods is one of my favorite grocery stores in the entire Southeast. Its great because it has so much fresh produce. But, my favorite part is the fact that they will cut your produce for you if you ask. Im terrible at cutting certain produce, like pineapple. They do it for you, no problem!

Lowes Food on 421 in Boone adjacent to the movie theater at Hwy 194 intersection is a great store. Did you know that they have local arts and crafts and games starting back up again after COVID 19 soon.... And you can sip on a beer or savor a glass of wine while enjoying the activities or just chat with a local. And Lowes Food supports the community food banks. Best fresh meat butcher in town... Check em out! 👍👌😊

One of the better grocery stores in Boone and one of the more upscale Lowes, locations with the Beer Den up front. The Beer Den isnt always staffed (which makes economic sense) but the hours of operation have expanded to what it was pre-COVID. Watch out for prices in the beer aisle, as the advertised price isnt always what rings up. I take a phone pic of the price tag/sign just in case. Also, if you get 6 bottles of wine, check to make sure you get the 10% discount. Ive found this often doesnt happen automatically.

Awesome grocery store with an elegant seating area and bar within. I was very impressed with the amount of local products. Not many grocery stores can claim to be a one stop shop for not only groceries, but unique gifts. We often stay at the Country Inn & Suites just across the road from the Lowes in Boone which makes it incredibly convenient when vacationing.

Probably a one-off, but ran in this morning for a few things before work. Only had one cashier, who had to repeatedly walk to the service desk while waiting on one customer, and when they finally opened the self check, only one if the machines was working. They got a second one running, but not a place to go for one or two things in the morning. Probably a rough morning, but definitely be aware if you need to just grab one or two things before work.

I love this store!!! We are from Florida & Publix is our favorite but Lowes was Fabulous!!! It really was a shopping experience!

Forget Publix in Boone. This store has truly diversified and has become a foodie emporium. Their seafood choices alone are worth a visit. The produce is also a cut above. BRAVO Lowes!

Love going to the store its right beside my office and very convenient but went in and got some great stuff from the deli some cranberry chicken salad and some rotisserie chicken salad broccoli salad all of which were great stores clean lots of nice things to choose from nice beer cave and bar setup in the middle of the store to the right and I would recommend

Went for the beer den, what a concept...get a beer and shop for groceries. Except they won’t let you walk around with the beer any more....because of Covid? Anyway, great selection for a store in the mountains.

Great store with lots of variety and decent international food sections. 4 stars just bc Lowes is more expensive than other area grocers such as Food Lion. However Lowes offers a more upscale shopping experience.

I live up 194, so its location is great for needing to quickly run to the grocery store for something you cant find anywhere else. But its also the most expensive grocery store Ive shopped at. Harris Teeter is cheaper. If you have to get groceries I recommend somewhere else. But if you just wanna grab sushi, or food from their (really nice) deli, and a pint at their own beer garden, then go for it! Wont be disappointed.

One of the best varieties of groceries in Boone. A little more expensive than some of the other grocery stores if you dont hit their deals. Ethan in the Seafood/Butchery is super helpful.

Expensive af!!! There name is a front yall!!!! There easter candy that sells for $2.50 each bag is regular 6$ at Lowes Foods and with discount using my Lowes food card it still costed well close to 5$ for one bag of easter candy and my question is why are they called Lowes if they charging almost twice the price of walmart on some items? It was disappointing I dont hate all their prices but honestly I was disappointed by more than half of their prices but friendly people work there so ty for that

Always friendly and a great selection of fruit and vegetables as well as whatever else I need.

The only beef I had was a few lines were a bit long today. Theres not much of a way to fix that so I think I will up my review.

A big shout out to Lowe’s Food for saving Thanksgiving. Could not find any oysters throughout Boone until arriving at your place five minutes till nine on Wednesday. Thanksgiving wouldn’t be the same without oyster dressing.

It is a cool grocery store. The deals can be annoying. You have to have a lowes card to use the deals. The store itself is in a decent spot and they have many choices. It has its own unique style when you walk around and you can find many unique items on their shelves.

More expensive though they do carry many items that other stores dont. I appreciate their salad and Soup Bar. Its great to be able to run in and make a salad or pick up soup on your lunch break.

A+++++. Fantastic store. Very friendly staff and very clean store. This store offers so much. Its absolutely fabulous. Beautiful setup inside and awesome presentation. My only advise as a tourist in town is 3 things: One, to perhaps make the exterior, front of the store pop so to speak or dazzle. Unless I had gone into the store I would never have imagined just what was behind the front doors. Amazing! I personally feel that this store wins hands down over all others in town. Two, have the coffee ready by 7:30 in the morning. Its great coffee but it isnt always ready for breakfast so I have to go elsewhere. Three, lose the store discount card, discontinue it. Too many stores and too many cards filling ones wallet. Just do what we all know works at the major stores and just give everyone your best price without a discount card. More free wallet space means more money to spend in the store.

Such a cute, classy grocery store! Staff is helpful and foods are relatively easy to find. The Beer Den certainly singles this store out as unique. The products are pricier compared to other food market options, even with rewards card. Worth it if youre looking for some specialty foods though.

This was one of the coolest grocery store experiences Ive ever had. They have a taproom where you can get a glass of beer to walk around and shop with. The store is clean and nicely stocked. If I lived in Boone Id probably shop here more, because of the beer, compared to Food Lion. The prices were perhaps a bit higher than Food Lion, but the quality justified it.

For the customer there couldnt be much better for a general grocery store. Some specialty items are best left to special stores. The management and employees are devoted to the customer experience. The corporate interest is loyalty and they earn that with consistent lowering of prices and excellent rotating discounts. A store worth sticking with.

Lowes has really stepped up the game with their latest remodel. The deli, hot bar and salad bar are first class. Combine that with the beer den and its not just a great place to shop, but an excellent choice for lunch. As a grocer they have some of the best deals in town and they honor competitors coupons.
