I love this place. As soon as you walk in, you get the sense that the people that run this place love their job. They will let you know in advance exactly what they will need to do along with the price estimate. They are very knowledgable, super friendly, honest and transparent. By email they are very responsive, polite, and clear in their communication. Initially I brought my motorcycle that I bought second hand for a general inspection and to replace the tires. They did a great job and they were honest telling me that the bike was actually in top condition. The second time I brought it here was because I forgot the lights on and run out of battery. Mark was again very honest telling me that he did not have to change the battery but just recharge it. He did this for free despite the fact that I insisted I wanted to pay for the service. Moreover he installed a cable that allows me to charge the battery by myself if this happens again. He is also super helpful in answering all my questions and providing me with tips. I am very happy I have found this place and definitely recommend it.

Madhouse is fantastic! After banging my knuckles one too many times (and my head against the wall) they helped resurrect my vintage Honda and I couldn’t be happier. Great team, awesome service, and good pricing. Mark and the the rest of the folks down there are awesome to work with and kept me updated the entire time. I recently put my 2019 Aprilia Tuono in for a service with Madhouse, the service was fairly extensive including new carbon wheels being fitted and balanced, new tires, a new exhaust being added with ECU flashing, oil change, brake fluid flushing and new reservoir and a coolant replacement. The work was immaculate, and fast, and the bike looked amazing but the real change was when I took it out on its first ride. It was night and day, the team had finessed the bike and it is a dream to ride, smoother acceleration right across the range, better cooling and a more balanced feel to the bike. Cannot recommend Mark and the team more, they are highly experienced, and obviously passionate about bikes, and it shows. Thanks Madhouse team.

Madhouse Motor is like a little mall for people who love cars I went to Roys Auto body if there was a phantom Gourmet this would be on his list, my car was rusting from winter plowing, and I took it to them and I am speechless, from the front desk,to the Owner, and the Mechanic s I like to call them artist,because you can see the love of cars in there work,I have a 2006 Pontiac she is ready for a car show.

Ive been riding across country on my 2019 KTM 790 Adventure. I needed to get my chain adjusted. The men and women at Madhouse were amazing. Super helpful and kind. Mark the service head handled it all and had me on my way in a very short time. I dont know if everyone could expect to have their bike worked on that fast but if I lived in Boston this would be without question the place I would bring my bike for service. Can you give more than 5 stars? Also J Shia owns the place and she is legendary!

Took my Ducati Monster to them for a basic service, return to life. Mark was great to work with, I had a good idea of some basic issues the bike had, and Mark listened and passed that info onto the techs. All work was done timely, and professionally. Looking forward to the opening of the coffee shop, as well as some welding classes for my wife. I feel lucky to have them located so close to home....take a look at the huge selection of bikes they have for sale, reasonably priced as well. I look forward to returning in the fall for some fabrication work. Side note on 1 star reviews; If you see a review that is basically the opposite of all the others, and written by someone with no other reviews, good bet it is bogus.

Great shop. Has courses to learn maintenance and went through point by point what needed to be done with my bike without taking me for a ride. Woman owned and none of that toxic get a real bike attitude some shops have.

I dropped my bike last May and searched on google for a good shop for bikes, J’s Mad House Motors came up from its perfect reviews. She was super helpful, professional and went beyond what was her part to help me out from towing my bike to her shop, fixing it for me, store the bike throughout the the winter and even help me to sell the bike since I wasn’t really keen on riding again after my incident. Her rate was very reasonable and performed professional work. All of her teams were truly bike lovers, I was lucky to found her shop and I appreciate her help all the way! 100% recommended!

WARNING WARNING! I lost $800 at MADHOUSE because of inept mechanics. I brought my rough idling bike in for estimate. The estimate was $450. The bike was available for pickup 4 weeks later! They replaced the manifold boots and tinkered with the idle. The new price, $800 without my prior approval! I drove the bike 20 mile; it still ran terrible. Next time I tried to ride, it would not start. I had to pay to tow it back to the shop. A week later they said it would cost another $350 to fix. I said no and went to retrieve my bike. When I got to the shop there was a bill for ANOTHER $150 for service evaluate. Too bad the mechanics at Mad House aren’t as sharp as their pencils. All these 5 star ratings are BS. BEWARE. Find another mechanic.

Terrible!!! Common sense is not always so common even for so called professionals!!! Took bike in to repair a noise in somewhere in engine. They said they know what it is! Paid for part and labor. Picked up bike 2 weeks later, it was dirty, had to ask them to wipe it down and still the same noise. Called them back, they said they can do the diagnostic test, fixit, and part. Get this they want to charge me for everything and they fixed the wrong thing!!! Wouldnt you diagnosis the bike orginally instead of thinking in your head?!!! Out 300 dollars with the same problem!!! Never again!!! Unprofessional and they know Im right!!! I was not offered a discount or anything for their mistake. Welp 300 dollars added to the PPP loan.

You know when you find THE motorcycle shop?That’s Madhouse Motors.To start, I inquired in December of 2019 to work on two projects of mine. An XSR900 & a YZ250fx sumo build which spanned several months over the winter. They Every timeline, detail and modification was promptly met and documented via email.Fast forward, it is currently May of 2021 and they’ve worked multiple times on tother bikes of mine since then.Mark, the manager, is always a class act. Communication with him is effortless, whether it be via text, phone or email.Absolute trust in a mechanic is few and far between. But at Madhouse, theres no question. I trust them with any job.Simply the best, of the best.

I need a 125 cc bike

This place is the best. I left my ‘79 CB650 with them a year or two ago on the recommendation of a friend and basically left it at “anything you see that needs fixing up, go for it.” They went totally up and down the bike and replaced, repaired, or adjusted anything that needed it. They were totally fair with me price-wise and even de-greased the bike for me! Recently I took it in because the horn stopped working. Within 5 minutes J poked at it and had it fixed up, taking me as soon as I arrived. She refused to take any money from me for the quick fix! Friendly, fair place with knowledgeable people who love bikes. Definitely worth your consideration when you need some work done.

The leadership and staff at Madhouse are dedicated to customer satisfaction. Knowledgeable and professional in the repair and restoration of all types of motorcycles. While other shops might try to sell the customer on the most expensive repair alternative Ive personally seen them avoid this type of upsell and suggest more appropriate and less costly remedies. They also specialize in customization and seasonal storage as well.

My mates and I have had great experiences here. Excellent service, reasonable rates, and a friendly team. Dont bring your bike anywhere else in Boston!

The review is way late, but it is never too late. Early fall 2019, I needed to do the 16K service for my 2015 Honda CBX500, I talked to Shia who explained whats needed and how much it would cost roughly. One week later or so, I had my bike back with lower price than the estimate (with 10% discount). If I took it to another shop my motorcycle will linger for months and probably the job would not be done properly. Hi mark for Shia and her team. Thank you.

This place rocks!! I am absolutely blown away with their top notch level of customer service. I ordered a hoodie and my size was sold out - no biggie right? They contacted me quickly and offered a refund and were super cool about saving the sale discount for me when they are able to restock my size. As if that wasn’t awesome enough, today I discovered that they also sent me a free t-shirt and a hand written note thanking me for being so cool about the xl size hoodie delay.
