John been waiting for you to finish your story. Its been a while, so Ill finish your story for you. When people order a bike its hard to sell to other people, thats why bike shops take a deposit. So if you dont follow threw on the deal its easier to sell at a discounted price to someone else. Because you loss your deposit. At the time you ordered your bike, bikes were very hard to come by. Some Bike are still not available. Bike shops only relay what they are told by there suppliers. In your case your bike, I heard was held up in customs. Your bike was here before year-end. When you finally picked it up, I hope you are enjoying your bike. I havent seen anything negative on this post. Don at Loop Custom Cyclery is a very upstanding person that you could ever know.

I placed an order for a bike last July 3, 2020. Before I even placed the deposit ($350.00) Don told me that the bike should be available in a couple of months as he said that I was fortunate enough to purchase one of the 2 remaining that was available. Were now at the end of November and whenever I call to get an update since he doesnt usually call to update me, I get the usual BS that the parts are unavailable and he doesnt have the slightest clue about when the bike will arrive. Im so frustrated and I think I should get my deposit back soon!

After bringing my Trek M5 to this place, it came back to me shifting better than when i purchased it new from Trek. Its funny what you get use to until theres a change. Ive had this bike into the shop from where it was purchased in CA several times with the same complaint time and time again. From the get go, it was grinding gears and the chain kept falling off and they never could fix it. After one visit to Loop Custom Cyclery, i was astonished at how well it rode and shifted! It was in and out of the shop in a reasonable number of days and repaired at a very fair price. If i could rate this business higher, i would!
