The Fantastic Sams of Boulder City, Nevada is amazing. Shelley took on the task of making my 83 year olds mother hair turn into a firework of color and beauty. My mother is not in the best of health and I cant even begin to tell you how much better she felt mentally and physically after her hair was done. Shelley, YOU ARE THE BEST. The staff was so kind and competent. Shelley even did my hair too and I love it!

Arrived last week for an appointment at 9 a.m. and nobody showed. Noone called to reschedule. I waited a half hour. Today i waited 20 minutes for an appointment and nobody showed. Wish there was somebidy there. I go here all the time and the haircuts are very good.Update: received a call and an apology and a kind offer to make it right. I am glad because this extra courtesy made me appreciate this business and its efforts to correct a problem in these difficult times.

I have been coming to this shop for years. Kristy Hicks does and amazing job on my hair. I have 3 colors and its awesome. I am always complimented. The girls in the shop are great, I love Michelle. Well most of them are great. I dont like coming to a shop and having to listen or deal with a Debbie downer. Jen needs to change her negative attitude or get a different profession.Other than her I believe the Fantastic Sams in Boulder City is the best for hair and waxing. Their products are outstanding. When you work out in the weather like I do its a must to have good products. Thanks again Kristy.

Worst haircut of my life.

I had an honest and patient stylist. I like what she did. There was 1 other stylist working. I was a walk in around 9:30 am for a cut only. While I was there, the other stylist completed a customer which looked very nice. Then she did a mens haircut. My stylist gave me the haircut I wanted.A very pleasant experience.

Clean shop, not crowded and very nice staff.

Been here three times, each time I have to ask for the shampoo...even though it’s included in the price. It’s a less than “we care about you” feeling. Decent haircut.

I went in there to get my hair and my two little boys hair cut and there was one customer in the store. I was told you have to make a reservation and we are not accepting anymore today. I will not fill bad when this company goes out of business. As a business owner you should always be polite and accommodate your customers.

The Fantastic Sams in Boulder City, NV is the salon to go to. The stylists are very professional and friendly. I highly recommend Kristen. (the gal with the Hymalain cat) My hair was overdue for a cut and Kristen did an AMAZING job! Dont second guess yourself about popping in for a cut or color. The services are economically priced and the kind friendly staff make you feel right at home!! Way to go!!!!

If youre a guy and ask for a trim be expecting to have all of your hair cut off for the generic longer on the top shorter on the sides comb over everyone has. Ive been extremely disappointed every time that Ive tried to give them another chance, theyve now lost my business permanently.

These guys always get me in quickly, get my haircut just how I ask, and are very friendly. Couldnt ask for more!

They told me to be 40 minute wait and it ended up being two hours and they werent apologetic it was the black girl she didnt inform me was going to be longer she made excuses saying I only have two hands and not in keeping me in informed about how long it would really take she said 40 minutes ish whatever that means

The worst hair cut Ive ever had! She was upset because I asked her to use scissors instead of clippers. When I said the left side of my head was too long, she huffed and cut it. When she didnt try to fix the right side, I told her to and she huffed again and said, oh you want the other side done too?. OMG! Im sure there are other cutters in there that know what they are doing, but if you dont know who to ask for, dont try them!

As far as $16.00 haircuts go, you get what you pay for. Ive had good and bad cuts from this particular location even though Ive been getting the same cut with the same instructions for 15 + years. The main reason for this is most likely that the stylists are ever changing and I rarely have had the same person cut my hair more than twice before they seem to have quit or moved to a different location.

Was very rude and blatantly told me they couldnt help me.

When I first started getting my hair cut here, I always used the same stylist, she cut it the way I asked her to, after the third time she is no longer there, since then everyone that has cut my hair does it their way!!!! I WILL NOT RETURN, for $14 Ill look elsewhere 😟😟😟
