The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly! They also tend to have great suggestions if you ask for help picking anything out. I love the presence of lesser known brands and local breweries, I’ve found many new beers that I like because of this store!
Brookline Liquor Mart is an outstanding local spot. Listen, reader: an employee at Brookline Liquor Mart recommended me Lawsons Sip of Sunshine, which already happened to be--I kid you not!--one of my favorite beers. This incident left a lasting impression on me--a good one, a good one.
Good selection and very helpful staff! Its become my go-to neighborhood liquor store. If you dont see something specific, just ask - theyre happy to help and recommend excellent alternatives. The prices are very reasonable, which is always a nice bonus!
No problems, no wierdos. Just go in, get what you want, then pay. No bums outside waiting or asking for your stuff.
Great local liquor store. Has a large wine selection and a staff that are super knowledgeable about wine. The best is they have beer tastings on Fridays and wine tastings on Saturdays (with the wines that you taste are discounted). The best are their special events. Ive gone to their seasonal galas, where you can taste many different wines and spirits for free. Join their email list, as they also have random events such as wine & yoga nights, as well as bourbon tastings.
The guy working was so friendly and generous to my friends and I, and his dogs were so sweet! Highly recommend
This place used to be huge. Lots of room to walk around and awesome tasting events. they moved into a much smaller area and its tough to navigate. Tasting events are scaled way back. I miss the old place. Selection is still decent but its not the same.
More for beer than liquor. Lot of wine also. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. This is my go to spot.
If youre looking for craft beer, this place has the best selection around. Regularly stocks Lamplighter, Toppling Goliath, Heretic, and other hard to find craft brews. Sip of Sunshine has been in stock every time Ive gone in too.
Great knowledge of liquor and wine, friendly staff. Limited options but all quality, no wasting overhead on mediocre brands.
Good selection of craft beers to choose from. Nothing too obscure but better than most smaller liquor stores
Few posted prices on the beer which makes you have to ask about everything. And then the response was 15.99 for a 12 pack of Sam Adams? I dont think so bro, its 13.99 down the street. The whole store looses credibility when you overprice the basics. Wake up boys. Cool space though, pity it could be one-stop-shop home run but it whiffs. Go elsewhere for your beer at least.
My neighborhood beer store, nice guys even let me use the phone when I locked my keys in my car.
To be expected with local liquor store. Somewhat overpriced, but clean and staff is friendly and funny.Huge selection, and kinda busy on the weekends. Nice and close to the T as well.
BLM is second to none when it comes to quality of service and size of selection. With beer tastings every Friday night, wine tastings every Saturday, and wine school adjacent to the main facility, BLM offers unique opportunities to engage their customer base in acquiring a truly educated palette. The staff are extremely knowledgeable about their selection and always willing to help you find the perfect wine or beer to pair with your interests. While there may be a lot of competitors in the surrounding area, BLM is unmatched. It is obvious to any customer this is more than just a business, its a way of life. Stop in here for great service, great conversation and youll walk away with some great deals!
Great selection and excellent customer service!
Extensive wine and liquor selection. Prices arent overly inflated for being a Boston area liquor store. Constant tastings in the store.
Friendly employees and great prices. What more do you want?
Great, helpful staff. Large selection of whiskeys (including Japanese) and beers.
Place is a dump, do not believe the good reviews, this place is barren of anything, empty shelves galore and a horrible craft beer selection. Dont do it!
A little pricey. Selection dropped significantly when they moved to the smaller part of the building.
A party without alcohol is just a meeting
Nice wine selection.
Not a lot of liquor selctions
Nice taste in wines
Very rude staff!
