Very helpful staff,always ready to give you ideas if you not sure how to do something

The store has grown over the years and been updated. Still, though, its everything a small-town hardware store should be. It has a wide variety of items and helpful, friendly staff.

Cute little store well stocked friendly helpful staff prices on some items slightly high.

Expensive compared to big box. When you factor in gas and time from Boulder City to a big box, its not too bad. Great selection and they have hardware that cannot be found anywhere else.

The staff is amazing. Always willing to stop what they are doing you help. Thats 10 stars in my book.

Great store, locally owned open airy bright new store shelves etc. Owner Roger is extremely knowledgeable all staff is too. They are each a expert in a different area of tools and hardware, plumbing, painting, wood,pets. They have a small woodlot, a greenhouse and in spring and summer tons of plants from veges to landscaping and flowers. And theres a taco truck next door !!

These are good folks that help you anyway they can.

I love TruValue hardware store. Their are 2 hardware places in town and I live right close to the other one. I ride my bike across the main highway to go here whenever feasible. The staff is more than willing to help me find things. They are always welcoming and friendly. Even greeting me by name my last 2 visits. They have a much larger inventory than the other place as well. I get 10 percent off for being a Veteran too. When I tell them at the register, the usual response is, thank you for your service. And then actually giving me a discount. Once again to compare, at Ace, they too have a discount. Sometimes they will acknowledge that I have told them about my Veteran status. Other times they do not. I hate to say it twice. To me it sounds like I am beggin. Then it is just a crapshoot as to whether I get the discount or not. If I use my rewards coupon they definitely wont give me the military discount. They let me know that my last time there. If you have the choice as to which place to patronize, I recommend TrueValue for sure!

They are Great small town hardware store they might not have everything the big homedepot but they seem to have what I need

A little overpriced, but its the only hardware store in B.C. so I guess its their perogative!

High prices, limited selection, and poor customer service. We were told to go out back to pick up an overpriced sheet of drywall. No one came to meet us. We had to walk back to the store to find somebody to help us. The store was not busy at the time, so I dont know why no one came to help us. They didnt have another item that I needed and didnt help me look. They just sent me to an aisle to fend for myself. I get better service at the big stores like Lowes and Home Depot, and their prices are much more reasonable.

The staff is very helpful, friendly, and always try to answer your questions and order product if they dont have it.

Great place to pick up this and that for your DIY.

I drove an hour to come here because True Value online would ship the item I needed there ($12). Home Depot and Lowes wanted me to special order 4 of the same item ($50+) so I was happy to find that I could order one and pick it up here. Was worth the drive. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The Floyds Barber Shop of Boulder City. Go there just to visit. And if you actually want to shop, well, they always happen to have exactly what you need.

We came in Saturday morning for some plumbing parts.the guy that helped us was rude, sarcastic, he acted like he didnt even want to help us.my grandfather was so uncomfortable he told me to forget it lets go to Ace hardware.that guy should appreciate that he has a job, theres lots of people that dont.whay an aweful way to start the weekend.thanks for nothing.

They offer military discount on certain items, but you have to ask for it.You could be a 104 years old and still have to ask for your Senior discount.I think that is a poor way to run a business.

Rude owner who assumed I was just parking to go-to the the BC Dam Tacos. Maybe I was parking in your empty parking lot to order food then shop in your hardware store whilst my food was cooking...decided not to buy from your store..well done owner, try being nice to all potential customers.

Hard to believe but they have a good reptile area. No discounts for VETs but they do it for 65 plus. Great place for RV parts also

I have yet to get assistance when buying items that guides me to the product I need.First time it was thin set for ceramic tile, this time it was a thermostat.The person at the register manages to screw up the return transaction. I used a debit card with a pin for the purchase. He isolated it’s a credit card so now the funds are in limbo and the bank that issued the debit card does not see any refunds.

Besides not carrying groceries and clothing, they have just about everything else you need at very fair prices and good service too ! Everytime I go there somebody asks if they can help me find something.No complaints !

Its a great hardware store. The employees are awesome small town locals who either know what u need & how to help or they put a smile on ur face and loan u acouple dollars to help u take home everything you came for. Unfortunately they have a little competition with our .99c store which makes acouple things in the store seem too expensive. But thats the way it goes. True Value, always my go to.

Great customer service, if they dont have exactly what youre looking for they will help you find it somewhere else. Big Box stores could take some lessons on how to treat customers from these people.

I can say because I work there. Home hardware offers 10% discount on most items for seniors (60) and all veterans/active duty 7 days a week.

Im completely spoiled to have this store as a resource nearby my auto and cycle repair shop that involves needing new hardware frequently. the hardware selection blows away lowes/home depot. the employees demonstrate competency and willingness to help. the store manager, dick, is willing to order in special items if need be. the hardware selection only gets more serious at a specialty store like mcfadden dale. boulder city is lucky to have this store.
