I personally rate this establishment a 1. I had a specific spirit that I was looking for and it was advertised online that they had it for sale. The employee advised me that they hadn’t carried said item in about 3 months. My husband, on the other hand scored an awesome bourbon so that is why I gave a 2.
This wine shop was our first stop after settling into our hotel. What a great way to start our tasting adventure, and in one day we tried more wines than we could have imagined! This experience is a must because of the owners friendly and welcoming personality, as well as the opportunity to indulge in some delicious wines!
I enjoy the wine sold at this establishment. It was tasty and had a wonderful aroma. I can honestly say that their wines were really fermented. My tastebuds picked up on it right away. Aside from wine, they even had beers and liquors that you could try. Its a fantastic place to unwind and enjoy a glass of wine. This wine shop will now be my go-to place from now on.
My husband and I were walking through the neighborhood with our sons on a pleasant afternoon this week when we saw the sign for the wine tastings. Alexa was incredibly accommodating when we asked questions about the wines and then did a tasting.
Even though I live in Bedford, dwx has great products that are worth seeking out! So I spent an hour and a half going and retrieving my purchases. I will do so again!
This wine shop was just gorgeous. This is a store where I can return!
Excellent craft beer options, with heavy emphasis on local (large selection on New England heavyweights).
Nice service 👍 and some more fun
Needs to be better.
Fantastic service from Eamon Keating and a brilliant selection of South African wines. Looking forward shopping here again soon!
Called Eamon at BWX for some help with an older, vintage wine and he was able to secure it within two days, which made us very happy because this is a corporate gift! Service and communication was AMAZING and I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for any wine or spirits! Super professional, fast and so easy to work with via phone and email!! Thanks again!
The guy at the front was rude. I didnt even want to buy anything after that
Best service & selection ever! Just visited for a dry cider and I almost felt guilty for how helpful these guys were! New favorite wine shop in Boston
I mostly go here to pick up my CSA, but all the employees Ive met are pretty great and the selection of beers is fantastic. (Im more of a beer guy than wine.) Great downtown location too.
I can only speak on the beer section. The selection has too many IPA cans and bottles sitting for way too long past their freshness. They do have a few Ales and stouts that can sit for a while though. The fridge section has pretty fresh beer and is a decent local selection.
For this side of the downtown area its got a great and diverse beer selection. Always good options. Great cured meats too.
A lot of wine
Had a hard time finding it as we dont know boston. When we called to find what they were near, the employee on the phone could only tell us that they were in the financial district. We were well aware of that, as we were walking in that area. My husband mentioned a few businesses and banks that we could see, but all they kept telling us was they were in the financial district. Not impressed.
The guys at the counter were very helpful
Super clean, great selection and very friendly staff. Would recommend.
Good beer selection and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Pretty regular in store tastings. A good liquor store downtown.
Fabulous place. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Classy establishment. Best wine and craft beer selection in town. The staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and down to earth.
This is a great spot to get on the mailing list and then stop in for wine/beer/spirits tastings after work on Fridays and some Thursdays too. They have extensive selections on wine and craft beers and knowledgeable staff.
For beer and wine, its above okay. For whiskies and other spirits, they are over-priced store. I normally go there for evening hours, and two gentlemen clerks are always watching TV and giving me awkward look once I walked in. I see them making a good conversation with other customers and trying to help but, I always get the odd vibe from them. (maybe because I am an Asian??) They have such a beautiful store but, I dont know if they are using 100% out of it. Why do I still go there if I kept getting weird vibe? Idk, I just wanted to build a good customer-store relationship but its just not going nowhere. Id go to Gordons nearby if anyone look for advanced wine and spirit expertise.
Very cool wine and beer shop with a wide selection. Often have beer tastings Fridays after work.
The workers are great and always willing to help you find exactly what youre looking for. Very knowledgeable staff able to answer any questions.
Terrific selection of wines in a comfortable atmosphere with knowledgeable and patient staff. Can be pricey because they carry some high end lines.
Great selection if you dont mind paying a little more. also good beers
Great choice of wines and whiskey
