I VISIT THIS PLACE EVERY TIME IN IN BOULDER! Their cupcakes are absolutely delicious & the staff is always smiling! They made custom Kitty cat cupcakes for my daughters birthday and made her the happiest girl in the world! I continue to come back for the cupcakes (of course) but also because the staff is incredible and the quiche is amazing! They even have Donut Fridays!!!! If you havent been to T & Cakes, you NEED to find time to stop in! You wont regret it!

Tee and Cakes prepared our wedding cake (and sheet cake) for our special day and it was a GREAT decision! The cake looked spectacular and tasted amazing! I was picky on the cake as it is one of my favorite foods, but they exceeded all expectations! I would highly recommend to everyone!!

Our wedding cake and cupcakes were so delicious!! I worked w/ Brynne Schlicher 100% remotely via email as I live in Vermont. From the beginning, Brynne made the entire booking and planning process a breeze. I couldn’t do a tasting but had heard such wonderful things I knew things would be wonderful. I really wanted something simple yet delicious. T & Cakes did not disappoint! Delivery was convenient and the stand recommended (which we rented for only $10!!) worked out perfectly. We highly recommend this from scratch bakery, and we will always stop in when we visit Boulder! Thank you to Brynne Schlicher and the T & Cakes team!

Excellent bakery. We enjoyed the delicious cupcakes, brownies and quiche. We were in Boulder for a week and went back to the bakery to buy cake pops and brownies to take home. The two young women Brynne and Hillary who waited on us were very polite and helpful. What a wonderful bakery!

Tee and Cakes is close to the bus depot, which is great for a sweet tooth on the way home from Boulder. On the food, I would recommend the cookies. Two of the cookies Ive tried are delicious and worth the price. They were thick and werent dry. However, the cupcakes were under whelming for me. Theres a little too much frosting to cake ratio and for the price, I expected a little more in the cake.On the store itself, unfortunately during winter they close doors promptly at 4pm. Winter hours, from what I experienced this year, lasted from Labor day through the following memorial day... long time to be on winter hours and sucks when you work until 4:30pm.

When my daughter asked for a lemon cake for her birthday, I struck out when our usual cake shop wouldnt make the flavor. We ended up googling cake shops in Boulder and this shop was the only one who would work with our timeline and details. Their customer service was friendly and efficient. The cake was beautiful and every detail just as I had hoped, down to the icing colors and rainbow sprinkles. Thanks for the most gorgeous and delicious lemon cake! The whole party loved it.

So... my favorite T and cakes story is that I stopped in here for a quick meeting, and wound up walking across the street and upstairs to catch a view of the fire at Oak next door. Was the longest short business meeting while eating cakes, drinking tea and rubbernecking at a fire ever. Thankfully T & cakes wasnt closed more than an afternoon, and Oak eventually reopened.

We absolutely love their gluten free cakes/cupcakes/anything, especially my husband who has celiacs. So soft and not dry like most gluten free cakes. When it came time to order our wedding cake, it was a no brainer we were using T&Cakes. Brynn was a joy to work with and our wedding cake was beautiful and delicious!

Yummy peanut butter cupcakes and lots of different flavors, box em up or as I did one in hand walking the streets on a great night. You could bring lots of these to a meeting at work for sure or a party for people with the munchies lol. Might want to have milk on hand, maybe a porter for the chocolate ones would be good.

My sisters and I stopped in on October 15th to get a cupcake . The Birthday cake cupcake had no flavor and was a little dry on top. The chocolate hazelnut cupcake had not one hint of hazelnut in it. The lemon coconut cupcake was dry. Overall not what we hoped for. Sorry..... but if you don’t know you can’t fix it.

I highly recommend T & Cakes! They provided macarons, cake pops, and peanut butter brownies for our wedding in June. They were so delicious! We received numerous compliments and hardly anything was leftover after the wedding. Their staff was also super friendly and helpful to work with during the planning process!

I emailed a cake order to be delivered to my sister for her birthday and Cassie was so accommodating! The cake was really cute and they even made an awesome birthday card to go with it! They also accommodated adding any iced latte to the delivery. Great service- thank you for helping me celebrate with my sister from afar!

Ummmmm...... Oh my goodness!!!!! I ordered a Salted Bourbon Carmel cake for my husbands birthday and it was awesome! Not only was it beautiful but it tasted AMAZING. The staff was so pleasant and helpful. I will definitely go back for every cake that I need. This place is exactly what Ive been looking for!

I popped in because I was craving something sweet and was delighted to find they offered vegan cupcakes. I bought one on a whim and Im glad I did because it was the best vegan cupcake I ever had.

The owner is rude and has absolutely ZERO experience in running a business, much less a bakery. Most of the employees, including the owner, DO NOT follow proper food safety rules.They confirm cake orders with people and then the head baker complains about having to make whatever is ordered. I wouldn’t want to ever order a cake from here again because I’ve seen and heard what goes on behind the scenes and I DO NOT trust them. To be quite honest, I’m surprised they’re still in business.

T & Cakes makes amazing cupcakes. I always tell people to only go here if you want one of three things--cupcakes, a cake, or a cheddar biscuit breakfast sandwich. The cupcakes are all creative flavor combinations and you can mix and match to your liking. I have read reviews of people having really bad service here and I believe it. I have had similar experiences, but honestly, the cupcakes are worth it. If you want a drink or pastry, go down the street to Boxcar or Amante.

Ive been hitting this place up for coffee and muffins for a while now.. Thursday is Cheddar biscuit day and I never miss it. The staff is fantastic, and the clientele is non-pretentious. Great local spot in town. Oh and the cupcakes rival Magnolia in the NYC.

I had the pleasure of going here last summer as we set up our display for the 2011 Ford Fiesta. I must say not only was every cupcake I tried great, the staff and coffee was just as great as well. Thanks to the great staff!!

This is my guilty pleasure. I love the cute decor and the cupcakes are to die for. While I love trying all their unique flavors their Vanilla is always my favorite (although the Bacon Maple is a close second.)

Love the Macaroons! They had a chai macaroon flavor that you must not pass. It is so worth the drive for a piece of it.

I called from SC and ordered a cookie cake for my brothers birthday. Even though a cookie cake was not on their menu, they said it wasnt a problem. They had the cookie cake ready for the next day and I heard it was delicious!

The staff here rocks!! Not only did they recommend a super yummy place for lunch but they were incredibly kind and helpful. If you have a gluten allergy/problem then this is the bakery for you! I dont live in Boulder so finding fresh baked GF goodies is rare. I got a cupcake that was to die for, a macaroon and even for cake pops to take home. You couldnt even tell it was GF. Seriously, go here and just enjoy their delicious goodies.

When we moved here from New Jersey, I was on a mission to find bakeries like the ones we enjoyed on the East Coast (shout out to Baked by Melissa in NY, Sweet Eats in NJ, Desserts by Dana in DE, and Sweet Elizabeths in PA). I tried MANY bakeries recommended to me here, and Tee and Cakes was by far the best. Their Maple Bacon cupcakes are to die for. However, what prompted me to write this review is their top notch customer service. We order all our special occasion cakes from here - so when we ordered our daughters 4th birthday cake, and it was not up to their regular standard -- I called and they were extremely responsive and took ownership of their shortfall in delivering what I expected from them -- and went above and beyond to offer me a full refund. My family and I value a good cake, but the icing on the cake (no pun intended) here is their customer service. Thank you, T & Cakes! Youll continue to be my go-to bakery for all my baked needs!

What else can I say, DELICIOUS!

Not exactly friendly towards the end of the day. If employees are that tired that cannot provide basic service it may be a good idea to send them home and replace with other staff for the last couple of hours. My companions and I were shown the door 5 minutes before closing, not warned that if we ordered we could not consume the purchased products in the premises. Would have been better served if told from the beginning only to-go food would be sold.

Beyond the amazing cake, their cookies are fantastic. If you get there during a slow time, take the time to hang out and chat with the employees, they have some great stories.

The salted Caramel chocolate tart was amazing! It has been ages since I had a Caramel so dark and bitter. It was grand!

Went here today and was surprisingly disappointed. The lemon cupcake was too sweet and either undercooked or the goopy lemon stuff soaked into the cupcake. It was very mushy and far too sweet. The macarons were incredibly tough to bite into, more like a sugary chew than a macaron, similar to the cupcake it was far too sweet and I did not finish mine. The chai I had was alright.Very friendly staff though.

If you expect to get a treat from here, show up early. My kids were so excited to get their treats tonight and they locked the door right in front of us, 10 minutes early! So sad.

I needed something for the office - last minute. I wanted a cake, when I called they sd the dont make ANY cakes in advance, all of thier cakes are custom order, but they had cupcakes and cake pops. I almost went elsewhere because I had it in my mind I wanted cake.. and you know how that goes. However, I decided to go get some cupcakes and cake pops - Im glad that I did. Not only were the two people there AMAZINGLY friendly, funny and easy to deal with, ex: he couldnt see what I was pointing to and instead of asking me for names or making it complicated, he simply came to my side of the counter to see what I was pointing at. I appreciate good customer service, especially since its a dying artform. He gives me hope that its being revived. I got back to the office, had a lovely arrangement of cupcakes and cake pops to present at the meeting (also someones bday) and they were YUMMY!!! The flavers were true, not waxxy, and just all around good. I will definitely go there again, though I think next time Ill order the cake in advance haha! Thanks guys, J

These were the worst cupcakes I have ever eaten. The frosting tasted like Crisco. The Red Velvet cupcakes just had the taste of vegetable oil. The coconut topped cupcake tasted like almonds and not like cococut. The actual cakes were dry and small and the most expensive cupcake ever. Surprisingly, the bacon maple cupcake had flavor, a good sweetness, a firm but light consistency. Buy a Betty Crocker mix - it tastes better.
